William spared Clay a nod as the two of them helped Mackenzie to her feet. He didn't release his gentle grip on her arm as they made their way toward Franklin and the others. He didn't care if the Den Master saw them together. If anything, he was beginning to doubt the wisdom in leaving her alone with the vampires on the ground while he manned the wall. Will leaned in to whisper in Mac's ear, "You gonna be okay?"

Once they reached Franklin and Leech, William turned to look at the latter with a nod. "All of the preparations are accounted for on our end." He glanced up at the sky, the same space that would soon be filled with a full moon overhead. "Won't be long now," he murmured.

"And I'm good at it too, or so I'm told." He quipped with a rather stupid grin as she was walking away. At the door shutting he couldn't help the chuckle that followed, as he to started back around and slipped back inside the truck. Chase giving a curious look at Emile to see how the mans mood was by the look on his face, though he hazarded a guess that Morgan's uncle had heard their conversation. "Anything yet?" He asked in regards to the signal they were supposed to be given.

Mackenzie nodded to Will as he questioned her. "I'm fine." She attempted to reassure him but she felt her suspicions had been confirmed with Hypnos's vision, she was thankful now that she has forced Ash and Eli to leave the colony, the woman had been fighting to stay and she was certain if she had let Ash, Eli would have remained here too. This way it was two less people to worry about. As they approached the others Will remarked to Franklin and the vampire nodded but never removed his yes from her. She leaned into Will, standing on her toes to give him a gentle kiss before speaking. "I need to get going, I need to be ready." She held his hand tightly for a quiet movement, telling him again to be careful was pointless. "I'll see you later, Doc." Mac was certainly not one for goodbyes, certainly not when it came to those she cared for deeply. She parted from Will and turned towards Clay, her partner in crime for the evening.

Franklin watched the moment of affection between the two, his face impassive. He nodded to Clay as he and Skye headed back towards the REC center - he knew their plan was patrol the streets around where the majority of the civilians were holed up, clearing the streets of any stray wolves so that the people of the colony could keep mobile seamlessly. He knew Skye would never make it to her destination, the Oracle couldn't be conscious for the packs arrival this evening - she could trigger too many of the Nest and Pack into protecting her and that wasn't their goal at the end of this evening. He knew he could convince Skye to forgive him, even understand his reasoning behind his motives... Will was going to be another issue.

His silvery eyes trailed to the Councilmen that still stood with himself, Leech and Bart; the man despised him, it wasn't hard to see as Will kept it thinly veiled, though he couldn't blame the man given he certainly had no love for the one that kept Skye's heart. He glanced to the skyline as darkness started to fall before looking back to the three of them. "I'll stay with Bart," He looked to Leech, "You watch the Councilmen this evening, seems only fair since Skye is watching your mate."

Clay threw an arm over Mackenzie's shoulder as they made their way back into the colony deeper. "So... this vision, I take it things aren't going to go as planned this evening?" He knew what needed to be done and more hated the fact that he had been elected for the job. He understood the reasoning why. Franklin needing Skye to trust him after the fact, if she was ever going to rejoin the pack, nest and colony and their fight to keep the First Sin locked in the Abyss. Skye could read Leech like an open book, his mate had never been able to keep anything from her hunting partner of nearly a decade. Skye trusted him, he'd known her since their childhood. He was the only one that could get close enough to her. He glanced to her as she hadn't honestly answered him than more than a shrug. "It'll be fine Skye, you'll see. You trust me, right?"

Emile watched the younger man climb back into the truck, a rather bemused smile on his lips. Some how the hunters off color banter always managed to diffuse tense situations, and his and Morgan's near constant need to embarrass each other was a great source of entertainment. He had thought to comment on what Chase had proclaimed as he had, after all shouted it over the top of the truck, Emile doubted he and Morgan were not the only two to have heard it. "Nothing yet, you will know it when it come." He stated simply, glancing over his shoulder to the quiet Morgan. She didn't seem to be in the mood to talk just yet and he wasn't about to open those flood gates again.

"You feel the Oracle pull?" He asked Chase. "She call to us to come help her, keep her safe. It will get worse before it go away. That's when we go."

"I noticed." Chase told Emile while settling more comfortably in the seat since it didn't seem they were moving out just yet. Admittedly he wondered if the pull played a small part in Morgan's outburst as well. The man gently rolled his neck, popping it before stopping and staring in the general direction of the pull and Vitae through the windshield of the truck. Chase wasn't a fan of the oracle powers, back when he didn't know or understand them it had been off-putting but now that he did know he just felt it was obnoxious. He didn't enjoy his emotions or actions being messed with by anyone or anything.

Briefly he looked down at the journal he still held that was to be given to the redhead, "You know Malcolm better than most I'd guess," Chase started as he raised his eyes up and over at the man in the drivers seat. "Does it seem like he's resigned himself to the fact that he's already lost his daughter? I get being prepared for the worst but he could have given this to her himself after were done."

William could feel Franklin's almost predatory eyes on him -- always assessing, always calculating -- but he ignored them as he watched Mackenzie and Clay slowly slip out of sight. His heart seemed to drop lower in his gut with each step she took, part of him wondering if it was the last time they'd ever see one another. Finally, with a deep breath, he turned to nod toward Bart. He didn't bother asking the guard captain if his men were ready and the gate fortified; the man had been nothing but steadfast in his duties ever since Will had arrived at Vitae. He didn't see that changing tonight. "You have my gear?" Will asked the man. Bart nodded, cocking his head toward a nearby guard shack just inside the wall.

Will stepped inside, approaching the arms locker and swiftly grabbing the padlock, entering the combination before tugging it free to open the door and reveal the equipment inside. He slid on the somewhat bulky tactical vest first, adorned with pouches stuffed full of ammunition and other supplies. The vaguely familiar weight of it brought him back to Afghanistan -- the feeling of knowing that he was walking into a fight. This time, the fight was coming to them. Strapping his holstered pistol to his leg and sliding a silver-plated dagger into a sheath hidden under his pant leg, his final preparation was his rifle. Slamming a magazine home and chambering a round, he slung it over one shoulder before making his way outside to meet Leech so they could make their way up to the top of the wall.

BRUpige.jpg

Emile gave Chase a disheartened look as the younger man clearly had so much hope and faith instilled in the Oracle and wolf hunter. He wasn't sure if the man he had come to care for deeply was a hopeless romantic or maybe he knew the small hunter better than her own father. "He know a long time ago she no love him any more." He shrugged, glancing out the windshield the direction of the colony and Oracle within. "He try for a long time to catch her, bring her home and make her understand but she sauvage." He looked back to his young love. "He don't think she will come wit us, even if everyone else do." He reached over and tapped the journal. "He think that if he try and talk to her, try and give this to her, she will run and not take. But he hope she trust you, and will listen and maybe change her mind."

