Fantasy Supernatural Teenage Drama

Jordan fell to the ground from Nico and raised her eyebrows when he kissed her cheek. It was hard to remember it was Nico, considering how much stronger and capable the boy was in Ryan's body. She had to remind herself this wasn't Ryan and she had to be gentle with him. "What are you doing Nico...? Go to Bella! She wants you!" She smiled sadly at the boy trying to sound enthusiastic.

"Ja-Jabadah?" Nico asked. Was she shooing him away? What did he do to deserve this? No, he couldn't cry now especially in Ryan's body. He looked at Jordan again, "...Jabadah". Bella watched them and began to relax a bit remembering her brother's powers. She supposed in someway, she really was too competitive. Besides she's no emotional person like Jordan. She was the type of woman who would get over things in a snap.

Jordan looked up at Nico, then sat up. She could feel his hurt and sighed. "Nico... I have to go..." She looked over at Bella who appeared to be calming down. She glanced back at Nico, kissed his cheek, "I'm sorry Nico."

Nico sat down on the grass and sighed. A beep sounded from Ryan's phone. "I'm gonna get!" Ryan ran to his original body and pulled out his phone from his pocket. He put the phone up and unlocked it with his baby fingers, "One of the greatest challenges ever".

Jordan watched Ryan use his phone and raised an eyebrow. "Wow... That must be pure talent." She muttered, still debating if she should stay or go. She looked over at Nico and smiled softly.

"Alright guys time to get back to the room" Ryan said then looked at Jordan. "Have you thought about a country you might want to visit yet? I have no ideas right now" He looked around. Bella approached Jordan, "Hey, sorry about that. I just knew that Nico liked emotion swings...I got too caught up with the competition". "Dah..." Nico said looking at the ground. "Would someone do the kindest favor ever as to carry me back to the room?" Ryan asked in a polite tone getting tired of walking around with Nico's chubby baby legs.

Jordan thought about Ryan's first question, unsure of where she'd want to go. Then she looked at Bella and smiled softly, "It's okay, I understand. I probably would've acted the same if it were my little sister." She ruffled Nico's hair, smiling at him, then grinned at Ryan. "Let me help you with that." She picked him, "You're so adorable in Nico's body!" She laughed softly, and started walking back.

"...Am I not adorable in my own body?" Ryan asked raising an eyebrow. Bella smiled at Jordan response and began walking back with Nico. Nico was easily being led by his sister since he was able to catch a glimpse of a new distraction....a squirrel. Look at it run! Run to..teachers? The squirrel ran to Martin and Edward who stood there staring at it. "I'm scared man" Martin said turning to Edward.

Jordan both smirked and glared at Ryan in her arms and shook her head, holding back a laugh, "You're so lucky you're in Nico's body right now..." She glanced over at Nico curiously wondering what he was looking at. "However... Nico is quite adorable in your body as well." She looked back at Ryan, raising an eyebrow, "Does that answer your question?" She never caught what Nico had. The teachers.

Ryan's baby hands clung to his head, "I'm so confused...". He squeezed his cheeks gently, "..And kind of offended". His baby body shifted around in her arms, "Do you know how weird this feels?" Ryan leaned back on her arms to look up at the sky, "And with this weird feeling comes your offense oh Juliet!" He put his forearm to his forehead then glanced at her.

Jordan laughed, "You have no idea how weird it is to see a baby saying that!" She rolled her eyes "And for your information, I called Nico in your body adorable, and he basically looks the same way as you in your body. Therefore I called you adorable." She shook her head grinning, "Clueless. I swear, boys are clueless."

Ryan gave a surprised look at Jordan. Wow, she was actually straight forward saying that...well kind of. He responded, "Oh thank you". The baby patted Jordan's cheek, "Eh you're not too bad yourself Juliet". Ryan laughed and put one of his baby arms around her while he let his other arm fist pump in the air, "Forward yo! I want my body back!...please". "By the way, that was really confusing! Boys aren't clueless!" Ryan added.

Jordan blushed softly from his first remark, and laughed from his little fist pump. Then rolled her eyes, "Please. Boys are so clueless Ryan. That really wasn't that confusing. Nico is adorable in your body. How is that confusing!?" She questioned in laughter. She was slightly surprised herself at how she was going about this situation, but found it entertaining, so why not?

"Okay I get it! I'm adorable!" Ryan smiled. "It was confusing because I thought you meant that my body was adorable only when Nico took control of it" He clarified. "You need to explain too. What do girls think that guys are clueless of?" Ryan decided to ask the question while he had the chance. There were some questions that he needed to know straight from a source!

Jordan laughed from his words then looked at him, thinking about his question. "... First of all... Do you have any idea how weird it is to see that question coming from a baby's mouth?" She asked stalling for time. "And you guys are clueless from any little hints a girl puts out. We have to be completely straight forward for a guy to understand. It's like you're all so unobservant or something! I don't know!" she laughed, ranting slightly.

