Tori came to a stop, hearing crying and her human mind popping in. Arjean, help Arjean. She didn't care about escaping anymore. She turned around and walked back to her friend calmly, shifting as she walked and held her friend in her arm, finally back in her human form, her white hair streaming down her back. "shhh, calm down Arjean. Everything is going to be okay. I didn't mean to panic you. Just calm down, shhhh." She whispered to them, looking back at the Guard who had the revolver in his hand. "Hey, thanks for trying to shoot me by the way." She shot at him with a sarcastic tone as she held her friend, trying to calm them down and put them back in their normal state. She then looked at another boy, opening the walls with ice and smiled Grimly at him. "Thanks for trying to help man, but hearing my friend cry got me out of that wolf state of mind." She replied, raising an eyebrow as she held out her hand a small form of a snowstorm danced on top of her palm.

Arjean felt a bit more relieved now that Tori was back to their normal form and things seemed to be less chaotic. Their body eventually glowed and went back to their normal form, but they did feel extremely light headed. Arjean struggled to stand back up and had to hold onto the walls to even lift their body up. "Th-Thank you." they said, not seeming to mind the cold. After all, cold powers made up the majority of their normal powers.


Arjean looked towards Tang and immediately began apologizing. "I'm so sorry for what happened. We didn't meant to cause any trouble."

Tang seeing that the girl had returned to her human form, dropped his walls of ice and let a small smirk touch his lips at her show of her mini snowstorm. "your welcome, but unfortunately my ice ability is slightly different from yours." He said clearly not intending to elaborate on the subject if it could be avoided. Tang then looked to the second person who was now apologizing to him. "to be fair, the only thing this episode did for me was save me from being bored. so you don't need to apologize." Closing his eyes, Tang stopped being sounded by frost mist and cold no longer radiated from him as the green-blue energy flowed out of his body and rematerialized as Hyotei. Daydream had also materialized and picked that moment to sit on Tang's head like normal.

"Suit yourself Graeme." Jen said as he stored the extra candy in the little fridge on his side. He then straightened himself up before grabbing a book out of his bags and began to read.

Paris surveyed the situation. It was very fortunate that this didn't escalate. He'll have to ask the officials about the faulty revolver later. Seems like he could leave now. He silently slipped away from the scene and went back to his small room.

"Eh, my wolf mind don't think like a human, reason why I freaked out." She said, standing up after Arjean and holding her hand out to the new boy. "The name is Victoria Clair Espenoza, Tori for short." She told him, moving her white hair to her left shoulder and slightly smiled at him. She noticed the little being on top of the boys head and raised an eyebrow at it, curious. "This is the reason why I was planning on getting drunk on the roof top. Ever seen a drunk werewolf? Very funny sight ya know." She chuckled.

Arjean blushed at the trouble they helped cause and said, "I'm fine." in response to Paris' worries before he left. "Sorry for the trouble, sir. I just got a bit... anxious..." they apologized again.


They weren't ready to explain what happened to them and why they were so panicked about it. They feared they'd be sent to the nurse or get in extreme trouble for leaving that information out to their friends or the guards. Even with them trying to hide it, it was obvious they were hiding something.


"Um... I should... leave..." they said, quickly trying to avoid being further questioned on their Starry form as Tori and Tang conversed.

Max sighed, as he didn't like giving people any sob-stories, but it was hard not to considering his past. "I sorta come from a rich family, like, I am apart of one but they ain't the ones who raised me. Until a year ago they all thought I was dead, but anyway the whole death thing is only if you don't hold up your end of the bargain. It'd be like if you buy a house 'an you have to pay rent every once in a while, if you get what I mean. Besides, if whatever is contracted with me wants to end the contract, they can do that without it effecting me...I just can't end the contracts myself, but this magic is actually pretty cool once you get the hang of it." He explained, and ate another handful of chips before speaking again. "So have you found your dorm room and figured out what classes you'll be taking? I already dropped my stuff at my room, but my roommate had already left, 'an I was gonna go check once I'm done eating." @Yewitz

"hm, that explains it." Tang said referring to what had just happened. He was also surprised neither Tori or her now escaping friend had said anything about Hyotei. Normally at the very least, he'd expected a momentary look of surprise. But then again, this was a school for all kinds. "well, my name is Tang Yuhao." He said taking Tori's hand and giving it a shake. "and these two" He pointed to Hyotei beside him and Daydream on his head. "are Ice Emperor Scorpion a.k.a Hyotei and Daydream, or Day for short."