He and Malcolm had had a very long discussion of what to do with the wayward child. Emile had been dead set on refusing to allow Skye-Mackenzie to rejoin the pack and her family - he wasn't even certain if the pack and people of Borseti could even accept her within their ranks. She had been a terror to his people for a long time before she fell in with the Nest. Malcolm and he had talked every angle and come to the decision to leave it in her own hands. Emile wouldn't prevent her from joining them, if she wanted to, and Malcolm wouldn't ask her to join.

Leech had remained watching the distance where Clay and Mackenzie had gone, she could still sense both of them, one her mate the other the Oracle. She worried, not matter how much Clay had reassured her, that Mac would end up killing him for what he was going to do, she had always been the type to kill first then ask questions. She heard Will shuffling in the shack behind her as he readied himself for the night and when he stepped out to meet her she turned to face him. "You ready for the night of your life?" She purred playfully. She had not had much of a chance to get to know him all that well over the week and a half she had been present within the colony. Most of what she did know had come from Mackenzie whenever they were sparring or scouting together. The woman never shut up about him. She nodded towards the rope ladder that would take them to their post for the evening. Franklin and Bart were to man the gate themselves, herself and Will only to the left of them by twenty feet.

Mackenzie rolled her eyes as Clay questioned if she trusted him. "With my life, Clay, you know this." She had known him since her childhood, met him while they both had done time in Juvenile Hall, they had broken out together and if her brothers hadn't caught them, she probably would have kept hunting with him for god knows how long. She glanced to him as he started to speak, "Good. I know you're scared but-" Clay paused, his voice strained and his face contorted. She blinked as the vampire staggered next to her, his hand clutching her shoulder painfully. "Clay?" He started to go down and she couldn't hold him up, his weight pulling her to her knees as he collapsed.

A noise behind her drew her attention, she glanced over her shoulder in time to feel the mans arm slip around her throat, locking her head back. He dragged her up to her feet, her hands clutching at his arm to try and loosen the hold so she could catch her breath, but as she gained the freedom she sought she felt the cool metal blade slip in her back. The hunter put such force into the movement his knuckles ricocheted off of her hip, loosing his grip on the blade's hilt. She grunted in pain, but Mackenzie had learned in her youth in the Nest, you don't make noise when you're hurt - it only draws more attention.

The motion of being dragged backwards and the man losing the grip on the knife granted her partial freedom, she slipped from his arms and was able to back pedal several steps, giving her time to try and sort out what was happening. Her right hand slipped behind her back, touching at the blade and hissing. Pain seared down the right side of her leg and back and she knew it wouldn't be long before she couldn't fight back. She watched the man circle, removing a second blade from his belt, she had removed one herself with her left on instinct, ready now.

"You don't know who I am, do you." The man grunted at her, slowly moving around her forcing her to turn with him to keep him in front of her. The movement was painful and difficult, but she managed through gritted teeth. "Don't see a girl for fifteen something years and she forgets yea. I've been waiting for this, I almost had you at the clinic but that damned Brit took me out. Not this time." He sneered and lunged at her blade first. Mackenzie knew she wouldn't be able to avoid the man or his attack, she would be too slow and only end up being injured further. Instead as he stepped within striking range, hers and his, she dropped to her knees, driving her blade upwards before he could strike down. Her blade glanced up his rib cage, tearing through clothing and flesh alike until she burred it home in the pit of his arm. It was less than ideal but the action forced the man to drop his own blade.

He howled in pain collapsing forward onto Mackenzie, the additional weight forcing her onto the ground. She grappled with him for the lost blade and when he came to understand she could out reach him he changed his direction. The hunters hand wrapped around the hilt of the blade embedded in Mac's back as she took hold on the one he had lost. The two hunters moved almost synchronized to each the other, they both knew if either of them failed it would be death. The hunter forcibly tore the blade from Mackenzie's back, raising and bringing it back home to strike at her chest just as Mac seized the knife he hand lost and turned the blade down into his neck through the top of his shoulder.

Both hunters lay struggling to breath, Mackenzie could feel her lungs filling with blood -a thing she had felt more than once in her past, but to her gruesome delight, she felt the hutners body go still a top of her.

Dark eyes stared at the moonlit sky, she frowned slightly. She was certain she had forgotten to do something as she watched the edges of darkness creep into her vision. She was too tired to think, she couldn't remember what she had forgotten. Her eyes closed as she decided she would try and remember later, after she slept.

William managed a meek smile for Leech, nodding. "Ready as I can be." He didn't trust the female vampire -- not in the least -- but he knew she was Mackenzie's friend once and possibly still even after all that had happened. He'd read about her in the journal, the way she had looked after Mac dutifully. He knew that no small part of that came back to a sense of loyalty to Franklin, but as far as he was concerned it earned Leech some small measure of civility that Franklin didn't.

Will made his way over to the rope ladder, taking hold and climbing up. It was slightly more difficult in the gear he was carrying, but he managed nonetheless. Having ascended to the top of the wall, he stepped over to the edge to cautiously overlook their surroundings. If it weren't for what he knew was out there, the moonlit forest and clearing would almost be serene. He spared one final look up at the night sky, the moon seemingly filling by the second. His gaze fell, looking toward the gate where Franklin and Bart would be posted before drifting farther -- the small clumps of sentries stationed along the wall at even intervals. There was no small talk, only occasional hushed chatter carried on the wind.

Will took a deep breath, checking his rifle again more out of habit than necessity. He felt as if he should say or do something -- a prayer, maybe, for his "family". But he wasn't the type, not for a long time at least. Instead, he resigned himself to staring out into the darkness of the forest.

And waiting.

Chase sucked in a deep somber breath when Emile finished, "No pressure then right? Let's hope Malcolm knows what he's doing with trusting me then." Chase joked, though he knew the female hunter wouldn't be willing to listen to him very much, but maybe if he were to rope Ashley and Will in...then just maybe. Reaching up he scratched at the back of his head with a hand, pausing only at the sudden need to go to the colony, the pull strengthening just as planned. Even from this distance it held strength, and Chase wasn't sure if it was stronger for him or not because he knew the person it was coming from.

It was like a small panic rising up inside of him, and for the moment he was glad he was in the passenger seat. The pull lasted longer than he'd expected, Chase sought to rub at one of his arms which had goosebumps covering them. And then just like that it was gone, the pull vanishing. For a moment he wished he understood more about the powers and how they worked, and about the details of how this was pulled off to begin with. But for now he focused on the sounds of some of the other vehicles in the parking area starting up, readying to move out but not daring to move until their Alpha gave the word. Just like them Chase turned to glance at the man next to him as if waiting for that same word but speaking up as well, "Guess it's show time."

