Zero nodded, taking the egg and purred. "I name her. Name be Natsu" (Because I'm bad at names) He said. "Thank you, human"

 

[Reaper]

"You're welcome." He patted Zero on the shoulder, before walking away.

He stood outside and lit a cigarette. Andrew approached him.


"So change your mind about leaving, did you?"


Alex shrugged, "Maybe. This is the first good thing I've done properly. Maybe I can keep it up."


Andrew laughed. "This place has really changed you. Pretty soon you'll quit smoking and shine your shoes before bed."


Alex punched Andrew in the shoulder. "Oh shut up."

Zero had actually gone back to the nest he made in the marsh, burrowing down into the mud and wet grass and curled around the egg. He was purring all the time now, he was almost near unseeable since he was so far burrowed into the mud. It would take days to months for the egg to hatch, just depended on the egg and when it wanted to see the world.

At the school, the front doors opened and Zero showed himself. He stood up, looking over his shoulder at the smaller being clinging to his back. It was Natsu, and she wasnt the same color as Zero but having a more bluish tint to her like all females had. She hatched two days ago and was the size of Zero's torso. Her eyes were closed.

Zachary nodded, he was about to ask something, but figured it wouldn't be appropriate to ask about his wife, seeing that she died, or so he had heard

Kage had been walking, not really thinking about much but what else they could possibly run into when she saw a big lump of something dead not too far away. "Hey, check that out!" She said, speeding up. When she did come upon it she was surprised, "No way!"

Fawns portal opened at the mountain, Arcer came through, still a bit away from the beast's last place before death "That good-for-nothing brother better not be involved with this..." he said as he sighed, Fawn came through the portal as well "You know, it's been quite a while since we've visited here, we should be cautious, this time, we have to make sure we can actually capture him, the Order is growing restless, who knows what they would do if their patience ran out" Arcer laughed "You're not the usual one to be bowing down" They floated steadily toward theit destination, though Kage would have plenty of time leftto actually get a clear look at what happened

Kage looked up from looking at the Beast's wounds and thought she saw something. She sighed in irritation, "C'mon now, I dont feel like tanglin' with a couple of shitheads" She muttered, opening a shadow hole under her and reappeared in a tree to where she was hidden and watched.

The pair landed, Arcer frowned "This isn't my brother's work, it's been slashed by a sword, not infused with any elemental properties... Not any of our family at least" he said as he surveyed the area "I don't sense any Aetherial energy besides my own here" Fawn kneeled and put her hand on the beast, it desintigrated quickly, disappearing into the air as tiny lavender particles "Are you sure? Seems like he and the shadow girl were the only ones who actually could match it" Arcer laughed "Those two are but pushovers, my brother isn't even at a tenth of my power, and that shadow girl isn't one to worry about, I'm suprised she survived after she was beaten up, she looked like she lost all moral sense"

Kage scoffed, oh did she want to show them who lost moral sense! But she stayed where she was, she didnt want to admit that she would be torn apart so she didnt. How did they even do that? She watched as the dead beast disappeared. What where they doing? They were sure full of themselves though, sheesh. Narcissistic people.

((As this was a timeskip, every participating character should at least have increased in power a bit, right? I'm going to keep Arcer and Fawn at their original level of power though, just so it wouldn't be ruined by unbeatable antagonists))


Fawn looked up "Back when I attacked the academy she was one who tried to stop your brother, she was the one who got through to him the most, as well" Arcer grinned as a response "So they actually are befriended, or are they something more than that? Either way it sounds almost too good to be true, if we were to capture her, he would probably come looking for her then"


The lavender-haired woman stood up and shook her head "The order specifically said to capture the youngest Colans, we can dispose of them, but the original plan is still in place" she turned toward Arcer and looked him straight in the eyes "Don't make things more difficult than they already are."

Wow, these two were assholes! She wondered if even Shadow Kage had more regard for life then these two. And how was anything difficult for them? They seemed like they could kill anyone like that and they didnt. They sure did talk a lot though, yeesh. If she were them she would have considered capturing someone, it seemed way more easy then difficult to deal with then full on killing someone. Good thing they seemed at least at the level of stupid.

Arcer frowned and stood right before Fawn, he was atleast 2 heads taller than her. His fist clenched as he spoke "Don't take me for some fool, runemancer, I have no business with the order other than to get what I deserve, If you keep talking about them like they were some sort of gods and keep commanding me I'll make sure you'll have more to worry about than them" his voice was deeper than usual, Fawn stood there lookiung at him, as she thought to herself 'Is this guy serious, he knows that the order are more powerfull then him...' She then noticed her hands trembling 'Am I seriously intimidated by this guy?' Arcer turned around "We should get moving."

Oh dang! Huh, if ya piss this guy off enough he turns into the person with the leash instead of the dog. Interesting, looks like he got some balls after all. Though where are they going? She kind of watched to follow them, see where they go so she was going to do just that. So what did they do with the Beast? Is it gone now or what?

Arcer snapped his fingers, two fiery stone wolves rose from the ground "Find me my brother, and the shadow girl, I'm going to take the lead from now on, got it?" he commanded, not even turning to face Fawn "Hmph, doesn't seem like I have much choice, seeing I don't know where your brother is."

Zachary smiled as he and his protegee exited the school building, reaching for his phone "Kage asked me to come to the forest, seems like she found something, care to tag along?"

Kage scoffed again, hmph, these guys werent going to do nothin if they couldnt find them. Alright, time to be the spy! She opened a shadow hole and reappeared a ways away from the two. She pulled out her phone and called Zachary, he had best pick up!

Zachary prepared to summon a transport for them, however he got interrupted by his phone, he looked at it and frowned "Kage?" he said as he picked up "Me and Jing were just going to go to the spot, we'll be there in a few minutes"