Arjean stopped momentarily to look at the creatures surrounding Tang. They found them beautiful and adorable and couldn't help but blush at the sight of them. They felt like it was safe enough for them to go back and rejoined the group. "Are they your pets?" they asked Tang.

"Cool things." Tori replied, smiling at Daydream then looking at her two new friends. "You guys want to join me on the rooftop? I'm tired of this hallway and we can all get to know each other better."

"Yeah, that'd be mine." they agreed. They really needed some fresh air and felt like being outside would make them feel significantly better and safer.


Arjean looked tired after everything that happened and would occasionally yawn and wipe their eyes. Then again, they looked tired all the time. They had heavy bags and hair that seemed uncontrollably curly and wavy. Their droopy eyes didn't help make them look any less tired and just make it seem like they were about to pass out and go to sleep at any time.

Tang looked to Arjean, who had come back to him and Tori. "well if you want to think of them as that then you can. although they can also be called demons, avatars or as my family calls them: spirit beasts. they were both made from my soul force or as people outside my family call it: life force." Tang explained. He then turned to face Tori again. "and sure, why not. but be warned, last time i got drunk. i still don't remember what happened, just that i had frozen the entire building."

Tori chuckled, "Who said you were going to get drunk?" She asked and walked up the stairs thet led to the roof, sighing happily as she opened the rooftop door and took a huge breath of fresh-air. She sat down on the ground, leaning back and the tips of her white hair touched the ground, blending in very well with the ground of the rooftop. "So, both of you, tell me about ya'lls past life before here."

Arjean giggled. "I don't drink. I tried once with my family around, but I ended up giggling like crazy, losing control of my powers, and passing out. I don't have a very good tolerance for alcohol." they explained.


"So, you have ice powers too?" Arjean asked Tang. "I also have ice powers. They're sort of hard for me to control though. Well... all my abilities are hard to control." Arjean made a slight giggle. "I guess you can call me powerful but unskilled?"


When Tori asked about their past life they froze. "Um... Uh... It's really hard to explain... I doubt it's something you'd like to sit through..." they said anxiously.

Tori smiled grimly. "I'll have all the time in the world up here." She replied, pulling a vodka bottle out from behind a hiding place that he found earlier and took the lid off but didn't take a drink. To forget what I am.. She thought as she looked at the bottle then back up at Arjean. "I had a perfect life before I became what I am. I had lots of friends, I was loved, I was a star athlete, then one little party and a run in with a guy who happened to be a werewolf ruined it all. My family was terrified for what I have become, so they sent me here, hoping I can go back to normal and have my normal track life again. But.. that won't happen any time soon with my episodes like that and this." She said, shaking the bottle slightly in her hand then taking a small drink, the liquid burning her throat as it went down.

Arjean let silence fill after Tori's explanation of her life before telling their own story. "Th-That's horrible..." they said in regards to Tori's backstory. "My family was also scared of my powers. I guess they knew I would end up with a lot of powers, but didn't know they would reveal themselves so soon. I ended up being sent to a special hospital in my Grandy's dimensi- uh... a special place they made. They tried to help me control my powers and... some mental stuff... Eventually my Grandy found this place and decided to send me here to help with me socializing and learning my abilities." Arjean sighed. "I'd prefer not being here or in the hospital though..." they whispered.

