"And so I-" Suddenly Edward's phone rang. He picked up "Hello? Yeah... wait that's tonight? Shit." He hung up "Sorry, I'm gonna have to leave early Doctor. Good day." Edward then got up and immediately left the room "Well then, is there anything you would like to get off your chest?" Smith said looking at Maddy.
Allustra runs over to Gradius and hides behind him.
(He isn't busy actually.) Joey was busy smoking a cigarette by the ramen cart.
She stood up. "No there isn't"
"So first question what were the two of you talking about" Hunter asked
(... Edward is with Maddy...)
"Well if there ever is, you know where to find me." Dr. Smith replied.
"Okay" she walks out of his office
"We were talking about you of course." He says.
"Okay why" she asked
He chuckles.

Edward was long gone when she got out. A black cat sat on the floor in front of her and meowed. The cat looked up at Maddy and purred.
Joey looked over and saw the demons talking "Hey! Want something to eat?" He asked. They were able to tell that he himself was part demon.
"Offering a meal." He said "I gotta make money... and seems to me you two are here without Mephisto's permission. You better have a good reason for breaking protocol." He took another puff from his cigarette.
He slowly approached the demons "I'm afraid it is. You had better start talking before I rip you to shreds." He said with a smile "I haven't eaten demon flesh in ages."
"and this 'winning' team is who exactly?" She asked
Maddy knelt down. "Hi there kitty" she gently pet the cat.
"I'll introduce you to the others in due time. That is, if you haven't already met them." He said. "Now, I have a question for you. What is it that you strive for the most?" As he asked, his power secretly activated, scanning Hunter's mind and emotions in search of any insecurities, desires, and frustrations.
The cat purred. It had no collar.
He sighed and pulled out a gun and shot the one that sprinted with a Glock.
