Fantasy Supernatural Teenage Drama

Jordan walked with Dex, Eric, and Lisa down to the forest. As they made their way she grinned seeing Ryan already there with all the supplies. "Way too fast..." She muttered. She stopped beside him and looked at all the supplies, "Are you sure you're power is speed? Because I'm pretty sure it might be teleporting like Martin's." She smirked softly.

Ryan looked at Jordan, "I'm sure it is...". He shifted his gaze to the rest of them, "Can everyone please put their arms up to make a "T"?" Ryan lifted his arms to the sides to show them how to stand. He quickly got measuring tape then ran back to the group, "Don't worry I won't touch you in places. I'm just going to measure here for suits, all except for Eric obviously".

Dexter winced at the intensity of the sunlight beaming through the trees. It was a good thing the trees had larger bushes the size of a manta ray. Lisa kept giving him funny looks from time to time as they walked. "Sorry, you can't take a picture." he said with a fake apologetic tone. She snarled and stuck her tongue out at him. "Not that either, love." he smirked. Dexter looked at the area around him in disbelief; it would've taken days to get all of this stuff here. He shrugged it off, paying more attention to the conversation. Dexter's expression reverted back to one of discomfort at the notion of being measured by Ryan. He did as he was told, concluding that it couldn't be helped.

Jordan lifted her arms, and raised her eyebrows, muttering, "Scary that you have to clarify that..." She smirked softly, letting him measure her. Lisa glared at Dex from his words, and turned away. She eyed Ryan, not trusting him, but held her arms out nonetheless.

Ryan rapidly measured them and returned with suits in the blink of an eye. "Here you go" He said handing each of them suits. Ryan dashed for snowboards and returned with them laying them down on the ground. Eric was looking over the supplies, "Alright, everything's check! Hey Ryan mind following these blueprints?" Ryan walked over to Eric and nodded. He quickly built the halfpipe leaving only the painting materials and the giant poster board a short distance away. "Freeze it up Icy" Ryan said taking a break from his running.

Dexter held his breath, but he only did so for a few seconds before Ryan returned with suits and snowboards in hand. He wondered how he was able to process all of this in a matter of seconds, time must have felt incredibly slow for him. If that was the case, he put things in perspective. He observed the half-pipe building process, still in awe. He was a little discouraged at not being able to do anything at the moment. He looked over at the poster board, visualizing what he could come up with.

Eric blasted snow around them, "Woo!" Ryan shivered. It was as if they were in a snowy forest in another country when they were really only in a snowy section of a forest. He rapidly wore his suit and climbed up the halfpipe. Eric looked at Ryan, "What if we add some...stuff?" Ryan was already about 22 feet high on the halfpipe, "Later! Let me test this out first yeah?" He put the snow goggles on his face then dipped down into the halfpipe. Ryan rode down while doing a few tricks and finally stopping at the end, "Who wants to try it next?"

"Oh HELLL NO!" Dexter shouted, making a break for it out of the snows vicinity, his legs moving like bicycle wheels with his scarf slapping him in the face. He felt the cold rush up to him from behind, his bare shins suffocating against the numbing cold. He hugged onto the nearest tree he could find and began climbing his way up in a jittery mess. Looking behind him he saw the entire area covered deep in snow. "WARN us next time you pull something like that!..... oh yeah you did." he shouted back at Eric from quite a distance away. He finally let go, stomping his way down to the opening to find his snowsuit.

Jordan laughed from Dexter's reaction and shivered slightly in the snow. Lisa scowled, "What a wimp." She stated, then looked at Eric, "I like your power a lot. I think it's terrific." Jordan grinned slightly from Lisa, still amused by how head over heels she was for Eric. Jordan looked at Ryan, "I'd go, but I really have no idea how to start..." She bit her lip and smiled softly.

Ryan laughed at Dexter, "You want to go first? I can help you if you want". Without waiting for a reply, Ryan used his speed and carried Dex up to the 22 feet high deck. He shifted his gaze to Jordan and carried her up there as well, "Alright...Eric can you bring Lisa up here please?" Eric nodded from below, "Sure thing!" Ryan smiled at Dexter and Jordan, "This is going to be fun".

Lisa had blushed when Eric helped her get up. Jordan looked at Ryan nervously, "You still think that neither of us are going to be the ones falling on our faces?" She asked referring to Dex and her.

"I found out there are several ways on how to teach people how to snowboard halfpipe. Well, this is my way" Ryan locked Jordan's feet onto her snowboard. "Don't worry Dex you'll be next...because this one won't stop doubting her natural skills" Ryan said. "You won't fall because I'll be right next to you the whole time" He smiled moving Jordan and her board to the edge of the halfpipe. Ryan tilted her off of the edge, "Bend your knees a little!" He put his hands on her waist and ran by the board with his speed so that she wouldn't lose balance.