Tang riding on Hyotei's back followed the two up to the roof. "well if you are getting drunk, im not gonna be the sober friend that has to play babysitter." He retorted good-naturedly. He then looked at Arjean as he answered their question. "yes, i do. but its like i said, slightly different from normal ice manipulators." At Tori's question of his past, Tang's eyes clouded with such strong hate and desire for revenge. That bloodlust could be felt coming off him before Hyotei touched his shoulder with its tail and his eyes went back to their normal silver color. Tang then listened to Tori's story of her past and also to Arjeans. "honestly, i'd prefer not to talk of my own past. but the short version, is i was imprisoned until i was fifteen, then released and exiled from my home. Then i wondered around the world for awhile until i somehow ended up here." As Tang gave the short version, Hyotei and Daydream both gave him a look of disapproval for not telling the two new friends the whole story.

"I understand why you would want to give a shorter version. I basically gave my short version. There's a lot of things I'd... rather not talk about." Arjean said sadly. They tried to laugh but it came out breathless. "I guess we all have a backstory that hurts us to remember." they said as they laid down on the roof and looked up towards the sky.


Arjean sighed and rubbed their eyes. "I really hope things are better here. I'm hoping I can learn how to better control my abilities while I'm here, and then make some friends too."

Tori snorted. "Anyone would prefer to be somewhere else besides here." She shook the bottle out to Tang then looked at her two new friends. She ignored the look of bloodlust in Tang's eyes then looked out at the school's layout that was before her, her blue eyes turning darker and more wolfish as the world looked more open to her. "All of us has a part of us we hate." She replied, looking at the other two around her, she saw Arjean lay down but continued to stay sitting up, not wanting to get her black half-cropped shirt dirty with the ground. "Tang, we shall not get drunk enough that the next day we will regret everything we did. Arjean, please don't let us do stupid stuff." She laughed, taking another sip.

Ivy woke up with a pocky in her mouth and her laptop dead, while her book lay open on her chest. She got up and put away her pocky and slid the book into the bookshelf. Ivy looked around the room to find her charger for her laptop when she finally found it under her bed, she plugged in the charger and started to charge her laptop. Ivy made her way to the dresser and she changed her shirt which had chocolate stains on left over from the delicious pocky snack. She put on a tan tank top and put her light blue varsity jacket with white and light yellow over it. Ivy slipped on some gray tights and a blue skirt. She walked downstairs while her fingers brushed against the railing as she walked, her wings were folded on her back. Ivy reached the marble floors and her galaxy converse tapping on the floor as she walked to the vending machine to get some soda. She pulled out a dollar and fifty cents and decided to buy a green apple snapple. She paid and grabbed her soda, then sitting on the bench by the machines. She then started to sip her drink while thinking about the new year, there would be a lot of events happening soon and she had to prepare for them.

"Oh.." He sighed when Max was finished, and nodded. "Okay, I understand now." Egill giggled, eventually finishing whatever fruit he had left on his plate and standing up. "I know my dorm, but I haven't really figured out my classes yet.. Guess I should do that soon." He chuckled, "Well, I'ma go put this up and head to my dorm, see you some other time?'

"I already had to deal with your wolf form, I'll be fine." Arjean joked, although it didn't seem like they were in a very humorous mood. "If I see things going downhill I'll stop it."


Eventually they sat up. "I wonder when we're going to start learning out abilities. I mean, we're supposed to be here to learn more about ourselves, right? There's so much freedom. It feels less like a school and more like a park we're confined to." Arjean complained. "I want to go find somewhere to train. I wonder if there's a gym."

Tang took the bottle from Tori before replying. "well, i wasn't planning on being that drunk. but close enough." He then took a big swig and welcomed burning trail down his throat. "and i never said i regretted freezing an entire building, just that i don't remember how it ended up that way." Tang chuckled as Hyotei and Daydream passed a look between themselves. "also, they probably do have a training ground of some sort. otherwise there'd be no point to a school for all kinds."

"I want to go and find it soon. I came here to learn my abilities and how to control them, so if I learn control over them then I'll be able to go home. At least... I hope that's how it'll go." Arjean began to think for a few seconds and ran a hand through their hair. "I need to find myself a trainer to help me and make sure things don't get too bad though." they said, seemingly talking more to themself than anyone else.