Mackenzie would 'wake up' in the home she had been staying in the Colony. If she cared to look outside she would find the Colony perfectly fine and beautiful weather. Hypnos waited for her inside the living room along with his brother Thanatos. Both patiently and respectfully waiting for the Oracle to realize what was happening.

Deimos was actively cursing Hypnos as he now stood guard over Mackenzie's dying body. Why the god had told him not to get involved the demigod didn't know, but at the very least he would watch over his charges body until someone from the Colony found her. Any vampire or werewolf that tried to touch the Oracle would meet a slowand painful end by Deimos's claws.

Hypnos eyes glazed over for a moment as part of his power went to set up the dream world for Mackenzie. " If you don't mind Ginny, sent up another prayer tonight, I'm going to need as much power as I can muster if this is going to go according to plan. With that the deity disappeared from the clinic only to reappear over the Colony in his full godly splendor. Armed with his horn and his staff the deity was ready for the coming fight. However unfortunate an isolated incident, even the attempted murder of his Oracle, wasn't cause enough for his wards to activate.

Solomon sensed the surge of divine power and couldn't resist the urge to look behind him up at the god. What the Colony did to get a deity to defend them the sorcerer didn't know, but it was certainly something he planned to ask Ashley-May if he survived the night. With the arrival of one god and the moon beginning to fill Solomon figured it was time to play his hand as well. " By our contract I order you Pan: Protect the Colony from the werewolves."
Solomon's dagger glowed with power and a moment later the wild god crawled out of the ground his chest ablaze with the seal that binds him and his bow at the ready. " Now... I guess we wait." The sorcerer muttered.

Ginny nods, taking a deep breath. She heads to the bathroom, and pulls out the blood bag she brought with her, drinking hungrily as she feels the surge of power. She hides the now empty bag, and returns to the others.

Tara watches her, confused as to what Ginny has gotten herself into. Tara had no idea that the kid had been dealing with gods. From what she's learned from the others, that's a very dangerous thing to do, for pretty much anyone.

With the last of the decoys destroyed Gaveel was just as frustrated as she had been previously. In truth she had not expected to find the Nephilim and its host in one of the many images of them covering the earth -their presence had been concealed to them prior to the images, the copies being issued around the globe. It only confirmed the suspicion that an unknown deity had been assisting the two from facing Heaven's Host. Gaveel was confident now, with the images gone, that the host was hiding inside the warded colony, one of the very few places on the Earth that Heaven could not access freely. She could have left the images to roam aimlessly on the planet, let the deity waste his time and energy fueling thing, but they had been an annoyance, an blight and they needed to be destroyed.

Her confidence restored she gathered her Cohort to descend upon the colony, around the exterior of the walls. They were invisible to the human or even supernatural eye only detectable by other angels or deities. Previous to this Gaveel couldn't have focused this much attention to the colony prior, not on the assumption that the Nephilim and host may be within, guarded by the wards, however now she and the remainder of Heaven was certain of it: the very same deity that had issued the images across the planet was the same that had warded the colony as well. As her Cohort worked and unraveling the warding preventing their search she appeared with her elite few near the main gate to the colony. She could detect the presence of a deity - not the one that had initially placed the wards, but one that now serviced them. She watched him intently, unmoving from the short distance. She was aware of the human near him, though knew, or at least assumed he would not be able to see her himself. She waited for the deity to acknowledge her.

Ashley-May and Elijah had arrived at the drive in on schedule, it was not busy at the entry -which had been Mac's goal for their early departure, she didn't want them getting caught in a queue of cars, potentially trapped and vulnerable. The attendant at the gate seem surprised as the classic car rolled in next to his booth and asked to pay for the double feature that didn't start of another hour and a half. She had smiled pleasantly and paid without giving him a reply.

Once inside Ashley-May found a rather centralized location to park, turning off the Beast and leaving them in silence for the time being. They had spent the drive to the small town not speaking after Eli's last comment, she knew she wouldn't be able to hold her tounge any longer if the man chose to keep making comments about how other people should be when he clearly couldn't even uphold his own ideals. She stared out the front windsheild of the Beast for several strained seconds before opening the door and stepping outside in the cool night air. She didn't feel the need to caution Eli as to where or what she was doing; he didn't want to be a part of her life, he didn't need to know the details of it.

She could feel Liam becoming more and more restless, the child craved something, wanted her to do something but she could hardly tell what. It was becoming more of a frustrated part of being a Nephilim's mother, knowing that the child sought things but she had to play the near constant guessing game as to what. Some times it was simple, the child made her sleepy - he wanted her to rest (she could only assume that her being awake and mobile somehow disturbed him as well). Now she craved something she couldn't place. She slowly paced the perimeter of the car, wondering if the child had become complacent with the static position she had been in while driving.

Mackenzie woke slowly, mind fuzzy and confused. She was fairly certain she had just been outside star gazing -not something Mac found herself doing often, but instead she now looked at the painted ceiling of the house she had been living in for the past couple of weeks, the house that the Council had given Will for becoming one of its members. She frowned slightly wondering why she was here -she rarely slept on the couch, and if she had it was because Will had managed to wear her out, but soon she became aware of the presence of gods near by. She tilted her head aside to see both Hypnos and Thanatos sitting on the chairs opposite her on the couch. She glanced from one to the other before speaking. "I'm not dead yet, then." She murmured softly but otherwise did not move from the couch or where she lay. "Did I at least kill him first?"

Leech followed Will up the rope ladder to the top of the wall, she paused as she reached the cat walk built for the hunters to make their rounds, surprised at how quickly Clay had taken on Skye, she would have thought her mate would have waited a little longer after leaving before doing as he had beend directed, drugging the Oracle and thus rendering unconcious.

She tensed as the sensation burned at her, the pull and desire to go and resuce her from her asailant. She growled softly, as she fought the drive -it was clear that Skye was putting up a fight but within a few seconds it diminished entirely. She glanced briefly to Franklin, who continued to stare the direction Skye had left, it was clear something was not to his satisfaction, but she knew her part in all of this. She came closer to Will as he stood staring off into the woods clearly lost in his own thoughts. "I know you'll blame me for this for a while, but, a girls gotta do...right?" She didn't wait for a reply, knew the man wouldn't have a chance to do so.

She moved in with incredible speed taking a hold of the hunters arm and wrenching hid force-ably behind his back whilst placing her hand behind his neck and forcing him forward, building the pressure until she had the hunter on his knees. She was thankful to have fed this morning on one of the Nest's feeders the man was strong -far stronger than she would have expected him to be, but of course Skye wouldn't select a Mate that wasn't extraordinary in some fashion. "Easy now, " he cautioned the man, attempting to be soothing. "We're not going to hurt anyone, but we can't trust you hunters to your freedom, not yet at least."

