The Eight-Legged Norse Horse
It's not that special from the outside; just a tiny, rustic village hidden away in the Mew Mexico backcountry. It's strange, the way it's settled — sometimes there's acres of forest scattered in the middle and around the edges, where the town seems to stop suddenly with the exception of a few outlying cabins and old buildings.
The place has a historic feel; it looks like no one's built anything new since the turn of the century. Not a single house in the town doesn't look historic. Some are abandoned, with peeling paint and cracked Windows. Naturally, the children whisper about ghosts, demons, and dark communes.
It's true. This little town is inhabited by all sorts of supernatural beings — humans rarely pass through, and those that do often leave in a hurry. Not to say a few don't stay — in fact, resident humans may even know the truth, but for fear of dangerous passers-by, non-locals are kept out of the loop. Out in the wilds, some say fauns, dragons and other rare, reclusive beasts are said to dwell.