Ryan raised an eyebrow, "Little..hints?" He was one of those guys who really had no experience in that field she was talking about. "Jordan talking about this is like me reciting the amendments!" Ryan looked around. "A bird! Look at it Nico! Look at it!" He yelled laughing as Nico stared at the bird at Ryan's command. Ryan turned his attention back to Jordan, "Little hints like 'Hey let's solve this math problem! 25 times 25 is...a three digit number that ends in five'. Like that?"

She grinned from Nico then Jordan rolled her eyes from Ryan's words and sighed, "My point exactly..." She entered the boy's dorm hall, and continued making her way to Ryan and Seth's room. "Little hints like... For example, and example only, when a girl likes you, she'll probably find excuses to talk to you or something. And yet, the guy won't even realize it's because she likes him half the time. Not to mention there's so many actions, or expressions a girl makes when she likes a guy and he won't notice them either. Plus, even some things a girl says should make it obvious, but guys are so ignorant, they never notice..." She shrugged slightly.

"Okay I see now" Ryan said learning a lesson from Jordan. He looked over her shoulder at Bella who was pulling Ryan's shirt down, "No Nico just wait until we get back to the room okay? Wait till you get back to your body! Then, you can take your onesie off! Diaper on though!" "...ah!" Nico complained trying to lift the shirt up and away from Bella. "Um...don't turn around okay?" Ryan laughed nervously. His mind switched back to their topic. Was it possible that girls could be clueless about that stuff too?

Jordan raised her eyebrows, but complied. She thought about what she heard in the background and understood. "Oh Nico..." She sighed and laughed softly. Then she looked down at Ryan and bit her lip, "What are you thinking about...?"

Ryan thought for a moment, "If girls could be clueless too. Or is it just guys?" He looked at Jordan then glanced at Bella jogging over to the bedroom door and opening it. "You guys are here! Great!" Seth's voice could be heard from the inside of the room. "Yes! Time to switch back!" Ryan cheered smiling then looking at Nico who was messing up his hair.

Jordan's eyes narrowed from his question. Of course girls could be clueless as well, but how could she admit that now after lecturing Ryan on how clueless guys were. She gladly welcomed the distraction from the question once they reached Ryan and Seth's dorm. She entered the room and set Ryan gently on his bed then stepped to the side of the room to make sure not to get in the way. She pretended to have Ryan's question slip her mind, and she glanced at Nico smiling softly, amused from him.

Dark thoughts continued to swirl and fog Dexter's mind while on Alec. His eyelids dropped slightly in annoyance and he furrowed his eyebrows at a past memory that he had. He knew better than to bring it up, but he was feeling petty and agitated at the moment. "Dump me? You already did that remember?" Dexter snapped in hushed voiced to not attract attention to anyone who may have heard them. Dexter hadn't meant to say that, but it was half-true. He chose to not discuss the comment any further; he was going to ignore Alec regardless if he had anything to say. He sat in tense silence as they traversed the area, him leaning slightly forward to relax his muscles. He really was exhausted but decided to keep it to himself until they finished their job.

'What are you talking about?' Alec asked as he paused for a moment to check out a small clearing. He felt like they weren't getting any closer. Hara must've been traveling as fast as he could. And they couldn't stay out the whole night either; someone would come to check on them if they didn't show up for class. And how would they explain where they had been? Although no one had told them not to go into the forest this far, Alec knew the principal would be angry with the risks they were taking.

Dexter observed the opening when Alec stopped. He promptly ignored the question, but feeling an uncomfortable restriction in his chest by doing so. He felt it best to not expound upon the statement, quickly regretting that he even said anything. Once upon a time, Dexter had met Alec at this school and had known him since he started 'high school' here. Before that however Dexter was having trouble making friends because of his powers and because of his snobby and authoritative attitude, he was distanced from everyone else, despite being in a place where he could be himself. His cruel and selfish actions at those who wronged him ended up biting him in the butt in the end. Dexter was left alone and disliked with a giant hole in his heart; he tried to fill it when he became good friends with Alec. But he wasn't brave enough to admit this, and thus he failed. He had moved on at that point and had decided to not ruin the only friendship that ever had meaning to him. Then the whole thing with the ungifted happened and that solidified their loyalty to each other ever since. Theses memories were all flooding his mind all at once, him wincing at some of the more painful ones. The excruciating pain began again, but he didn't want to let Alec know, he patted him lightly on his head. "I think it's best we go at this point, maybe we'll have better luck when everyone else is with us. Sometimes there's things that are out of your control." He said gently, biting his lips violently as the pain intensified at a slower pace.

Ryder nodded in agreement, glancing at their surrounded uninterestedly. 'I second that. I don't want Dex pissing himself in my clothes, either.' Snickering, the partial shifter turned back to human and stretched, the shirt with open sides he had thrown on before mildly stretched from shifting. "I could use a couple drinks right now," he muttered.