All around the colony the vampires of Franklin's Nest were taking action, subduing the hunters they had been partnered with, in most case's easily, bringing the armed men and women to their knees before handcuffing them and disarming them. There were those they left alone, "Edgar", for one, was not to be touched as per Franklin's order, nor was Ginny - even the vampires knew there was something different about both these hunters.

As for the armed civilians a far more cautious approach was being taken, those in the REC center would soon find the doors barred, vampires keeping locked guard at any entrance or exit and calling for those within the turn over their weapons, to remain calm and to be seated. Attempted to reassure any panicked individual that there would be no assault this evening, no attack on their walls by wolves.

The only location that was unaffected by the Nest in any fashion was the Clinic - it had been left for the residents to come and go as they needed, they would never prevent someone from seeking medical care.

Franklin tensed as the Orcales -Skye's pull, drew him, it was powerful, enhanced already by the drive to want to care for the woman already within him, the Oracle status only heightened his desire. He gritted his teeth as he fought back against the need, but as the sensation continued, he knew something had gone wrong. He fought the instinct to go immediatley to find out. As the feeling waned he waited, counting the second and watching as his Nest Mates started taking down their targets. He waited even longer still, as long as he could before giving Bart a short nod and heading off in the direction where he last felt the Oracles pull.

He made his way shortly, following her and Clay's scent, as he drew closer to the where they were it was clear something well out of Clay's control had happened. The thick metallic scent of fresh blood, Skye's and someone else's lingered in the air. His stride quickened and as he came upon the scene he was surprised to find a deity of sorts starting over top of the bloodied and fallen humans. He glanced to Clay, the vampire was un-moving, but not his primary concern. He wasn't certain if the deity had been the cause of the incident or if it had arrived afterwards. "Is she still alive?" At this distance Franklin couldn't hear Skye's heart beating, if she was an injured as he believe she may be, it was likely too late. "If she's alive I can get her to the Clinic, they could save her."

The pull of the Oracle had certainly not gone unnoticed inside the cabin of the truck. Emile's grip tightened on the steering wheels as his eyes searched the distance for any sight of the Oracle that called to them. Around them he could feel the tension of the pack, their eagerness to run to her aide, run to the call. Even the younger man next to him, and Morgan in the backseat were affected by the siren's call. Once the sensation disapeared he waited, calming himself and letting his heart rate slow - not just for himself but to make sure those in the pack also calmed before they started on to the colony. The last thing he needed was one of them to have an accident or worse, arrive inside the colony on an adrenaline high.

He turned the key in the ignition and glance to Chase briefly, making no comment on what was said, he knew it was likely for Chase to calm his own nerves, before shifting the truck into gear and slowly pulling out of the parking lot and back on the road to Vitae.

Morgan's heart raced, pounding in her ears even as Emile started the truck and headed for the colony, she didn't know how her uncle was able to keep his calm at all at this point, her own hands still shaking as she retrieved the phone from her pocket and started to type out a message to Adelaide. She wasn't certain if the natural psychic and witch would be effected by the Oracle like she had been - but she knew she couldn't have done anything to prep the woman before hand. At least now that everything was in action and going, she could try and help as much as she could. "Don't resist, don't fight them, it will be okay."

Tara immediately goes for Eddie, forcing him down. It's not that hard, Eddie hasn't been doing this long, and Tara has her unnatural strength to back her up. Ginny closes her eyes, standing mutely. She absolutely hates this situation, but she knows it's necessary. The hunters won't accept an alliance any other way.

Hypnos watched with a mute expression as the vampires made their move, suppressing the Colonists as one unified force. Now this was cause enough for his wards to activate and send the vampires into a slumber, but for some reason they weren't activating. Even as Hypnos tried to forcibly trigger them still the spell didn't resolve. Something else was at play, but the deity didn't know what. Hypnos would send a message to Ginny: Wards down, send a prayer if help is needed. Hypnos would also send the message to Brendan and Will. This was one of those moments where Hypnos would love nothing more than to act and flood the area with his sleeping mist, but the rules of the cosmos prevented him. The Colony would have to ask for his intervention.

The two gods looked at each other for a moment then back to Mackenzie. " You dealt him a mortal blow, and I hope that offers you some solice, but that's not why we're here." Hypnos explained. This time Thanatos spoke up, " As it stands your drowning in your own blood, and I'm fairly certain that clinic isn't equipped for the procedure necessary to save your life. " Thanatos's tone was far from sympathetic as his brother's was. It was the cold reality that they couldn't help her.
" You have minutes at best my Oracle.... Is there anything I can do for you? Anything that would provide you comfort in these last breaths?" Hypnos said waving his hand only for his horn to appear in Mackenzie's hand filled to the brim with a liquid. " I'll extend to you that same offer... an unending dream, immortality in sleep." It was obvious that the option wasn't what Thanatos wanted, but it was surprising that he was going along with it.

Pan snorted in surprise and anger when he noticed the angel. He remembered that Solomon had talked about a possible confrontation with the heavenly host, but he didn't think it would happen on tonight of all nights. The woods began to sway as Pan's magic started to influence the nearby trees. The wild god then notched an arrow, " Why is the heavenly host here? Have you come to harm this place?" The deity asked, cautious of the angels as it was partially there power that bound him to Solomon.

The sorcerer noticed Pan preparing for a fight and seemingly talking to himself. About what he couldn't here, but as it stood Solomon figured that Pan was preparing for the assault. " I guess even gods get antsy before a fight."

Deimos snarled at Franklin, " Too late vampire. She bleeds into her lungs, and I'll not let you or your ilk touch her. If you want to save her so badly then allow the humans to care for her. Though I would hurry." The demigod growled ready to defend his charge even if it meant the death of her.

Ginny grits her teeth, not wanting this. No. They're here to bring peace, the only way they could think to do so. Tara looks over at her, her gaze softening. The kid shouldn't be here. "Head to your apartment, Gin. I've got this covered." Ginny goes to leave as she's told, locking herself in her room. She puts her face in her hands. But if you can keep the hostilities suppressed for a while, please do it. With that, she'll begin her prayer for peace.

The entirety of Will's attention had been focused on the forest in front of him, Mackenzie's warning about Franklin forgotten for the briefest of moments. That was all it took. He was beginning to turn, to question Leech's initial statement. The arm that grabbed his own -- wrenching it behind his back and applying torque to the vulnerable joint -- felt like an iron bar. Within an instant his balance was robbed from him as Leech pressed down on his neck, forcing him to his knees despite his best efforts to remain upright, to struggle.

