Pan nodded, " Be safe Jasmine." The wild God told his companion as he watched her go over to the Colony. He knew she would be fine, not because of his presence, but because of her own abilities. She was about as willful as a human that was for sure. Sometimes he wished she wasn't, but it was part of her charm.

Pan gestured to the wolves, and they all took a much more relaxed posture. They would milk about around him, but wouldn't travel too far away.

The roots had completed a vast network underneath the colony at this point. Hiding under the earth they would serve as Pans ears within the colony, connecting to any plant already present in the colony and turning it into his listening device.

Pan himself yawned and began to play on his pipes. This time he infused his power into the folky song he played. It wasn't much as he didn't want anything drastic to happen immediately. Just enough to screw with those in ear shot.

Alaric stared at her for a moment, genuine pity appearing in his eyes. She actually was a die hard Christian! He felt bad for her now and sighed, but just as he was about to say something to her, she took off. He quickly followed after her. "Hey, wait, I-" he was cut off as they reached Elijah and Brendan. He chuckled and waved at Elijah and Brendan. Then Elijah announced he was the Alpha. "Well, definitely a better choice to go with than William, given what Pan's trial is probably going to be. He's not a lenient God," he says and glances at Ashley. "And you and I should really finish that conversation we were having," he said with a pitying look and frown.

Aurora walked over and helped Chase sit down if needed, then proceeded to sit down herself. "Definitely nice housing for a colony," she says, then William walked in, going on about something, then introduced himself. "Aurora, it's a pleasure to meet you," she says smiling softly at him, then she realized she couldn't really comment on anything and made her way out to the porch and leaned against the wall.

emilia_by_riief-da79vbr.jpg

Jasmine floated over the colony walls and actually landed next to Elijah and looked him up and down, then smiled. "You're definitely a better choice for Alpha than the last guy you sent out," she comments with a brilliant smile, as though she wasn't aware how bad she just bashed William, or cared for that matter. "It's a pleasure to meet you, I am Jasmine," she says to mostly Elijah, but she nodded at everyone in the circle, and actually stared at Alaric for a moment before continuing to Ashley, then looking back to Elijah.

Both Mackenzie and William both asked about his injury, he'd given it a little thought on the way here about a cover. "Yeah, I'll be fine. Just caught a little debris when the building collapsed in New York is all." He had to make it seem smaller than it was, he healed faster and they might question it. Once he was seated on the couch he let out a relieved sigh, watching Aurora go back to the front porch. "That mission could have gone better, if Hypnos hadn't decided to screw us in the end." Elijah and Alaric had left to help take care of what was going on, and admittedly Chase's curiosity was getting the better of him. But being near the Oracle was necessary, "You guys make out alright?"

William nodded at Chase's explanation. "I'd like to take a look at that later. Let me or Ash know if the pain gets any worse, or if you notice any additional swelling," he said, the medic in him taking over. "As for us..." he hesitated, briefly, eyes flicking to the ground. "We're alive. That's what matters," he said flatly. He wasn't prepared to relive that again so soon.

Surprised at the sound of another voice, Eli turned, frowning at Jasmine's comment and the implication about William. He was opening his mouth to reply when he lost his train of thought, that warm sensation returning again, with even more intensity. In the back of his mind, he became aware of a distant tune that seemed to drift in with the wind, but paid it no heed. He found his eyes looking up and down the strange woman's form with obvious appraisal... and none of his usual subtlety.

Catching himself, he shook his head lightly in a vain attempt to clear it. What was going on with him? This was more than mere nerves. Attempting to regain his composure, he looked up at Jasmine. "Who are you, exactly? And where did you show up from?" he asked, doing his best to maintain eye contact.

Ashley frowned at Elijah's answer, it certainly was not what she had expected to happen, but she wasn't surprised. She watched Jasmine's approach eyeing the creature carefully. The man seemed more than enamored with the ... thing he was speaking with. She found it odd, given she'd never seen it before, but she left the man to his own devices.

