He sighed and pulled out a gun and shot the one that sprinted with a Glock.

The one that ran managed to dodge the gunshots before taking a turn and running down another street

The other one stepped in front of Joey "why do you care about laws of hell halfling?"

"I'll introduce you to the others in due time. That is, if you haven't already met them." He said. "Now, I have a question for you. What is it that you strive for the most?" As he asked, his power secretly activated, scanning Hunter's mind and emotions in search of any insecurities, desires, and frustrations.

"I want to run the family business" she said simply. "I want to run the gods assassins." Her main desire was exactly what she said. An insecurity she had was not being good enough for Tyson and she hated being ignored.

She was already skilled in all of her weapons and it wasn't like her powers were really that impressive. Talking and controlling animals was a pretty minor power. It went like she was able to use it often.

I know you want to be better, but you know you can't be the way you are now. Your skill with weapons is quite impressive, but you're just a civilian when you're unarmed. You're no longer a threat."

"Anyone that stands against us." Gradius said. "Your enemies become our enemies and vice-versa."

As Eris departed the spa, she noticed a strange man hunched over slightly as if he was an animal on the hunt, running down the street, occasionally sniffing at the air
