Jen looked over at Egill and smiled as he said,"Hey, if it makes you feel any better you're more than welcome to ride on my bicep again if you want." before he chuckled once again.

His gaze snapped back up to him, confused. "Wh-what? Why exactly are you saying this?" He asked, his head tilted. "We just met and you are already telling me I can ride on your bicep?"

Outside Arjean practiced simple things, weirdly not feeling in the mood to practice their abilities. Maybe it was because of the new area they were in, or that they just got out of a class specifically for practicing their powers. Still, all they were doing was levitating items they made with their aerokinesis, hold it in place in the air, slam it down, simple things they knew how to do when they were only a child.


Arjean sighed, maybe they should've found someone to train with. It'd be more fun to train with someone than by yourself. They stopped levitating the items and let them go back to being simple air, instead of a constructed air object. They decided to head to the library, maybe they could find some books to help practice their abilities there.


They shivered at the thought of going to the library though. It was so quiet there, and even though their great hearing picked up many things, it disturbed them how quiet people were and how unnoticeable you were sometimes. They sighed one more, they were stuck and didn't know what to do. Eventually they decided to just continue practicing their aerokinesis and began to create strong winds and tried to navigate them and move as they wanted them to.

"Because it made you freak out." Jen said with a grin on his face. The office wasn't too far now, just a bit longer and they'd be there.

"You want to see me scream in terror when you lift me up with a single arm? Jesus, you're strong. Either that or I'm just light. Really, really light." He seemed to calm down a bit, his blush fading.

"I'm just really strong, and you're lightness is a good factor in it too." said Jen as he suddenly grabbed Egill and tossed him high up into the air before catching him and dropping him back down on his feet. The centaur began to chuckle as he could already hear the complaints.

"Watch me form into a seal and then see how light I am!" He shouted, flailing about when he was tossed into the air. "Stop that! Stop it, please!" The selkie shrieked, quickly seeming to curl into a ball as he was caught, and placed on the ground. "Th-this is not funny!"

Arjean eventually got bored and decided to walk around the campus for a bit. While walking around they saw a centaur throwing a short pale boy up into the air and then catching him. Arjean heard the centaur giggling, but wasn't sure if the boy was being bullied or if they were just having fun. They thought they could hear a conversation between the two earlier, but they weren't sure if the boy was in danger.


Arjean slowly walked towards the two to see what was going on. The centaur seemed friendly enough, but the short boy seemed to be in trouble.


"A-Are you alright?" Arjean asked the short boy as they approached the two.

"A seal? That's it? Talk about easy. I can rip a tree out of the ground with ease, you think a seal weights that much to me?" snorted Jen with a smile on his face. That's when another person come up and ask if Egill was okay. "Yeah, the little guy's okay. I was just messin' around with him. Might I ask who you are?" said Jen and his put both arms behind his head.

Ivy looked at him and smiled "Honestly, this is my normal, don't ask" she looked at the medical kit in her hands "I just help, it's in my nature" she looked at him "Sorry" she smiled apologetically. "Oh and no, no silver in here, you dont need any metal to heal your wounds" she said and walked over to him "If you would like you can take my med kit to your dorm instead of me patching you up"

"I really hope you're just saying that to show off!" He growled, and slowly stood up on wobbly legs, to dust himself off once more. Wow, he thought, I am amazingly fragile.





Egill was completely silent, until someone else walked up, and he raised his gaze to see someone familiar- Though he couldn't quite place where he'd seen them. "Y-yeah, I'm fine," Egill responded, stuttering slightly. He didn't smile, though. "He's just irritating the fuck out of me."

"I'm Arjean Soie, and wasn't he yelling at you to stop?" Arjean said, having a mixed facial expression of anger, confusion, and worry. Even with these expressions though, they tried to look professional. "And who are you?" they asked, honestly wondering who the centaur was. They were sort of happy there was a centaur, it made them feel less lonely being a centaur, or, well, a cervitaurs.