She glanced to Sibéal as she spoke about being a medic, 'Well, I had no idea. We'll have lots to talk about, but that drink I offered earlier might have to wait-" She was interrupted by Alaric having followed her back to the wall. She was frowning once more. "I don't personally need nor want to talk about how God is flawed, thank you." She had little interest in hearing out Alaric's views on her beliefs. They were hers regardless of what knowledge he may have.

Mackenzie certainly didn't like the sound of William's reply. If the god hadn't been handled, how was it Eli was going to deal with him instead? She thought for a moment that it might take the Oracle to deal with, but she knew Will would have already told her if that were the case, or so she hoped.

She gave an annoyed sigh in response to Chase's statement, watching Aurora leave she shuffled back to the chair. "Screwed is an understatement." She muttered as she came to rest, wincing. She couldn't help but feel guilt at what happened in New York: she had been the gods messenger and she'd failed to keep her party safe.

"Sorry," She said to Chase, unwilling to go into details, she at least owed him a partial explanation. "Hypnos made me his Oracle." She had no doubt Will would want her to keep silent, but the man was injured because of what she did, or didn't do, in this case. "He sent me a vision, and I thought I could stop them. It's my fault you were hurt," and Will.

As she heard the girl mention that she would have to wait for the drink she was promised, she simply smiled and nodded, "Not a problem..." Sitting there, she waited for whatever amount of hell that was to come.

(Sorry, this post is annoyingly short. I currently have practically nothing else to do at the moment.)

It's probably a good thing Chase hadn't been drinking anything when Will said he'd take a look later, or he might have spit in surprise. "No worries, it'll be fine." Will would surely know the difference between debris and a bullet wound so Chase made a note to avoid that interaction. After Will answered his question Chase couldn't help but notice that the two of them looked rather drained, and not really making eye contact much. Something had clearly happened, though Chase couldn't fathom what considering he assumed William was in the parking lot with them back in New York and Mackenzie was near the building the last time he'd seen her. It was admittedly a little awkward being in the room alone with the two of them.

When Mac apologized Chase raised an eyebrow in her direction, "I don't recall you shoving me through that door. I made that conscious decision to go inside the moment we had people missing, that's not on you." While the story was a slight cover for the injury it would have led to his injury anyways so it was only a partial cover in that sense. The further he spoke on the subject the more he wanted Hypnos to be there so he could just swing at him. "Oracle or not that wasn't your fault. Hypnos used us, and the moment he could take things into his own hands he did, and he didn't care if we got caught in the middle of it." Chase snorted as he crossed his arms over his chest, back resting against the couch. Still, he wondered how Mac being an Oracle was effecting him, if it even was. For some reason it was a concept he couldn't quite fathom.

William's eyes narrowed on Mackenzie following her reply. He wasn't naive enough to think that what he'd said to hear earlier would be enough to dismiss the guilt she felt now -- just as he wouldn't be forgiving himself for nearly killing her -- but he still didn't like seeing Mac put herself through this. He was considering his reply when Chase spoke up. Will nodded gratefully, his posture straightening. "Chase is right. What happened in New York is on Hypnos. Hell, he said so himself."

Will sighed lightly, taking several measured steps forward, but stopping short. His tone was quieter now, but no less firm. "You may be an Oracle now, Mac, but you're still just a human, doing the best you can... like any of us. You have enough burdens to carry as it is... don't start carrying the actions of gods."

Mackenzie listened to Chase dismiss her apology, while she appreciated the kindness behind it, she was well aware of her hand in what had happened. She may not have been the direct cause of their injuries, or the death of the innocents within the building but she certainly played her part. "I need to do better." She said carefully, not wanting to draw an argument from either of them. She didn't want sympathy for the position she put herself into. She was impulsive, had always been this way, and she always paid the price for it. This was no different.

Hand slipped into the pocket of her jacket, finger tips curling around the bronze chain within. She pushed herself up from the chair unsteadily. "I think I need to lay down." There was a lot to consider, and she needed to clear her head before she made any assumptions. She knew Hypnos had a way of understanding her thoughts, maybe not directly knowing them, but at the very least the god seemed aware of her intentions. The last thing she needed was to come up with a plan and have the god step in and foil it.

