"Yep, that's right. I'm a big ol' horse man." Jen said with the same smile plaster onto his face. He looked over to-wait a minute, the two still had yet to even introduce themselves. That's when Jen suddenly said,"By the way, the name's Jen. I thought I may as well introduce myself."

"Sweet.." Egill responded, chuckling nervously. He felt the other's gaze on him, and glanced up as he spoke. "Jen..?" He echoed, then smiled, "My.. My names Egill. Egill Eriksen. It's a pleasure to meet you, Jen.. And thank you for helping me."

Tang brushed himself off after being set back on his feet. He noticed the amused look in Tori's wolf eyes and tried to give a half hearted glare, which he failed and ended up with a smirk. "just so you know, i meant to do that." He released a small chuckle. "if i had rolled any faster. i could have gave sonic a run for his money." Tang joked not knowing if Tori would get the reference to the old videogame charater.

"Don't mention it Egill." said Jen as he suddenly continued on being a centaur "Besides, being a centaur means that I can do...this!" he said before suddenly picking up Egill with only one hand and balanced him on his arm and bicep to keep him from falling off.

Jacob's smile widened when Irona decided to come, "Great," he said, "Follow." The sun was slowly progressing over the horizon, giving him a good idea of cardinal directions as he walked through ivy and rotting sticks. He made note of landmarks as he went, such as that tree that looked like a moon, or the pile of rocks that resembled a face. He finally stopped at a sudden, deep gorge. "Wow!" he said, "Didn't get this back in my home!"

After grabbing a few books on the spells he was looking for Graeme walked over to one of the tables closer to the back of the library. Returning to the front for some extra paper to write on he noticed a familiar face, Ivy. After grabbing his paper and another book he was looking for he walked over and intercepted Ivy as she walked in. "Well what a surprise, I guess I chose a good time to research. I'm just about to start and who do I see walk in? Miss Ivy, the girl who reminded me that beauty can be found in mistakes." Graeme chuckled before continuing, "What brings you here, if I may be curious."

Emily thought in her head


'wait..did I just give a complete stranger my number?!...eh he was cute anyways I didn't catch his name though...'


Emily stumbled to the back of the library and she saw a couple of people sitting together


she decided to ask for some help around the school

Emily stumbled to the back of the library and she saw a couple of people sitting together

"Research for my job. I needed to research some details and such for what I've been assigned to do." Noticing the girl walk up Graeme chuckled, "Well I could show you around, but between the two of us here she'd be the better choice." Graeme then bowed and held out his hand to the new girl. "Prince Graeme Grove, it's a pleasure to meet you miss."

"Don't worry about it Ivy. I'll take care of it. I still need to get used to navigating the place anyway." Graeme gathered his books from the table and began getting them checked out and stuffed them in his satchel. "Alright, Emily was it? Let's get exploring." Graeme smiled and walked toward the door before turning around, "Seeya later Ivy, hopefully we run into each other again." Exiting the building Graeme waited for Emily to catch up to him.

Irona followed behind Jacob the whole time, every once in a while his deer-like ears would flicker and he'd turn his head to stare off at something a little more distant. He had enhanced eyesight, which was why he was so quick to spot things under camouflage and deep within shadows. Not to mention his sense of smell and hearing were also heightened quite a bit. He could hear things from long distances. And in that circumstance, he could hear the faint noise of a mellow song playing somewhere off a good while away next to them. It wasn't to close- and it definitely wasn't getting at all closer, which only relieved the young boy.


His grey-brown eyes flickered over a few tree branches. Almost immediately he caught sight of a white cat balancing in the branches. It was awfully bright and noticeable in the branches, but soon after Irona blinked the cat was gone.


He turned his head again once he heard Jacob gasp in amazement, and almost ran over the gorge in his process. He stared at the deep gap with widened eyes as he took a few stumbling steps backwards and shook himself out. "This is- impressive." The short boy breathed softly, his ears flickering once more as he got a little closer to look over it, his eyes still wide.

"Oh? Well I find that to be perfectly fine. I used to go to a café where there were all sorts of different creatures. Witches, vampires, animal hybrids... in fact I actually had a spirit animal follow me for a while. It was this cute little fox who had really bad balance and tripped on his own feed quite often." Graeme chuckled as he started walking, might as well show her where the girls dorms were since that's somewhere she'd neet to go. "Believe it or not, I'm in my natural form right now. I'm a shapeshifter, so honestly I can make myself look like anything if I chose to."