In any other situation, someone may have seen a fight between Will and the lithe, unassuming girl as a foregone conclusion. He towered over her, outweighed her by at least a hundred pounds. But Leech's preternatural strength and speed made William's size and physicality count for less than nothing. Struggling impotently against her grasp on him, he felt like an unruly toddler attempting to escape his mother's firm grasp. If anything, his movements only added to the uncomfortable pressure in his shoulder.

Will heard Leech's words and ignored them entirely -- the Colony had spent the last three weeks preparing for the onslaught outside their walls only to have him invite the true enemy inside. Anger -- at himself, at Franklin, at the Pack -- boiled up inside him and he grunted with effort, putting all of his strength into his knees as he attempted to push off the wall beneath him, lashing out with his elbow at Leech behind him.

Elijah had sat silently in the passenger seat of the Beast, barely paying any heed to the attendant that handed over their ticket or the other customers. The loaded silence between himself and Ash was almost oppressive, filling the air inside the Beast to the point where he felt like he was suffocating. All of it was underlain by the knowledge that the Colony would very soon be facing its possible end, along with his closest friends and he was nowhere near to help. Eli wanted to scream, to throw the door open and dive out -- anything except sit silently by the woman whose heart he had broken and had every right to despise him.

He watched now as she stepped out of the Beast, pacing around the vintage sedan restlessly. On her third circuit he sighed, reaching over to roll down the passenger side window. "Are you okay?" he asked evenly, doing his best not to start a fight.

Adelaide had been standing near the first aid table, helping Sandy to organize the materials when she felt it. Like nothing she had experienced before -- a shrill call that echoed through her mind and sent adrenaline dumping into her system. A cry for help, accompanied by a command to heed and obey. Sandy turned to look at her quizzically, "You okay, Addy?"

Adelaide managed a meek smile, nodding. "I'll be right back." She set down the bandages, moving toward the front doors of the Rec Center. It took a moment, having to slide in and out of the crowd of civilians inside. The door was being manned by several armed sentries, accompanied by more than a handful of the Nest's vampires. A cold sweat began to run down her brow as the mental siren call suddenly ceased. She knew, somehow, exactly who had sent it, likely unintentionally: Mackenzie. It was the first time she had experienced an Oracle's rallying cry, but it told her everything she needed to know. Her friend, William's fiancee, was in trouble... and the Pack hadn't even arrived yet.

With the call gone, her mind was flooded with the surface thoughts of the hunters and civilians filling the gymnasium around her. She found it hard to filter them out, even more so than normal in crowds. The din made it impossible for her to predict what happened next. As if acting on some unspoken signal, the vampires at the door leaped into action with such graceful precision and speed that it almost seemed choreographed. They moved toward the nearest armed hunters, subduing them and relieving them of their weapons within seconds. Not a single shot was fired and the few who attempted to put up a fight were quickly restrained.

Adelaide watched scene, awestruck. For over a week the Nest had lived among them and she hadn't sensed their deceit... Will had kept her away from them deliberately, in an effort to protect her. Now they showed their true colors. She didn't sense any lethal intent in their minds, but that was a small comfort as she stood in the panicking crowd that attempted to make their way to the exits of the Rec Center and push them open, only to find them chained shut. All the while, the vampires called for them to calm down -- that they didn't want to hurt anyone. It took several minutes, but eventually the frightened murmurs quieted.

Adelaide found her hand dipping into her bag, clutching the grip of the snubnose revolver Will had given her. She sighed, removing her hand and unslinging the bag from her shoulder, surreptitiously stashing it under a nearby table. Nothing inside would aid her against the vampire sentries regardless and Mackenzie needed her now. Addy pushed through the last of the crowd, approaching the apparent leader of the vamps inside the Rec Center -- a severe-looking young woman with raven-black hair and icy blue eyes.

"Back with the rest," the woman said impassively as she watched Adelaide step closer. "For your own safety." It wasn't a threat, simply a firm request.

"The Oracle's in danger. You felt it, didn't you?" Addy said, playing the only card she could.

The vampire's eyes widened and she cocked her head. "How did you--"

"Let's just say I'm not quite like these others," the witch remarked, cocking her head back toward the crowd. "I know your Master wants Skye alive. Whatever happened wasn't part of your plan, I'm guessing? She needs help, now."

The woman bit her lip. "I can't leave my post none of us can."

"Then let me go," Addy said without missing a beat. Seeing the woman's skeptical look, she sighed. "Look, I'm not a hunter. I'm unarmed, and I can't escape even if I wanted to. I just want to try and help my friend -- your Oracle." As she spoke, Adelaide had slowly probed the vampire's mind in a way she hated doing. Rather than just taking a peek at the woman's thoughts, she inserted the smallest of suggestions in her subconscious. It wasn't a technique she had practiced nor did she ever intend to -- but desperate times called for desperate measures.

The female vampire looked momentarily disoriented before regaining her composure and slowly nodding. "All right. You can go." Stepping over toward the door, she quickly unchained it and held it open for the psychic. Addy stepped through, ignoring the shouts of protest and confusion from the other occupants at the sight. Adelaide wasted no time in following her senses to where she had felt the siren's call emanate from. She didn't have to jog far before she found the scene. Addy's heart dropped into her gut.

Mackenzie lay flat on her back, unconscious and barely breathing if at all. Pooling blood stained the ground below her. Alongside her lay the body of an unfamiliar man, a knife protruding from his neck and obviously beyond saving. Not far off was Clay -- who she knew only by reputation. The figure which held her attention for the moment was standing closer to her, however. Franklin. There was no doubt in her mind he would likely question why she was "loose", possibly send her back.

Adelaide sensed another presence, however -- one she couldn't place. Invisible to the naked eye and indisputably powerful. Taking a deep breath, she spoke to Franklin and whatever ethereal being kept watch. "I just want to help her. She needs to get to the Clinic right now," she pleaded.

Deimos was prepared to stand there until Mackenzie's eventual death, but was surprised to find one of Mackenzie's companions show up and ask to take her to the Clinic. " Fate must be smiling on the girl. Tell the human SHE may take Mackenzie. If you attempt to harm her I will show no mercy." Deimos warned Franklin before moving out of Adelaide's path to Mackenzie.

The ride towards Vitae felt agonizingly long despite the fact that they hadn't stopped too far out while waiting for the signal. Inside the vehicle it was quiet between the three Werewolves, though Chase had rolled down his window for fresh air and so he could just catch scents. On several occasions he'd looked into the side mirror to look back at the convoy that trailed behind them. He had to admit that being at the head of the spear of a pack entering a colony wasn't where he'd ever have seen himself before a few weeks ago.