She moved back towards the hall, towards her and Ashley's room, passing William as she did so. Though as she moved by him she slowed ever so slightly, leaning in enough to brush her arm against his own, fingers tips wrapping around his hand to give a gentle squeeze before she released his hand and carried on wards. This was new for them, for her. Never being one for PDA, she liked the idea of ... whatever it was they had, being personal.

Alaric looked at Ashley with a frown. "That actually isn't what I wanted to talk to you about," he said simply as he looked at the others in their group, then to Jasmine, who floated in. He raised an eyebrow. "Well, that explains the wind magic," he remarks simply.

640ea93a-8681-4391-9408-3c794419f034_zpsl9r2k4qi.png

Aurora simply sat on the porch, listening to the goings on of the living room.

emilia_by_riief-da79vbr.jpg

Jasmine smiled brightly at Elijah and how he took notice of her. "I am Jasmine, I'm a Wind Nymph, also known as a Sylph," she says beaming, ignoring Alaric's side comment about the wind magic. "I've come to wish you luck as your colonies alpha," she says with a playful smirk as she looked Elijah up and down once more. He was definitely someone she could see knowing how to have a good time. "And I was wondering if you'd be interested in some post trial celebration? It's not all the time that Pan is awake and wanting to throw a trial, and when it does happen, there's usually a small celebration for it, you interested?" she asks with another bright smile.

Even with both Will and Chase both telling Mac it wasn't her fault it was clear she'd made up her mind on the matter. When she got up to leave for her room Chase caught sight of the small moment between the other two, he'd suspected as much with how they acted towards one another up til now. After she'd left Chase sat forwards on the couch, "I can go you know." He suspected they might want time to themselves and hadn't meant to step in on that. Despite saying it however he still felt the need to remain nearby due to her being an Oracle, the unconscious need to protect the woman as she was in a hurt state. Still, he wouldn't be far and William would be here, or so he assumed.

"The last thing I want to do is intrude. Especially considering.." Chase cleared his throat, "...how uh, odd you two are acting."
Safton Safton

William turned to watch Mackenzie as she made her way down the hall, before suddenly remembering Chase's presence. He quickly brought his attention back to the living room, hoping the man hadn't picked up on the moment, such as it was. Will didn't know the name for whatever they had, but he did know that it becoming common knowledge could cause more harm than good at the moment.

"I can go you know. The last thing I want to do is intrude. Especially considering... how uh, odd you two are acting."

So much for subtlety. Will sighed, shaking his head. "No, it's fine." He paused, not sure how to approach the subject and still keep up appearances. "I think both of us are just tired after New York is all." He turned toward Chase, narrowing his eyes slightly. "Still, I'd appreciate if you kept that to yourself. We don't need more of a crisis than we already have," Will said as nonchalantly as he could manage. He was hoping Chase would be able to read between the lines.

Elijah could feel his face reddening. He was flustered. He could hardly believe it; he was supposed to be the one who did the fluttering, not the other way around! Will had often jokingly chastised him for his "womanizing". Now here he was, scarcely able to form a complete sentence.

Luckily, Jasmine's (surprisingly casual) reminder that she was not, in fact, human helped him snap back to reality. Elijah had read about nymphs, and Jasmine had certainly lived up to the lore.

Elijah coughed, finally tearing his eyes away. "I appreciate the offer," he managed to say. "But I need to, ah, prepare." A pause, clearing his throat. "Yes, I need to do that. Nice meeting you."

With that, Elijah turned in his heel and began his retreat toward the Colony interior.

Mackenzie shuffled into the bedroom, any conversation prior to her leaving the living room was lost to her, far too focused on just making it to her destination. She eyed the bed in exhausted contemplation. She knew she would likely be far more comfortable if she changed out of the cloths she had been traipsing around in all day but she knew if she was needed in a hurry it was best not to waste time dressing.

In the end she wandered to the bed, very nearly collapsing diagonally across the over sized (to her) bed, feet dangling over the side, laying on her stomach to avoid annoying her already sore back any further. Hand clutched the bronze chains as she immediately fell asleep.

