Natalie Brenton
She angeled her fork at him to use it as a pointer, a smile tugging at her lips. "Darren, people herding is hero work. And until we get you some equipment, you'll get your ass kicked outright by anything above human I'm afraid. Well...more accurately you'd probably get lodged in a wall and then I'd have to pull you out." She gave a soft laugh, shrugging. "Hang around her enough, you'll start to notice other differences. But yea, constantly bad mood is the first thing most people would notice. Yea, we're going to pick up Jupiter, I requested a rental last night so we have that. I remember hearing about her when I was younger, honestly. A boy in my orphanage practically ran a fan club for her, with four other kids."
The drive to Jupiter's place was entertaining, at least to Natalie. How the hell did people in L.A drive like such garbage in the rain? Didn't it rain a lot here? She honestly preferred driving on the right side of the road personally, it let her turn right on red. A literal godsend. Unlike the other drivers on the road however, she apparently knew what the fuck she was doing in their car, a cool blue sedan. She had made a stop at a store on the way to grab some trail mix and capri-sun, because snacks were important dammit! She also grabbed Darren anything if he had requested it.
A soft giggle escaped Nat as she watched Jupiter come bouncing out on one foot, waiting for her to join them in the car. "No problem. Everyone who lives here is god awful at driving in a storm, it was comedy to me. Nice to meet you finally as well, honestly. I'm private sector, I work for the church. Protestant and Catholic predominantly, I do a lot of travelling because of that. Actually got to go to the Pope's birthday twice, that was fun. Might tell you about it later. I'm surprised I didn't tell my partner here about it yet." Reaching into the plastic bag from the store she reached her hand back, a package of trailmix offered. "Want some, before I score ten bucks off you? Tell me about this Sarah."
