The Scholar
Thor took a seat at the table, smiling at Adelaide as she complimented the beer, it was nice to see someone appreciate it. The Grand Cru was famous in Europe, and quite hard to come by. He heard Morgan comment on that she had never seen the ocean, and Adelaide's reply that they would have time to see it "Unless they've drastically changed since I last was in the area a few decades ago I can assure you that you will not be disappointed." He turned his eyes to Morgan, her remark about never having seen the ocean had raised his curiosity "I must admit though, this is one thing I've never really understood about you..." He wanted to say 'humans' but realised that wasn't strictly true when it came to her and opted to choose another word "... mortals, isn't it awfully limiting to be stuck in one place, stuck in one body? If you do not understand what I speak of... For gods, or at least for those not starved of power, our physical presence is merely an extension of our will, one that we don't even actually have to have unless we want to, we are where we choose to be, unless we are affected by some outside influence. Our conciousness stretches beyond the form we have assumed, whether it be a body or something else."
For all the time he had spent with humans he hadn't fully grasped it, for him the thought of being trapped in one body, unable to move at will seemed very strange. He had some experience with it while extremely weakened after the battle with the First Sin, and it had made him think of it in a way he hadn't before.