Ashley continued to frown at Alaric as he claimed to want to speak to her about something other than God. She hadn't thought that had been the case when she'd previously walked away from their conversation. "So what is it then?" She asked coolly. She watched with surprise as Elijah turned down the creature and honestly looked embarrassed. She never thought she'd see the day. He was making a dead line back into the colony. She knew there was only one place he would be headed, back to the house.

She turned to look at Sibéal, "You coming?" Before walking at slow pace back towards the house, telling Alaric. "Walk and talk, I need to check on Mac."

She looked at the stuff before her she'd prepped, "Am I not needed to-" she sighed and started packing her stuff up one piece after another, which; in all honesty, wasn't that much. It was just a medkit worth. Nevertheless, as she finished she stood and placed the, what looked like a small military duffle into her leather satchel, which, in size, didn't seem like it could hold that medkit. Though, most people tended not to think too much about it.

Slowly running over to the woman who had invited her to follow, she did. Curious, and wanting to get to know who and what she was dealing with in case the scenario ever came that the colony found out who or what she was capable of and demanded her to hang, or worse...

Alaric sighed when she said to walk and talk, instead he merely followed. It was going to be a long discussion, not one for a walk and talk conversation. "It can await," he said in annoyance as he followed after her in silence after that statement.

640ea93a-8681-4391-9408-3c794419f034_zpsl9r2k4qi.png

Aurora blinked, seeing everyone making a bee line for the house. "Um, lots of visitors, incoming," she called into the house, figuring some warning to Will and Mac wouldn't hurt. She made her way back into the house and sat down on the couch.

emilia_by_riief-da79vbr.jpg

"Awwww, you misunderstand!" Jasmine says following after Elijah. She had her sights on him, and wasn't going to lose interest so easily. "See, you can still participate in the celebration and be ready for tomorrow! Besides, you're the guest of honor, since it's your trial!" she says with cheerfulness. "And you wouldn't want to miss a celebration for you, would you?" she asked very seductively as she attempted to caress his arm and give him a wink. "And a strong man like you, doesn't look like he needs to do too much preparing anyway," she adds with a playful smirk.

Chase avoided eye contact with Will for the moment then nodded, "I'm not one to go blabbing things to others, you don't have to worry." Though he didn't exactly know what the big deal was, he wasn't going to talk on it further if Will didn't want to. Then came Aurora's voice from outside announcing visitors, of course Chase's mind assumed it was the others. But still, that slightly paranoid or cautious part of him had Chase turning on the couch so that he could peek through the blinds. Ya know, just to make sure there wasn't an angry mob coming for his head and all.

"Maybe coming here to take it easy hadn't been the best idea on my part." Letting the blind fall back down he turned back towards Will, "Do we stop them at the porch so we don't wake sleeping beauty?" He asked with a light smirk. At least if they were all out on the porch area it wouldn't be as loud.
Safton Safton

William nodded. "Might as well see what this is all about," he said. Will stepped outside onto the porch, noting the group of people approaching. He wasn't surprised; with the temporary conclusion of the crisis outside, he was expecting the others to regroup back at the house soon enough.

Alaric and Ashley were with the group, though Will didn't recognize the woman following the latter. He spotted Elijah walking with... Pan's servant? The one who had warned William outside. She was in the Colony now... Hendrix didn't think she was a threat, but her presence still concerned him.

If Elijah wasn't so anxious, he'd probably admire the nymph's persistence as she followed him, continuing to speak. Her caress on his arm brought that warm euphoria flooding back through him. "And a strong man like you, doesn't look like he needs to do too much preparing anyway."

He stopped in his tracks, turning to face Jasmine. "You know, I'm not usually on this side of shameless flattery." Eli paused, sighing deeply. "All right. Let's talk; you answer some of my questions, and I'll consider your, ah, 'celebration'. Deal?"

Ashley could not fathom what Alaric had to talk about that he couldn't just say, but clearly it didn't matter much since he decided to wait on it. As the drew closer to the house she could see William standing on the front porch. He looked exhausted, not that any of them were well rested, but he certainly looked like he was fighting a battle to stay awake.