Once the walls of the colony came into view in the distance the man sat forwards slightly in his seat. Eyes straining to see if he could make out anything along the walls from this far out to confirm anything. With an unsatisfied huff he sat back in his seat, though his eyes still stared in Vitae's direction. This would continue until they grew close enough that Chase wondered if they'd be met with a hail of bullets, which was a chance even if small.

"Shouldn't the gates be opened by now?" He spoke up curiously at the sight that they were still closed. Though to be fair he wasn't entirely sure if they were waltzing in before at least letting their arrival be known beforehand.

Maxwell hadn't seen the Vampire coming, hadn't realized he was being forcibly disarmed until it was too late. He'd been far too distracted with a conversation with another colonist as they stood in the Rec Center, and left rather speechless until he heard his sister Rose yell something. Max swung around to spot the woman being restrained by another of the blood suckers and his nostrils flared as the protective brother instincts kicked in, "Hey you c-!" He'd only taken two steps and not even finished before he found himself pulled back by his arm and pushed up against the nearby wall with his arm pinned behind him. While the effort had been forceful he hadn't really been hurt, neither was the creatures hold painful either. More like incredibly uncomfortable, especially with his face against the cold wall.

Max wouldn't be released until minutes later when the aftermath of the panicked crowd died down. The Vampires said repeatedly that nobody would be hurt, but they weren't going to be leaving. Rose had to be subdued with zipties around her wrists and behind her back, being sat in a seat near the entrance the creatures were keeping watch over. Maxwell had decided to go along with it rather than do what his sister had, keep resisting, so that he wouldn't be in the same boat. Though he'd sat down next to her in another chair. "Alexis and Vicky are fine, they're still helping out." He'd reassured her, having just checked on them. The two female siblings deciding to keep busy with the triage area just in case while he'd returned to make sure the eldest of all five of them didn't do anything she might regret.

Though when he'd glanced towards the nearby exit to see one of Will's friends being allowed to leave Max stood with a confused look. "Why does she get to leave?" His voice had raised enough that plenty of eyes were on him, including the Vampire who'd subdued him earlier giving him a look that told Maxwell to sit back down. Which frankly he did, but not happily. They claimed to peaceful but they'd deceived the entire colony for this long, for what? To let the Wolves in to kill them more easily? The man was at a loss as he worried about the fate of his family and friends.

Jordan cocked his head slightly towards the camp and a small grin crept onto his lips. "I do believe your leader has started to mobilize brother wolf. With any luck we will see you again once you have need of our voice." Jordan have a small bow and looked at Himiko and Da Ji, the former of which nodded dutifully and the latter waved her hand in acknowledgement. The two women headed off into the forests and took off towards the Vitae.

A faint smile flickered to Gaveel's features as the deity opening threatened herself and her cohort, it was amusing, to say the least, given she acted on behalf of Heaven and its Host; a slight given to her would be one given to the remainder of Heaven itself. She tilted her head aside as the god questioned her motives, the reason for her and the Host's presence and she considered replying. At no time did she prevent her cohort from continuing their work, in fact many were already successfully in unbinding and removing the wards in place that prevented them from entry and glimpsing within the colonies walls. "We have no interest in the colony or its people. We search for the Nephilim and another, one of our prophets is withing and we have come to collect." She glanced past the god to the man that stood near by before turning her attention back to Pan. "You have been bound to serve another's bidding, god. What do you care of the fate of this colony?"

Franklin watched as Adelaide approached the scene from the Rec center, he was momentarily relieve and annoyed that she had managed to escape the nest that had been placed on guard there. It was something he would have to look into further, but clearly Diemos seemed to be content to let the human help. "The god says you can take her to the Clinic, for help." He paused, regarding the woman a moment but knowing well enough she wouldn't be able to carry Skye alone. He approached slowly, closing the distance between himself and the fallen hunter. "Tell him that I can be trusted, that I will take her. You need to come with me, explain to him that I not an enemy."

Leech hissed a curse as the man continued to resist, to fight her strength and even go as far as to nearly break his own arm. If he were any one else at any other time she would have gladly let the fool injure himself but she knew Skye well enough to know the woman would kill her if anything happened to her chosen mate. She released his arm, taking a swift step back as the man came to stand once more at his full height. She gave a low growl, but before he could turn to face her she was on him again. She leaped at him, landing on his back with her arms firmly wrapped around his neck and creating pressure. She could feel his heart racing, smell the adrenaline in his blood, it was sweet and she craved to taste it. It had been years since she had fed like that, more than a few, if she were pressed to count she could estimate nearly two hundred. It was easy to resist, however.

She held at his throat, feeling his heart rate begin the slow, the mans frantic attempts at clawing her arms away from his neck had ceased and she slowly collapsed down onto the top of the wall. She regained her footing, and waited longer yet until she was certain Will had lost consciousness. Only then did she let him go, carefully laying him to rest on the wall. She watched over him for a short time, taking his pulse and checking his breathing until she was certain he wouldn't be too hurt by her actions. Likely a killer head ache when he did wake. She removed the zip ties from her jacket and fastened his hands behind his back.

One the road she head the distant sounds of car approaching, she glanced towards the gates to see they were still closed and turned to face Bart, still standing at his post. The man looked lost, honestly confused and possibly terrified. "Open those gates!" she shouted, starting the man out of his staring. "Hurry." She watched as he headed to the lever that control the gates and flipped it back. He had rigged the gates earlier that morning; they moved, sliding along the rails far faster than they ever had before. As they came to the end of the track holding them a loud metallic crash could be heard ringing out through the night air, the gates, finding the stopper at the end of the rails now gone, careened off the tracks and cartwheeled into the ditch along side the road, leaving the main gates of the colony open.

Ashley-May paused as she came around the passenger side of the car and heard Elijah's question, asking if she were okay. The first thought to come to mind was a snarky reply but she bit it back: it wasn't his fault she was in this predicament. She glanced around the slowly filling parking lot before turning her attention back to Eli, calmed slightly. "Yeah, I'm fine." She said. "I just need something and I'm not sure what just yet." She paused a moment and remember that Mac said she had left them money to get junk food and thought maybe something at the concession stand would do the trick. She leaned in through the passenger window and opened the glove compartment. Sure enough, a white envelope with her name scrawled on it in Mac's writing waited for her. She pulled it out and stood again, opening the envelope and glancing at the bills inside. "I'm going to hit up the concession stand, any requests?"

