Fantasy Supernatural Teenage Drama

"Mr. G? When is this practice over?" Alec asked, cautiously approaching the professor. "It's been an hour." He was tired and aching by this point. He wanted nothing more than to check on Dexter and then sleep for about a week. That might be enough to balance the stress of the past two days.

"You, may leave if you please because you arrived thirty minutes before majority of the people have. Also, you read the introduction well so...you may leave if you must" Mr. G said. He already saw the pain he had caused Alec earlier that day. Really, it was unintentional. If Alec hadn't resisted, then he would have just laughed the whole time out of happiness.

Alec nodded silently and moved out of the room, letting the door swing closed behind him. Once in the infirmary, he sat down near Dexter to allow the nurse to check his stitches. After taking another dose of painkillers, he turned to his friend. "So. What happened to you?"

Ryder noticed a guy enter the infirmary, who instantly addressed Dexter and didn't even seem to notice he was there. "Just an educated guess, but are you Alec?" he asked the guy, noticing that his arm was wounded. Dexter had said that his friend was hurt in the woods, so it only took a bit of connecting the dots to figure out who he was.

"Yeah, that's me. Who are you?" Alec asked, just now noticing the guy sitting next to his friend. He looked vaguely familiar, but Alec didn't know him. Glancing around the room, he noticed the ungifted man was still there and his eyes narrowed.

"12 hours?" Rob whistled, "let's go eat." He looked at Mr.G and called out, "sir, Miuana hasn't eaten yet, and her muse needs good." Rob put his hand on her back and quickly walked out with her before he could respond. "So uh, your eye hurts? Why is it colored cause that looks awful... No offense."

Dexter's eyebrow raised at one of the statements Ryder had made. He wanted to ask more about his blackmail when he made a statement that sparked another witty remark, but he was reluctant do so. He did it anyway."No.. I'M a d*** demon." he corrected matter-of-factually with a wink; he chuckled deeply. "So you've actually killed someone? Was it from that altercation in the woods everyone is afraid of talking about?" He had sat up from the end of the bed and had laid on his belly on the other end so that he'd be closer to Ryder. He spoke in a low tone as he voiced this.

"
He is a kinsman to the Montague; affection makes him false; he speaks not true:..." Marceline stated quickly in character. She curtsied to signal the end of her lines. She listened to Ryan suggest that she practice with her another time. The smile she always plastered on her face began to falter slightly, but she quickly replaced with an even brighter grin. "Another time then." she said with a hint of disappointment in her voice. She thought of erasing their memories of her ever being present, but she decided to wait until after the play was over. For now she transitioned herself so that she'd be invisible to the eye, she was able to walk past them, they instinctively moved out of her way, as was the case of traveling in such a state. People didn't know she was there when she was invisible, but they still moved out her way whenever she walked by, it was odd to those unfamiliar with the paranormal. Both Ryan and Jordan resumed their practice as Marceline watched from afar.

Ryder nodded in response, not sure what else there was to say about it. "Yeah, I was taking out some stragglers. One of them bled out." He shrugged and turned back to Alec. "Ryder. I'm the guy with the evolution power you met in the woods." He chuckled, rubbing his neck. "I just now remembered that. You were a huge a** wolf."

Miuna let herself be pushed out of the room, just barely catching a glimpse of the girl from before on her way out. "It's not bad. I don't know why it's like that, but it's alright. Don't worry about it." In truth, her vision from that eye was bathed in red, but it was tolerable. "What are we going to eat? You promised me cookie cake."

Jordan bit her lip feeling the girl's disappointment, and watched her as she walked away. Then she glanced at Ryan, "Thanks, and sorry. I have a hard time saying no, sometimes." She rolled her eyes softly at herself, and wondered curiously about the girl. "I wonder who that was... I never seen before. Have you?" She asked him.

"Oh, yeah, I remember you now." He nodded. "The silver wolf, yeah. Hey, have you heard what they're doing with the ungifted human here? Like when he's being moved out of here?" he asked, gesturing towards the unconscious man at the end of the room. He was slightly agitated now, even though, logically, he wasn't in any danger from the ungifted human.

"Well... If we can find you sun glasses I'm sure we can sneak to the mall in town. That's the only place I know that has them. Unless your other friends can make it appear for is." He moved his hand to his side and smiled at Miuna

Ryder shuffled a bit, straightening his posture. "Er, not really, but..." He leaned closer to Alec, keeping his words just above a whisper. "I overheard the nurse on the phone while I was waiting for Dex to wake up. They're not letting him go anytime soon. They're gonna interrogate him or something. She seemed really upset by it. That's all I could pick up on." Ryder ran a hand through his hair before slipping his beanie on. "I just want him outta here, you know?"

