Alice nodded, and watched him go. "Maybe I'll stop by to visit..." She said, as he left, then to herself she followed up, "...Some day." She sighed, and inspected the watch before sliding it into the pocket of her 3/4 length jacket. With a final glance around the room she made sure that she had all of her and Alexander's things. She would not miss this place, though she did kind of wish she had gotten to say farewell to Lydia. It seemed that wasn't going to happen though.


After that, she left the school, and headed back home.

 

[Reaper]

"Zero, if I believed what you do, I would've let you die yesterday and your race would be extinct. Think about that next time you kill someone. It could've been you."


 
Alex passed Andrew. "Hey, have you seen Alice around?"


Andrew thought. "Hmm which one was alice.. Oh yea the one you talk about? You just missed her. She just headed on out."


"For how long? I have something to tell her." Andrew said.


Andrew shrugged.

Zero growled, though turned away. He didnt think about that, but he didnt want to admit it. "Human talks sense" He snarled quietly. He had been thinking about something but he wasnt sure if he should say it out loud. He wrung his clawed hands together in thought, his pupils going from thin to round in the matter of a few seconds but the kept going between the two.

 

[Reaper]

Alex turned back around. "I'm sure she will be back soon. Why are you fidgeting, Z?"

 

[VanRIPPED]

Zero looked up. "I... I not supposed think of this. But use of human help, and you ability, be able to create more of species? I species?" He asked hesitantly. His species hated any help from other species and something like a genetically created being was shameful. But he was getting lonely, he wanted others like him that wouldnt yell at him for his actions.

 

[Reaper]

"Ive never even though of that..." He pondered it. "I suppose if I could learn more about your species it could be possible.... Do you lay eggs? if so that would be infinitely easier to recreate."

 

[VanRIPPED]

(Ooh did you know the Sanghelli from Halo lay eggs?)


Zero nodded, "Lay eggs, yes. What need to know?" He started to act a little more giddy, a smile on his face and pupils full round. He was going to get his species back!

 

[Reaper]

"I need an egg. If you get me even a shell of one of your kind's eggs, this will be much quicker. Also I'll need some of your...... Chromosomes...."

 

[VanRIPPED]

Zero blinked, a shell of his kind? He... He didnt think anything besides himself did escape. Wait, didnt he grab an egg before he escaped tot he tunnels? Oh yea, the egg that was already dead... He didnt know if he had it with him, no he didnt. But those tunnels went all the way from his hoe marshes to over 100 miles away from the academy. He had lived in those tunnels forever almost after he escaped. "Follow" He said, starting to run really fast out of the school and headed South of the school.

 

[Reaper]

"Just bring it back here when you're done!" He yelled. "It needs to grow here!"


Andrew approached Alex. "Do you really think you can make new life?"


"I know I can. It's just a matter of how much time it will take."

 

[VanRIPPED]

It took a few hours but Zero came back with an egg in his jaws but he seemed to carry it with such gentleness. He stood up and put the egg in his hands and offered the egg to him. "Even know dead, be careful" He said.

 

[Reaper]

He took the egg gently. "Alright. Now where do you usually lay your eggs, so that I know where the best place for it is. Underwater? In nests? Where?"

 

[VanRIPPED]

"Females lay eggs in damp nests, no need for keep warm. But protection from females important, I protect egg as grows" He said, almost purring.

 

[Reaper]

"Alright, well I need you to find a place that best replicates a nest, or you could make your own."

 

[VanRIPPED]

"Know place, marsh not far away from here" Zero said, running off and quickly made the nest to perfection and ran back. "Done"

 

[Reaper]

(Did he bring the nest or is it in the marsh?"

 

[VanRIPPED]

(It has to stay in the marsh)

 

[Reaper]

"Alright, now all I need is your... Male contribution, and I'll have all I need."

 

[VanRIPPED]

(Is that what I think it is? If so, the wonderful usage of skip will be used)

(Man... I just realized how that sounded... I'm dying.)


He pricked Zero's finger. "Now if you would please give me about an hour to work, I'll have a real egg."

Zero nodded, now being really giddy. He couldnt wait until he could see another one of his species!

He began working, first discovering the code of the egg, then combining it with Zeros DNA.