Emile gave a grumbling French curse as Chase mentioned the gates: there had been promise this would go smoothly. He had been told by the vampire countless times that all was in hand and they would arrive to a controlled and subdued colony, but for the moment it looked just the opposite. Just as he started to slow the truck - there wasn't a chance he would put any of his pack within firing range of the colony without confirmation all was well, the gates started to roll open at an alarming speed. He still slowed the vehicle as he watched the gates hurdle off into the greenery before turning his attention back to the entrance of the colony.

Within a few seconds of the doors disappearing he saw a figure standing out in the light waiting for them. As they approached and slowed further still he could tell even at this distance it was his inside man -the hunter that wanted to join the pack those months ago and the one this was all about. He pulled into the gate way of the colony and stopped, rolling down the window to the truck as he man approached. Emile leaned out of the truck to grasp hands with the man. "Bart, tout fait comme prévu ?" The hunter grimaced and shook his head. "Cut the French shit out, you ol'dog, I don't know what yer saying."

Emile slowly shook his head and repeated, in English. "Is this good? Did Francois keep his promise?" Bart hesitated before nodding. "Yeah, he's got it in hand, common in, the party is just getting started." Bart backed away from the truck and waved him forward, letting Emile pull into the colony parking lot and letting the rest of the pack follow suite behind.

Mackenzie sighed softly hearing that she had, in fact, eliminated the other hunter - who she was sure of now was none other that Riley Evert, the first of many hunters she had lured and tortured while with the Nest. At the very least she knew he wouldn't be able to go on and hurt anyone else because of her. Both gods spoke about her coming death, clearly neither believed she could be saved by this point and she certainly wasn't one to try and counter them. Mac knew well enough she should have been dead a very long time ago. Once more Hypnos was offering her the Dream, one she had asked for before and she honestly considered it, but ultimately knew it couldn't be. If Will or Ash ever got the slightest inkling that she was there in Eberos for eternity they would never rest at trying to retrieve her, trying to bring her back from the dead. She turned, rolling onto her feet from the couch and stretching slowly. Lips parted to reply but she paused, an odd sensation filling her.

"Hypnos?" She blinked at the god, uncertain what he could possibly be doing, what his plan had been but soon enough the room filled with blinding light, she was forced to cover her eyes.

When she opened them again she was no longer in the false world that Hypnos had created. Both gods were gone and she stood alone in a small room. All around her walls, painted with beautiful mosaics and decorated with art work. In the center of the room sat a large polished wood table covered in treats and deliciously smelling room. Around the table were gilded chairs to match the fine crystal chandelier that hung from the center of the ceiling.

One turn around she quickly noted that there were no exits to this room, none that she could see at least. "Hello?" She called out, now truly convinced this was not either Hypnos or Thanatos's doing but some unseen force.

Adelaide stared at Franklin, eyes boring into the Den Master's as he spoke. So that's what the presence was that she sensed: a god. Benevolent or not was difficult to say -- but the same wasn't true of Franklin. Gleaning the elder vampire's surface thoughts revealed no attempts at deception on his part. He could be playing her for all she knew, but that was a chance she was willing to take. What she knew beyond a doubt is that Mackenzie would die if she didn't get help right away.

Addy stepped toward Mackenzie's still form, kneeling at her side before speaking into thin air in an attempt to appease whatever deity stood guard. "I need his help to save the Oracle. I can sense his heart -- he means no ill will, to her at least."

Elijah 6.jpg
Elijah smiled slightly at Ashley-May's tone, far less hostile than he had expected. The smile broadened as she explained her predicament -- Liam was calling on his mother for some mysterious craving. "No, I'm fine, thanks," he said evenly. "Just... be careful, okay? Stay in sight of other people," he said, his tone almost pleading. Eli knew better than to try and forbid her from going, but was more than a little annoyed that he couldn't even follow her and keep her safe in his current condition.

It was clear the timing wasn't perfect as far as the plan went, considering Emile's clear grumbling. Chase never expected plans to go perfectly anyways, and he'd just been about to suggest something when the entrance suddenly opened rather violently. A figure stood outside and it was clear by Emile's response this was likely the inside man. He couldn't tell who it was until they neared and Chase was left rather speechless, the truck stopping as Emile and Bart took a moment to speak. He simply watched in modest confusion and slight amusement, face clearly unsure how to shape in reaction. Emile started in French causing Chase to shake his head momentarily at being left out, though Bart set the Werewolf straight considering he was in the same boat. It was surprising to see Bart speak to Emile like they were practically old friends, even if Bart was the type to speak like that to just about anyone that wasn't a stranger from what he could tell.

"I never would have guessed." Chase spoke up to the pair, leaned forwards a little in his seat before they pulled forwards and into the colony to let the rest of the pack through. Once they were parked he was quick to slip out of the truck, moving around the front side with both nose, ears, and eyes going to work as if trying to find anything wrong. The man didn't wander but a few feet away knowing he was supposed to be sticking beside Morgan. Mostly he just smelled plenty of the decay from the Vampires who'd inhabited the colony the last two weeks, which caused nose to wrinkle slightly. "You could have told me it was Bart you know." Chase said in a neutral and not bothered tone as he fully understood the other mans reasoning, hearing Emile exiting behind him. He'd been given the reasoning behind the mystery and Chase never pushed Emile for a name to try and be respectful and trusting, even if he'd been curious.

Deimos scoffed, " So be it, help her if you wish." The demigod had about enough of this antic as it was. So at the very least he would keep an eye on the old vampire and make sure that he or anything else supernatural didn't harm Mackenzie.

Pan relaxed as the angel who seemed to be leading their heavenly operation mentioned the Nephilim. " You're quite right, I don't care at all what happens to these trespassers, and the one I'm bound to told me to defend against werewolves, not angels. So long as my master isn't attacked I've no reason to act.... even though I'm sure if you showed yourself to him Solomon would even be willing to help you in your search. In my brief time with him I've seen the sorcerer as quite devout all things considered." The god explained Now becoming fully relaxed. That was until there was a crash on a different part of the wall, the one with the gate.

Solomon was quick to act, ordering Pan to check on the gate and provide reinforcement. Pan gave a slight look at the angel before disappearing under the earth.
While Solomon ran as quickly as he could to the gate Pan used his magic to keep the Colony secure. Large roots and briars erupted out of the ground and began to seal the hole where the gate once stood, but it would take a few minutes for his magic to completely seal off the gate. That's where the god himself came in, he would have to hold the line long enough.

Pan let out his godly roar as he appeared from the roots entangling the hole in the gate, hoping his magic would cause panic and scatter the enemy as intended.
As Solomon ran across the top of the wall over to the gate he saw the vampires subduing the Colonists and the god above the Colony doing nothing in response. While Solomon wouldn't pray for the deity's help he was more than happy to shout at him for it.