She gave a slight pause and glance to Sibéal: the woman had mentioned being a medic. She nodded towards William, "He's part of the council, and was just on this last mission. He might be injured, I would suggest introducing yourself and seeing if you can help him. He'll need all the healers, and hunters he can get with the pack issue coming." Ashley hoped Sibéal was capable enough that she could earn a place on William's team. After all Mac had mentioned him wanted to recruit out of the civilians that had been displaced recently, she figured a bonafide hunter would be a better option.

As she came up the steps to the house she paused for a moment to speak to Will. "There's new hunter here, I told her to talk to you. I'm going to check on Mac." She didn't wait for a response; he wouldn't be able to give her one not to check on her partner. She stepped into the house, gave Chase a brief wave before heading into the bedroom.

Kyle rolled his eyes and left, grabbing another donut as he left. He walked through the shops, pointing out ones he knew sold things Alex would be interested in. Some had good food while others sold books, and a few had some good quality charms. Once they got to the edge, he stopped and scratched his nose. "Aaaaaand... this is about as far as I can guarantee that we won't get lost." He was kind of embarrassed to admit that he had really no sense of direction. If not for the signs of the shops, he would have been lost. It didn't help that he did get lost several times a week just in the shops. ((Sorry!!! It didn't notify me that you answered.))

Alaric actually followed Ashley. The stupid Oracle thing had him feeling like he had a scratch he couldn't itch, maybe this would help sate it. He noticed Aurora getting up to stop them and he got between Ashley and Aurora so Aurora couldn't bother Ashley on the way and shuffles her along a little fast into Mackenzie's bedroom.

640ea93a-8681-4391-9408-3c794419f034_zpsl9r2k4qi.png

Aurora watched as the red haired man from earlier and a woman she hadn't met walked into the house and was heading back for the bedrooms. How rude, they would end up waking up Mackenzie, she wasn't going to have it. She got up from the couch and headed towards them, only to be block by the red haired mans magic, a strange barrier she slammed into, as he got between her and the strange woman and shuffled her into Mackenzie's room faster.

emilia_by_riief-da79vbr.jpg

Jasmine let out a delighted laugh and wrapped both arms around his arm. "With pleasure handsome!" she says grinning at him quite happily as she allowed herself to be pulled, causing her legs to actually float into the air, and he would notice she was lighter than air, even her grip on his arm would be so light he almost wouldn't have known it was there except for seeing it there. "What would you like to know?" she asks curiously, her face resting on his shoulder innocently.

William wasn't exactly interested in keeping Ashley from seeing her partner, though he figured he should at least warn her. "Wait, Ash, she's--" Too late. The woman had passed through the threshold without hesitation. Aurora stepped forward block her, only to seemingly run into nothing, staggering backward as Alaric moved past. "...resting," Will finished quietly, eyes wide. He sighed, shaking his head.

Elijah did his best to hide his surprise at Jasmine's near-weightlessness. He shouldn't have been surprised, considering who -- what -- she was, but knowing and feeling were two different things. That was aside from the more obvious effects she was having on him, along with what Eli had come to expect was Pan's magic. Still, even knowing that his emotions and desires were being toyed with did nothing to dampen them. The best Eli could do was try to get through this little "interview" with some measure of dignity. Looking down at her face, perched on his shoulder, he managed an uneasy smile. "So, Jasmine. How long have you been in Pan's service?"

As she was directed towards William before completely stopping when he spoke the first part of his sentence. A look of fear filling her eyes as she instinctually grabbed the hilt of her knife casually. How had he figured out?

It wasn't much, but with the hidden abilities, she had along with that knife she might have just enough to get her outside of the walls, hopefully unscathed. Though, that was when she heard William finish his sentence "...Resting." her heart instantly skipped a beat as she let out a soft exhale of relief before approaching William, Sibéal's face flustered from the mini-heart attack she just suffered.

"I'm, uh. I'm not really great at introductions... Nevertheless! My name is Sibéal, and I am to assume you are Will? Is that short for William, or is it just Will?"