Jordan's eyes widened, and she bent her knees slightly. She yelped softly when the board went off the edge, then she started laughing as she went. She was surprised to actually successfully snowboard, but wasn't quite confident she could do it alone yet. Lisa watched with a slight glare. Jordan grinned more, "This is fun!"

Ryan laughed then helped her push off of the pipe. He used some of his strength so that they could go up in the air. Ryan spun Jordan around a few times then helped her land back down safely. He was able to guide her the rest of the way until the snowboard halfpipe ride ended, "Told you so" Ryan said smiling.

Jordan laughed and looked at him happily, "Yes, you told me so. I believe you now." She grinned at Dexter, "You have to give it a try." Lisa scowled, "You think you're all professional now, don't you?" Jordan raised an eyebrow, "No, of course not." Lisa smirked, "Do you think you could go alone? Without his help?" Jordan glanced at Ryan and bit her lip, "I don't know. Maybe." "I dare you to try." Lisa challenged. Jordan looked away, "Maybe after everyone else gets a turn." She looked at Dex meaningfully. "You really should try." She said a little less enthusiastically.

Ryan looked at Lisa and raised an eyebrow, "I think you should try with no one's help. You seem pretty confident". He smiled a little and locked Lisa feet in on her snowboard. "If you were listening and watching us, then you should be fine Lisa Minelli..fine" Ryan added moving her to the edge of the halfpipe.

Jordan watched Ryan get her set up, and she could feel fear go through her. She grinned softly knowing Lisa was scared. Lisa's eyes widened, but she didn't want to show her fear in front of Eric. She looked at Ryan angry as he forced her to the edge, "I bet I can... But if I do slip... Use your speed to catch me. Please." She really didn't know if she could, and she hoped using 'manners' would save her from getting hurt. Jordan crossed her arms and observed her. Lisa went over the edge and bent her legs, panicked, as she started the ride.

Ryan lied down on his side at the edge of the halfpipe. His elbow was against the halfpipe, hand against his head, and other hand playing with the snow. He watched Lisa ride down the halfpipe. Yes, he would rush to her just in case he saw that she was on the verge of face planting into the snow.

Lisa nearly slipped on the ride, but she managed to catch her balance and she pushed off the pole going back and finished the ride. The whole ride wasn't very graceful itself, but she stayed upright. She slipped at the end, getting of, but didn't get hurt and looked up at Ryan and Jordan, "See? I could do it. Now I'd love to see one 0f them try." She gestured to Jordan and Dexter. Jordan felt a little more confident and inwardly debated whether she should or shouldn't.

Ryan looked at Jordan, "Jordan can do it without my help. If she falls though, I'll catch her...you can do it Jordan". His gaze shifted to Eric who seemed to be creating another blue print for something else.

Jordan smiled softly, "Okay... I'll give it a try." She shifted back towards the edge, and bit her lip nervously. It would've probably been easier if she wasn't under Lisa's scrutiny and criticism. Lisa was watching her every move, with a glare, like a hawk. With a deep breath Jordan pushed off the edge and bent her legs and started to go. Lisa watched her with a large amount of focus. Jordan was actually doing pretty well. Jealous, Lisa squinted her eyes and forced Jordan's legs to slip out underneath her. Jordan gasped, surprised and started to fall.

Ryan dashed over to Jordan and caught her in his arms. He lost his balance because he slipped on some snow then fell onto his back still holding onto her so she didn't keep snowballing. Eric looked up from his blue print at the situation, "Woah! Are you guys okay?..at least you stopped her from falling all the way through". Ryan breathed out cold air, "...wow". His back was against the cold snow making him shiver.

Aaron sits down in the hallway alone staring at wall with her legs up to her chest holding in her tears biting her lip shaking her head trying to get the thought out of her head. Her mother had committed suicide a couple days ago and doesn't know how to respond that's why she has been gone for two days. "its my fault i wasn't there" she whispered quietly crying as tears streamed down her cheeks and soaking her shirt along with makeup.

Jordan fell into Ryan's arms and flushed heavily, embarrassed. "Thanks Ryan..." She muttered quietly Suddenly she heard Lisa trying to hold back laughter, and her eyes flashed to her. She willed herself to read Lisa's thoughts and knew it was her. Anger surged through her. "You!" Jordan tried to stand up, but slipped again, and shifted so she wouldn't hurt Ryan by landing on him. Lisa burst out laughing unable to hold it back anymore. Jordan eyes watered as she unhooked the snowboard off her feet and started to stand holding out a hand for Ryan as well. "Guess you weren't ready after all. That was just a little bit too clumsy." Lisa commented. Jordan bit her tongue trying to hold back the comments forming in her mouth.

Alec walked carefully out of the infirmary. The healer had finally recovered enough to help heal his arm. He still wasn't supposed to use it, so it was in a sling. He also still had the surface wounds from the bullets. But the pain was still at a manageable level.

Lost in thought, Alec wandered down the hallway. Bumping into someone, his head snapped up and he had a sharp comment at the tip of his tongue until he saw who it was. "Ditching again?" He asked Ryder.