The prayer from Ginny to suppress the vampires was enough to do a little something, but add on the sorcerer's shouting and Hypnos felt that was finally the justification he needed for stepping into the conflict. The god summoned his power from the prayers received to muster what power he could spare to spread a light mist from his horn over the Colony. This would serve only to deaden the senses and lull those within into a state of calm and relaxation.

That bright light that abducted Mackenzie's soul couldn't have come from any pagan god he knew of, and if that was the case that didn't leave very many suspects. Either of which were not worth trying to siege for her soul at his current power.

Ginny closes her eyes, feeling her senses begin to cloud over, that same aura itching at her mind. Thank you. She thinks, allowing herself to relax.

Tara groans, suddenly feeling strange, blinking as she tries to keep focused on holding Eddie down, but she can't stop herself from relaxing.

Ashley-May rolled her eyes playfully at Elijah as he suggested her staying in view of the public and once more being careful. "Alright mom, I'll be fine." She turned and headed to the concession stand with a shake of her head. It was easy for her to feel comfortable with Elijah, even before their shared prophetic dream from the sleepy god, she shared a kinship with the man. While they flirted and danced around the topic for some time, she and Eli had grown close as friends. They had found a bond as both of their partners had found each other and as she idly stood in line waiting to be served she recounted some of the finer points of their shared dream life.

Mackenzie has circled the room three times now and could not find an entrance or exit to the place. She removed each and ever object from the wall and when she couldn't find any hidden way of opening a way out, she started tearing the place apart. Every scrap of ornate wall paper stripped from the walls, each piece of furniture first moved then dismantled. The large wooden table in the center of the room had finally be turned over only to reveal the Enochian runes on the bottom. She glowered at the sigils, unable to recognize any of them from what she had managed to glimpse from Hypno's mind but she knew they were angelic in nature. She reached out to touch the glowing sigil and once more was assaulted by the bright light.

Franklin sighed in relief to hear Adelaide reveal to the god that he was, in fact, here to help. He knew he hadn't wished any harm on Skye -she was part of his Nest after all, but as for the remainder of the colony? He certainly didn't care about their fate. He was only here because of her, because she had called him and she had asked for his help. If there was any chance of having her return home to his Nest it would be by reminding her why she had stayed so long. He closed the distance in three long strides before kneeling down beside the fallen hunter. He easily moved the man, the hunter he and Skye had once known, aside before scooping her form up into his arms. He glanced briefly the direction the god remained before nodding to Adelaide. "I don't know how to escaped from the center, and its something you and I will discuss at length, but we need to get to the clinic first." With that he turned started for the Clinic, thankful it was only a short distance from where Skye had ended up.

Morgan was content to be inside the colony, finally. She had been anxious on the road after the Oracles pull had dissipated. Emile had hardly managed to put the truck in park before she was climbing out of the truck. She knew Addy was somewhere inside the colony, likely frightened or possibly even angry with her. She wanted to go find her friend and set the record straight but she knew she had a duty to fulfill first: her uncle had a plan for the evening and she was a part of it. She glanced back to Chase as he spoke about the inside man, the one that had met them at the gates. She hadn't known he was the one, though she thought it was for the better in truth. She may have said something to the man when they had come for the funeral.

Emile gave Chase a slight shrug when he mentioned he could have been trusted with the information. "Only I know et Malcolm." He stated simply, glancing back towards the gates where Bart was still flagging the remaining of the pack through. They were coming to park, exiting their assorted vehicles cautiously; this colony was notorious for some of their hunters, the Oracle excluded, many were well enough known for their abilities of hunting down wolves and despite the Nest promising to have controlled and suppressed the hunters, there was always a chance. He looked back to Chase with a slow smile. "Not for me to tell, eh? He did no want the pack to know his name, to know his face until he sure we come for him." He honestly hoped Chase understood why he had said nothing, though Emile certainly put a pin on it: a conversation to speak again later. He wanted Chase to trust him and twice today it already looked as though Emile had been keeping secrets from the man and he didn't like it.

Emile turned to rally the wolves: he needed to get things started before panic set in when a roar sounded out from the gates. All eyes turned to see the god rearing his head once more in front of the pack and he would be met with growls in return. They had better prepared this time for Pan to be present. He had caught them off guard previously, hijacking Emile and his pack for his ridiculous games. They had returned bloodied and broken from the gods abuse and had prayed to Manitou for guidance. As the old proverb says: Ask and you shall receive. Manitou had provided them with the ability to defend themselves from being taken a second time by the god. He was certainly no less fearsome, some of Emile's younger wolves backing away from the gates in fear, adrenaline coursing through them and bringing on the change involuntarily.

The Alpha acted quickly, sending those he trusted to the few young men that even now started to howl in stress and pain at the moonlight, to help calm them and even try and remove them from the colony before they lost control and shifted completely. Emile slowly stalked towards the gates, not foolish enough to think he could take on the god, but he wanted to make sure his presence was known by Pan.

Chase had been about to try and tell Emile that it was fine that Bart's identity had remained a secret, however he was cut off by an odd sound. Upon turning towards the gate he saw briers coming out of the ground to block the entrance. They were essentially now trapped within the colony and Chase might have assumed the hunters had them surrounded and that this was the plan if not for the sight of Pan coming out of his creation. Having not seen Pan before it was quite the sight, he only heard about what Elijah and Will had gone through with the god.

His response was to growl at the being, rather viciously turning into a snarl, because the gods presence had started effecting him. Despite everything Chase wasn't completely a pack member, everyone gained the connection to it at their own pace but he hadn't reached that point. The bond he was told they all felt and could send information to one another, it was hard to explain or so he was told, but he didn't have that yet. So Manitou's blessing didn't extend to him just yet, but he also was born a Werewolf and not bitten.

Chase's face contorted in anger as he felt rage bubbling up from seemingly nowhere. All he wanted to do was tear something to shreds, and even though his eyes were locked onto the being ahead of him the anger wasn't as focused. All the anger he held for what had happened to his father, he'd only worked through so much before he'd just pushed the rest down as if willing it away. In it's place he tried to fill himself with the joy and encouragement he felt with being with the pack members, and Emile more-so. But now that anger was bubbling to the surface for no other reason than the presence of Pan.

It was all he could manage not to shift right then and there and just...pounce. But through the pressure of emotion he still held onto his sanity, and something about the other growls, howls, and whines of the pack kept him somewhat focused. Enough so that he reached up with his right hand and latched onto his left upper arm tightly, near the bicep and tricep. Extending his claws he pierced through both cloth and flesh, seeking to try and use the pain to keep himself grounded. The snarling lessened to growls, but he didn't move for the time being. Whether it was working or not was hard to say but at the very least he was confident he wasn't going to lose control, angry or not.