Miuna retrieved a white eye patch from her purse. "Will this work?" She slipped it on, adjusting it so the rectangular patch nestled comfortably against her pained socket. "I keep this in my purse in case the spirits start to scare me. This is my first time using it in three years."

Alec let out a long breath. "The longer we keep him here, the more likely someone is to notice he's missing. And that could draw all of them here." His eyes flashed. "They can't seriously be doing this. Maybe we can talk to the principal and change his mind about it."

"You look like on of the assassins from Kill Bill, but it works." He was trying to keep the mood light. "Well, let's go get that delicious cake?" He smiled a little, "so uh... First though I need to change." Rob was still in costume.

Mr. G nodded at Rob since he was fine with his acting anyway. Ryan shook his head then looked at Jordan, "...so first Romeo and Juliet scene?" He suddenly remembered about the discs, "Or maybe we can watch the discs first? Just to get an idea?" The teen spun the disc in his hand while he waited for Jordan to reply.

"Oh, yeah." Miuna giggled and poked his abdomen, eyes widening when she felt his muscle. "Whoa. You're strong." Patting his abdomen a couple more times, she lightly shoved him in the direction of the rehearsal room. "Hurry. I'm hungry."

"The principal, huh?" Ryder mulled over, thinking aloud. "I wonder if he was here last night. He doesn't stay long on campus. I heard he goes to a ton of council meetings and lame shiz like that." He leaned back in his chair again. "You're right, though. They need to wipe his memory and release him already. We're all at risk here."

Jordan smiled softly and nodded, "Yeah we can watch the discs. That could help." She felt a little more relaxed than before, but was still nervous. Mr. G seemed pretty dead set on keeping the scene, so either she'd have to suck it up about it being her first kiss, or go get one soon before they had to practice it. Both options made her inwardly groan.

"I'm sure he's back if the decision's been made to keep him here. Security and all." He stood up and shifted his weight restlessly. "I'm gonna go ask him to at least relocate the man until they can transfer him to a hospital. You want to come?" He offered, already walking towards the door.

Dexter's face lit up as Alec walked in. "Why thank you for coming to see me buddy, yeah?" he frowned as they began talking about what happened yesterday. "I missed out on a lot apparently." Dexter muttered, clearly affected by Alec's agitation. He listened to the conversation carefully, still sensing Alec's familiar tenseness. He decided to chime in this time. "Oh please, what are the chances that they are going to care what happens to one guy when we hurt and killed a whole bunch of em' yesterday?" he replied dismissal of the whole situation. "And hey! Don't leave me alone here!" he protested.

Rob blushed when Miuna complimented him and walked back in to change quickly. After he had changed he looked over and saw the faces on Ryan and Jordan, he felt relief and walked back to Miuna, feeling happy. "Let's go get that cake my friend!"

Jackie was pacing the room, memorising her lines and making hand gestures. This was actually pretty fun, she had to admit. But she had already been here for more than an hour, and she wanted to leave. She went up to Mr. G. "Is it alright if I go?" she asked him tentatively.

Ryder gave Dexter a glance before standing. "Yeah. I've been sitting for two hours. Sorry, Dex. I'll be back in a jiff." Pocketing his phone that was on the sidetable, the teen jogged after Alec, casting one last worried look back towards Dexter. He still wasn't alright, and Ryder felt a pang of guilt for leaving him.

Miuna held onto the hem of Rob's shirt and let him pull her along, as she had no clue where the mall was. Though she had lived there her whole life, she normally let her spirits guide her everywhere. "I can drive," she offered, "but we'll die early deaths if I do. Maybe we should walk."

Alec sighed and walked back over to his friend. "Don't worry, I'll come right back. I promise." He patted his friend's shoulder. "Like ten minutes."

As he walked down the hallway with Ryder, he asked, "Aren't you kinda like a partial shifter?" He hadn't encountered a gifted human with powers like Ryder's before and he was curious about them.

Mr. G looked at Jackie, "Ah yes, you were one of the early ones. You may leave". Ryan put the disc in and watched the television switch to the first scene. Mr. G saw Ryan and Jordan beginning to watch the disc. The teacher got ready to snap some romance into them just in case they had that sudden urge to quit after watching it.

"It's not to far of a walk... 6 miles or so." He smiled to her, "I use to ride my bike down and back...hmmm I wish we had a car to get us down there, it would be much easier." He shrugged, " oh well , guess our date will be longer." He winked as he joked.