The way she talked, her voice was as smooth as silk with a faint Irish accent. Which, was unusual since she originated from Scottland, although, time allows new habits to develop. Her snake, Edda, once again peeking her head from the cowl that now looked more or less like a black scarf around her neck. With a soft flicker of the snake's blue tongue, she'd stare at him momentarily before dipping her head back under the cowl, hidden from sight.

Ashley gave a side long glance to an unknown woman who seemed intent on stopping her. The woman was ignored and Ashley was ushered along by Alaric. Typically she would have done this alone, after all her intent was to not only check on Macs state of mind but tend to previous and new injuries. Stepping into the bedroom she stifled a laugh seeing Mac sprawled across the bed seemingly without a care. She glanced to Alaric as he followed. "Close the door." None of this needed to be public knowledge.

Moving to the bed side she sat on the bed next to Mac, giving her partner a nudge to the shoulder. She received the reaction she expected, Mac gave a grumble of displeasure, eyes opening enough to see who it was before the woman turned and curled up on her side facing away from Ash. This may have put Will off of wanting to bother Mac but Ash had been exposed to far worse reactions from the smaller woman.

"Alright, angel, talk. Or is what you've got too say too private for even Mac to hear?" Ash tugged Macs coat off of her shoulders with no help from the resting Oracle. Tossing the coat aside she gently pulled up the back of her shirt to examine the sutures. Several had been pulled but none looked to have been bleeding. Bruising was still healing though some portions of her back had new bruises forming.

Satisfied no urgent care was needed she returned Macs shirt to it's rightful place, only then noting the dried blood on the back of her neck.

Mackenzie gave Ash another groan of protest as she felt Ash's hands pulling on her hair, touching a rather sore spot on her scalp. She heard a zipper opening then Ash's hand had her chin, forcing her to turn her head towards the medic. Eye lid was pulled open and Mac was blinded by light. "Piss off." She mutter, pushing the flashlight wielding hand away, expecting a fight and finding none. Instead she heard Ashley speak.

"Who did this to you?"

Mac frowned, eye opening to look at Ash in confusion but the other woman was looking at her, angry. She couldn't understand what Ash was talking about until she continued.

"Who put their hands on you."

Cold realisation settled in the pit of Mac's stomach as she came to understand Ashley's sudden rage. "I'm fine." but clearly that wasn't an acceptable answer as Ash was already starting to leave. "It happened in New York." Ash paused when she heard Mac speak. "One of the office employees was under Hypnos's dream, caught me off guard. Alaric stopped him before he ported us back here."

Will turned to the unfamiliar woman as she addressed him, giving her a friendly -- if a bit weary -- smile. "Hello, Sibéal," he remarked, struggling slightly to pronounce the name properly. "Yes, it's short for 'William', but you can call me what you li--" he paused as he saw the snake peek its head out from the woman's cowl, fixing its reptilian eyes on him before disappearing from sight. Hendrix cleared his throat. "Friend of yours, I take it?"

Alaric shot a slight glare at Mac. "I'm sworn to protect you, not lie to you so your partner won't go off the rails about something," he says moving in front of the door, blocking any exits to the room. He knew that Ashley would likely start freaking out before he could say everything, so he wasn't going to let her out until he'd said his peace. "She is lying about the causes, your friend Will, was under Hypnos's spell and attempted to kill her," he states. "However, I intervened before he succeeded, and we broke the spell, and he is safe and fine to be around now. He's deeply sorry for what he did, and has already apologized to Mackenzie plenty," he says simply, still barring the door from any onslaught that might come from Ashley.

Aurora ran outside to Will. "Hey, that Mackenzie girl is being disturbed by that red haired guy and that woman," she says flatly. "Wasn't she going in to sleep?" she asks.

emilia_by_riief-da79vbr.jpg

She chuckles as she wisps along with him, floating. "Oh, I'm not in his service. He's merely a God who takes an interest in Nymphs. I serve Dionysus!" she says cheerfully. "I merely keep Pan company," she says with a wink and knowing smirk. There's no way a man like Elijah wouldn't know what she was talking about with that sentence. "But tonight is about you, so what other questions do you have?" she asks grinning.
