Lol. She was honestly just panicking at that point. She thought if Chase managed to hurt the angel, the angel would go from maybe killing everyone to definitely killing everyone. Not great under pressure.

Then blame the group that was there (Will and Eli?) for making the angel out to be murderous, and having pulled out her blade and doing the slow killer walk towards the pregnant blonde. Chase was going off the little info he was given in the moment and acting on it, they were afraid so he acted accordingly. He's a wolf, call it pack instinct to attack danger encroaching on the people he'd prefer to protect.

I'll have you know Gaveel arrived not ten minutes later and did the exact thing that "murdery" angel was about to do.
Also: murdery angel was then murdered.

Murdery angel defied Gaveel and did her threatening blade-brandishing stuffs to people who had reason to believe they were there to kill Ash and Liam. Hard to cry foul for people assuming she was a threat =P