They looked down at the short boy and asked, "Do you need to get away from him?" afterwards.

"Nice to meet ya Arjean, the name's Jen." he said as he looked over to Egill who said that Jen was irritating. Jen only crossed his arms and said,"I was leading this one to the main office, which isn't too far from here. Besides, him being tossed was just me demonstrating my incredible strength."

He moved away as the person, who he discovered to be named Arjean, began speaking to Jen. He frowned, and pressed his back up against the wall to watch.


He shook his head at their question as Arjean turned to him, before growling at the centaur and snapping back at him, "Yeah, well, you didn't have to demonstrate it at all! That was completely unnecessary! Are you trying to impress me?!"

"Well maybe you should talk "Stop." and "No." for an answer next time." Arjean said as they crossed their arms. "Also, I know where the main office is. I actually where there earlier to talk about a club I'm making, you probably saw the posters all over the school for the Fashion Club."

"Oh no, I'll stay." Graeme chuckled, "I'm just... not used to getting help it all. It's been a long time since I've had someone be so kind to me." Graeme smiled and sat down on the floor, turning around so she could see his back, all bloody and covered in scrapes, gashes, and cuts. "To be honest, I'm not sure if I'd even be able to get this one on my own anyway." Graeme sat and waited patiently. "Would you like to know how good I am at the job I normally do?" Graeme was in a state of focus, serious, yet a feeling he hadn't felt in quite some time.

I get surprised by how I have forgotten about my classes. I get up and put my mask back on, so I can just get it over with it and expand my intellect. I tighten the straps, walk out the door, close it, and lock it. While walking to the office I enjoy the scenery of this place, yes it's complicated, but it's a marvelous academy that can leave even the greatest in awe.

"Honestly I didn't really notice them. Then again, a centaur doesn't really need fashion. I mean, it's not like I can wear much aside from a shirt and maybe a hat if I'm in the mood." Jen said as he only snorted out of frustration when Egill suddenly snapped at the centaur. His ears now folded along the side of his head. He then suddenly said,"Great, well would you mind taking Egill for me. I can tell he doesn't want to be around me so I'll just be on my way." and just like that, Jen was already walking back to his dorm room. His ears were still flat against his head, a obvious indicator of his anger.

Ivy smiled and pulled out a few cotton balls,neosporin and antiseptic wipes, she dabbed the cotton balls on his cuts to wipe the blood up and rubbed antiseptic wipes to make sure he didn't receive an infection before she applied neosporin on his cuts that she had cleaned. "Go ahead and tell me, I'll listen" she said and smiled. Ivy used the antiseptic wipes to clean up his gashes and scrapes. "All better" she said and began to put away her med kit

Arjean tried to stop Jen. "Actually, I know lots of ways to fit clothing on a centaur. I have, uh, some personal experience with it." they said, their anger slowly being to subside. "Also, why are you getting angry? You're the one who kept troubling the boy." they asked, trying to sound a bit nicer.

He listened to Arjean with interest, his gaze flicking between the both of them as they spoke. Then, suddenly, Jen stomped off after an angry final comment, and he winced, even as Arjean tried to stop him, just to say something about clothing. Quickly deciding to get away, he raced past the two and back to his dorm. The selkie needed a bit of alone time, now. Too many people.

Jen sighed as he muttered,"Obviously I went too far, and I'd honestly appreciate it if you'd just-" but before Jen could finish his request, there goes Egill as he took off back to the dorm building. Jen only growled under his breath as he too took off back to his dorm. But instead of running, the massive centaur was galloping back home. Once there, he only slammed his door shut, making most of the dorm building shake slightly. He sat down on his mat and only began to read in order to avoid the real world for a while.

Arjean wanted to try and stop the boy, but he ran too fast, and soon afterwards Jen left. Arjean sighed sadly and pushed a hand through their hair. "I didn't mean to scare someone off." they whispered to themself. They began to walk away from the dorms and towards the library, maybe they could clear their mind by reading some books.
