Roxie smiled and glanced out the window seeing the pink haired man. "Oh that guy again. Looks like he could use a hand. " Hunter went to the door. "I say we get half the loot if we hello him. " Doctor wolf looked at them. "Do I not have the say on who can enter my lab?"
Peter calmed down. "Sorry. The equipment was teleported to my house from the Hero League. The research is still taking place but initial tests are promising." Peter said. "I jumped the gun and got too excited. Sorry."
Tanis jumped from the roof and looked around. He walked into a building unwittingly entering the Hero League Headquarters. "Excuse me. Does anyone know how to get to a ppace called california?" He asked.
Leonidas kept running. "You won't catch me!" He yelled.
Watcher was leaning against the front desk, obviously waiting for him. "Yeah I know the place."
Roxie laughed when Wisp made the portal dropping Leo in.
Leo Jumped as the portal was made. He landed on the sidewalk as the cops fell through. "That was weird." He said.
"Well guess I gotta get some money somewhere to invest in this..." He began thinking.
Karma stared at this new player with litle surprise. His arm was still in pain but he could probably lie his way through it. "Hey!" HE shouted. "You okay?" (I'm still sick so I haven't been checking as much sorry. Also i'm okay with anyone hopping into the general story i've got going on no problem.)
"Okay but why are you getting involved in this?" He asked. "You're new to this town."
"Something wrong? I heard you were in debt but how bad can it be?" Peter asked.
"I am a member of the Grey Order and I believe someone is in danger." Tanis said.
The girl looked at him and repeated the question "are you ok?" She asked curiously
"Okay follow me then." He headed to the elevator
"what is it with people in this town and caring about people they don't even know?" Karma said. "Yes, i'm totally fine, and nothing is wrong." Karma''s shoulder was red, the wound having bled through the shirt.
Tanis followed him.
Watcher just had the elevator take them straight to the floor where the teleporter was located. "Do you need anyone to go with you?"
The men ignored her as they ran for the alleyway. MEanwhile, inside the alleyway, Karma had pulled his pistol, finding it difficult to aim with one arm. The first Gangster rounded the corner, and Karma shot, hitting him in the stomach. The rest came around the corner and Karma dove to the ground as gunshots roared overhead. well this is about as good a place to die as any, he thought.
"No." He said.
"Couple million." He said.
"Wisp send those guys away" she said seeing the police come through the portal.
