"Hungry?" She snapped her fingers and a blur entered the church and left, leaving a burger combo at Maddy's feet. There was smoke rising from where the blur was. The smell of burnt flesh was in the air. "Eat then."

Tyson laughs. "Right. Wouldn't be much fun if everything were easy. Plus, I need this anyway. It'll help my training."

"Training that you should stop complaining about." The wizard said from the book.

"But complaining's part of my training." Tyson said.

"No it's not!" The wizard answered.

"It is to me!" Tyson responded.

"How do you manage to put up with this insufferable lunatic?" The wizard asks Hunter.

Hunter laughed. "Well he is my lunatic so I put up with it easily"

"Allyson said Peter was able to stop one of the symbiotes with the help of some sound waves. She went off to work on something. I'm thinking that if we can find a way to harness the waves that he used, we could weaponize them and use them to free the other enslaved heroes." Tyson said.

"Why just cause I don't want vengeance? " Maddy growled. "I watched as a symbiote killed one of my friends and made me break my fiance's heart. Then I killed my other friend and watched him die.. sorry if I really just don't feel like doing anything right now."

"And that is why... you were never really a hero." Sae replied "My friends, my fiance, my weariness... it's all about you. Do you not realize what would happen due to your inaction against the forces of Nyx? You give up now that your friend is dead, not realizing that more blood will be spilled. For once... think of someone you have never met, think of their safety. Think of their dreams."

"Never a hero.." she muttered. "I do think about others. I help people all the time at the hospital...I'm a healer... " Maddy put her head in her hands. " I know what they can do..I know how many people could get hurt and killed because of them.."

"Probably around here somew-" Tyson suddenly gets interrupted by yelling in the distance.

"Ahh! Shadow!!!" Eris shouts and then she jumps onto Peter only to realize that it was her own shadow that she caught in her peripheral vision. "Wait, false alarm. It was just my shadow. Sorry everybody!"

"Well...I think that might have answered your question." Tyson says.
