Fantasy Surnaturel Academy

Yumi quietly opened the class door, then walked over around the students, taking a seat next to Hanako, since they'd gotten along best today. Yumi took out her rock, and placed it on her desk, the googly eyes staring. Judging. Waiting.

"Did I miss anything important?" she whispered to the ghost.

Hanako turned to Yumi and whispered back, "The teacher threatened me with hand lasers and then called me fat. You probably don't wanna mess with him or he might hurt you."

Hanako then went back to her paper before noticing Yumi's pet rock.

"Oh, who's that? A friend of yours?"

Z looked around and guessing there were no more questions."Okay If you look at the viewscreens you'll a strategy human children have probably used in their early lives." He explained as the screens showed a video of one kind on his knees and another pushing a big kid over him to make him fall. The screens went black one the video ended. "Don't worry I'm not gonna make you do that but today I'm going to show you a strategy useful in a scenario where you're attacked on two sides. Any one here can bring up a good example about being attacked on two sides." he said.

(FML no notifications)

Roth played with the aura ball for a bit and then heard the bell ring and just tailed behind Yoh as he made his way to the classroom and Roth took a seat next to him as he looked around at the circular room and the moron of a teacher walk in, Roth propped his feet up with his boots clacking together in the middle of the teachers sentence towards someone else and thought to himself 'Defense and Logic, what a joke of a class '

Cas raised his hand. "I get attacked on both sides whenever I date two girls at once." He laughed and leaned back in his seat, his wings springing from his back.

Kael walked in just shortly before they showed the video. He had Masako at his side, but because of the video, they went unnoticed. "I know of an example." Kael said as he raised his hand. "It's actually an experience I've had on both ends." Kael stayed there while Masako walked to the other end of the center of the room. The two of them looked like they were about to demonstrate something to show an example of being attacked from both sides. "Mind if me and my sister give a demonstration of sorts?"

"Oh, yeah. This is Peter. He is my pet rock." Yumi explained.

"I talk to him a lot, since I have, uh... I don't have a lot of friends. He's a little stone-faced, but he's a decent conversationalist." she went on about her companion.

"...Sometimes I give him tiny boxing gloves and call him Rocky Balboa."

"..." Peter H. Stone said nothing, as was par for the course, as he could not communicate. He merely listened to the trifling of the Mongrel Kitsune. I miss magma. So much more entertaining than biologicals. And of course you don't have friends, I'm surprised you haven't been mugged further. It would provide me another chuckle if you were. And it would be par for the course of the Biologicals. ... I miss magma. Peter thought entering into a melancholic state. He then began to think to the folly of the biological lifeforms and felt better.

"No that's fine, I was hoping someone would bring up Germany in WW1 which was fighting a war on two fronts against both France and Russia." The teacher said ignoring Cas's example. "Germany had a plan called the Schliffen Plan which was basically a full power attack to knock out one opponent before the other attacks." The screen showed picture of WW1 Europe and arrows from Germany going into France. "But Germany at the last second took a third of their forces and left them in Germany making it a weaker attack and they failed. Anyway that's just one way to deal with a war on two fronts, today I'm going to see if you guys can come up with an effective plan to deal with a war on two fronts. You're going to divide into groups of three create a plan and then bring it to me for the ok then you'll present it. This'll be your first project so unless you're looking to fail my class you better do your best."

Hanako giggled. 'Stone-faced' and 'Rocky Balboa' were good, though the latter would have worked better if Peter had been introduced as such with his boxing gloves. Obviously this girl liked comedy, which always got points with Hanako. Maybe Yumi would want to start a manzai duo with her some time.

"Well, he sounds nice," said Hanako, obviously not paying attention to class, "But you can talk to me too now. Um, if you want."

Hanako averted her eyes, instead concentrating on her origami. She had created a small paper balloon, and began juggling it high into the air.

"Oh, we can team up for this." Yumi exclaimed, smiling. They'd just need a third.

"So that's you, me, and..." her finger waved around, stopping on Peter.

"That mime girl! Should should have a few ideas on this sort of thing." she smiled, nodding.

Cas sighed and looked around. He didn't want to be apart of anyone's group and he doubted that they would want to be in a group with him. He sank down in his chair and closed his eyes, hoping to not be noticed.

"Huh? We're teaming up?" asked Hanako, grabbing the balloon from the air and looking at Yumi. She hadn't listened to a thing the teacher said, because it sounded lewd. Probably coming on to his students and stuff.

"What are we supposed to do? He's not gonna make us kiss, right?"

