Eris watches Peter leave the house. She is confused as she doesn't know what he's up to. She looks at her hand.

While everyone was relaxing for the night, most of the city had been transformed into the same horrid landscape that legion created in the park

Most of the civilians had been slaughtered, the Grimm had overrun the city, some places remain unaffected for the moment, Jenny's lakeside cabin as well as the lake and surrounding forest, the warehouse district where Roxie had made a home for her and Wisp, and a small portion of the residential sectors including Allyson's house still remain unaffected

Roxie put Wisp to bed as she begun pacing around her house clearly worried.

Diana had actually left the house to go for a walk when she came across the changes. "What's going on"

Alex walked back in with a plate of sandwiches. "I'm sure he will figure out a way to help with whatever is going on."

Eris looks up at Alex.

"You think so?" She asks with a hint of hope in her voice.

Erika looked over "Huh...Wonder who is she. Or well Asura might know her." she said.

Eris looks at the sandwiches.

"Yes. Yes yes." She said, quickly grabbing the sandwich. "Thank you."

She takes a couple of bites of the sandwich before explaining what happened.

"Well, I was roaming the city like I normally do. I came across some cloaked thing and a bunch of monstrous creatures terrorizing people in the park. When I went to try and swipe a few things in the midst of the chaos, the creatures attacked me. I tried confusing them with my powers, but once they got a lock on me somehow, I couldn't fight them. The cloaked thing, Legion, told me they were testing me. Then I got stabbed in the chest by tendrils and injected with the same poisonous goo that plagued the park. I felt reenergized, and I thought that I could at least negotiate, or convince, some sort of mutual ground with Legion so I could benefit as much as possible. Unfortunately, I hadn't realized what they had done to me until I fought Peter. My powers were stronger, but they were out of my control. My companion, Lazarus, was corrupted and nearly killed me. I haven't used my powers since. Peter wanted to help me get rid of the goo, but when Legion found out, they attacked me."

She looks down and shudders a bit from the memories.

"I-I was in so much pain. It felt like I was melting inside. Then, Legion told me that the only way to get rid of that pain was to either kill Peter or convert him."

She looks back at Alex.

"I'm a thief, Alex, not a murderer. I take items, not lives. I don't want him, or anyone else to go through what Legion put me through, and I especially don't want to kill Peter either. He's done so much for me. I haven't told him that that's where the pain was coming from. He shouldn't have to suffer for my mistakes." She added.

The streets Diana had walked down were void of people, even the plants had been mutated, everything looked like it was from someones nightmare, slowly filling her with fear

"Don't worry, I have no intentions of converting him." She says with a smile of her own that fades a bit as she continues speaking. "Legion is strong. Very, very strong, and sinister. They stabbed a woman's daughter right in front of her mother, just to use her as a hostage."

She could see some Grimm wondering about, not doing anything, some even looked her way, staring her dead in the eyes, but didn't attack, they just turned around and continue their wondering

Seeing the creatures she got scared, never seeing anything like them before. She created a gun with her nanites just in case one decided to attack

"We should. Maybe we can save them before it's too late." She says before looking outside. "I shouldn't have let him go by himself. It's too dangerous to travel alone."

"Is this how being a hero works, or am I being set up here?" She asks.