"Alright, going this way then." Turing into another direction Graeme started walking toward the gym, cafeteria, and main office. "Anyway, as I've already said, my name is Prince Graeme Grove, but everyone just calls me Graeme." Graeme smiled and pulled out one of the books he checked out and began glimpsing at it while writing symbols in the air in front of him. "Shapeshifting isn't the only thing I'm good at either, magic has always been one of my strong points. Even learning new magic is easy for me."

"Oh is that so? Well... tell me, what's something you want to see?" Graeme closed the book and stuffed it back in his satchel, readjusting one of his bandaged arms in the process. "I can do quite a few cool little tricks, just give me an idea, and I'll see if I can top your expectations."

"Yep, well, as you can see around us over that way it the gym, that building there is the main office, and that one, it the cafeteria." Graeme pointed to three buildings in order as he named them. "You've already been to the library and your dorms... that larger building over there is where all the classrooms are, obviously... and way over there," Graeme pointed to his dorms, which he assumed was pretty much the same as hers, "That's where my dorm is. Other than that... I'm pretty sure that's just about everything that you'd need to know." Graeme didn't feel exhausted one bit, though that may be due to his need to be fit for his elemental weapons. "Well, I guess if you're getting tired, might as well head back to your dorm." Graeme chuckled and pulled out his wallet and grabbed a small sheet of paper with an insignia glyph on it. "If you ever need me again just destroy this and it'll give off a magic beacon for me. I'd be glad to help you anytime." Graeme smiled and handed her the sheet, putting his wallet back into his back pocket and began walking toward his dorm. Waving back to her Graeme spoke one more time. "Farewell for now Emily, until we cross paths once more!"

He most likely screamed very loudly whrn he was lifted into the air with one arm, but he wasn't paying attention. "Put me down!" He demanded rather loudly, already beginning to shake. "Please, please put me down!"

now Emily was exhausted, she made her way back to her dorm and threw herself onto her bed, she tried falling asleep but nothing seemed to work. her fox ears were twitching a little bit, she didn't really seem so tired anymore so she made her way back down to the library, yet again.


entering the building she was thinking about earlier, the symbols Graeme was drawing in front of him. what were they..whatd they mean...


she sat down in the same chair she sat in last time she was in the library. she pulled out one of her magic books from back home and started to read.

Ivy put away the spell book and checked out her real book, She smiled at the librarian and then walked over to her cherry blossom tree, she let her wings spread around her as she read the princess bride, Ivy smiled to herself as she read, oh this classic was in her top ten romance novels. She pulled out her phone and headphones to put on music while she read, her wings kept her warm and snug. Ivy felt very comfortable and calm. She read happily with a pleased smile on her face and hummed along with the song playing. Her hair was down and blew around in the breeze. Ivy's eyes lit up at the sweet gestures of the characters, her blue eyes sparkling, she was the happiest when reading, especially her favorite genre, no she never told anyone what she read, it was a little bit cliche of a girl to like romance but her cupid in her just couldn't resist. Not to mention how well written the romance books she read, and how well thought out they were, no genre could replace them as long as it was written well.

It had been several hours and Graeme had learned most of the teleportation glyph magic. Taking out one of his knives he uncovered his bandages and began carving the rune into his flesh, chanting the spell as he carved it. When he finished the glyph, and all the other glyphs carved into his arms began to glow all sorts of colors. Covering his arm once more he stood in the center of the room and began to focus. "Think Graeme... where do I want to teleport first... warm up round..." As Graeme thought about it he got a good idea. "The cherry blossom tree... that's not too far from here and if I mess up I'll at least know where I'm at." Drawing the glyph in the air before him he began reciting the spell, thinking of the cherry blossom tree. As he finished the spell everything went... blue?


Graeme realized that his spell had worked... just not how he had hoped. He teleported a few feet ABOVE the tree. "Oh shit!" As he started falling he recognized Ivy, sitting in the tree. "Look out Ivy! Incoming!" Graeme braced himself as he fell into the tree, crashing through the branches one by one until he finally fell to the ground, shirt shredded to bits as he was laying upside down against the tree. "Ow... at least it sent me to the right place..."