Hanako looked around for the mime girl, alarmed. She wasn't sure she wanted a mime to have her first kiss.

Roth elbowed Yoh "would you like to work on this ...... together." Roth said together like he was eating a vial of poison Roth was so used to being by himself with everything it felt so unusual

"..." Peter said nothing, as he could not communicate. I shall enjoy watching you biologicals fail in, whatever this boring task is. Fighting a War on Two Fronts... just what a biological would do. Laughable. This just gives me more time to think about more important things. Peter again found himself drawn to thinking about rock formations and various things relating to rocks. He thought about moss again. The dense verdant camouflage his brethren would use constantly. Oh yes, it was a fine substance. He then began to think about magma, and its majesty.

"We don't have to kiss if you don't want to." Yumi explained to the ghost.

"The teacher wants us to... do war strategies? I don't know anything about war strategies." she said. Indeed, Yumi was at a loss as far as this was concerned. She'd have an easier time with cooking, or maybe medicine.

"You don't know anything about that, do you? I don't."

Kael completely contradicted Cas's attempt to hide by calling him out. "Hey, Cas was it? You should join me and Masako. We thought that if we were gonna have to have a third person, we'd prefer it be someone like you, and you've already got knowledge about Masako's powers to boot. We would've gone with the rock, but seems he's already taken." That last sentence was definitely a joke, but who knows. With it being Kael, he might be so stupid he's somehow able to actually come upon the realization that rocks are a superior species.

Masako was already back next to Kael, standing there silently and seeming like she were trying to avoid being any closer to other people than she already was being inside the room. "Oh, by the way, Masako wants me to say hello to you in her place, so hello." Masako kept her face hidden by the shadow of her hood. Under that hood was a look of slight sadness that came from Masako's worry of hurting somebody while in a room with this many other people, but it wasn't nearly as much as it would be if Kael wasn't there with her.

Yoh looked at Roth and said "Ok but this class is boring me." Then Yoh realized he struggled on the word "Together". Yoh raised an eyebrow but didn't ask. "We just need one more person now."

Mr Z sighed and mumbled "Margaret why can't strategy, abilities, and weaponry all be put in one class? I desperately want to return to the front lines and leave this as X's problem. "

"Oh," muttered Hanako, "That's what he meant by war on two fronts."

Hanako had thought of something lewd, but it wasn't even her fault. The teacher was so mean and creepy that that was the only way she could take it. Anyways, she had no problem with mimes, though she wasn't sure how the silent girl could contribute. She waved the mime over.

"I don't know much about war and stuff either. I really like samurai, though."

"So who are we going to ask, just as long as its someone smart like us." Roth got up out of his seat and stretched for a second before looking about at all the groups of people already formed.

Yu raised his hand again. "Wouldn't the best strategy just be not fighting a war on two fronts? And what information do we have? What is the relationship between the other two countries, what is their economic and military standing compared to ours, do we have allies of our own or are we completely isolated, are they isolated or would attacking either one mean making enemies of someone else? Pardon my frankness but this assignment just lacks context, as it is I feel as though I'll just be making things up".

Charlotte stared, dumbfounded, cigarette hanging limply from her lips as the teacher revealed himself to be a complete and utter idiot. Then he assigned a project and Charlotte decided to humor him. Maybe he was testing the waters to see if any of the students actually knew of the events of WWI, or strategy in general for that matter.

That decided, she moved herself to the desk's glossy, laminate surface to greet the sickly girl and her translucent friend, giving them both a little wave in greeting.

"All you need to know are in these papers, but to give you the short version you're basically innthe same position as Germany is WW1." Z replied. With a snap of his finger packets with the neccessary information appeared of the edge of the table. "You say the best strategy is to nor fight a war on two front but there's indeed situations where such a predicament is unavoidable. But it was indeed clever of you to come to that conclusion."

Yoh head turned to look at Yu and he said to Roth "There we go, member number 3." Yoh teleported to Yu's left and asked "Do you want to be our third member you seem clever?"

"Okay, defending a war with your rear." Yumi said, holding up her tail. She held it to her chest, hugging it as she thought.

"Hmm.... I got nothing. Maybe we could just build a big wall? Like... super mega big. Germany has good walls, right?" she considered.

Peter H. Stone thought of his kin in Germany, since the Mongrel Kitsune brought it up. Rocks were and would always be superior to the biological lifeforms Peter had the misfortune of being around. He then thought of the various things that could defeat the biologicals, and he chuckled to himself. Ah, the thought of the inferiority of biological lifeforms never grew old. Peter then returned to thinking about magma, something worth his time.
