Zachary did the same, as blood drained his skin turned slightly pale, he felt colder than usual, and a little weaker. "Phew, there, now, your part of the deal" he wasn't fond of controlling blood, even though it was just water it just didn't feel right

As the Moth drank it all up he sighed happily. "You both have been a great service, but I should be going" He jumped into the air and started to fly off. Blitz flicked his hand and the blade and chain dropped out of his hand and he lassoed the Moth around the neck and pulled him back to the ground. "And Ver do you sink your going? Ve had a deal" He growled, putting his boot down on the Moth's spine and hooked the chain like a collar and leash, the blade to his throat. "You make any sever moves and your own blood spills" He said, letting the Moth up who shook himself off. He pulled at the collar/chain and sighed. "Get v'aking" Blitz snapped. The Moth started heading back the way they came, knowing where to go.

Lydia scooted closer to the rest of her group."Um guys do you think we should leave now this place gives me the creeps."she said."But im not scared. serously." shr said quickly to clairfy that she wasnt scared.She wasnt Lydia was just a little creeped out with all the shadows and dead animals and by the fact that they were in Blitzes house!

Bael stood up from where he had been sitting. "No one else is here. I'm leaving," he told Seven. She nodded. He turned to walk away.


"I wonder where everyone is. They should be back," Seven thought out loud. "Alex is your room mate, right?"


He nodded. "That's right."


"Maybe we should look for them."

The owl shadow hooted, stretching its wings and looking down at the group. In the kitchen there was some deer jerky, and hanging from a bar above the cabinets a possum hung by its tail, paws tucked in and ears pricked. Just how it had died. Blitz didnt hunt anymore, but when he used to he would always be grateful for his kills.

Alex glanced around and said, "Hmm, well , I'm curious what the other two are up to, and Blitz doesn't seem to be home, so what's the harm in some innocent snooping?" Alice shook her head at her brother, "I think I'm with Lydia on this one, I don't want to find Blitz sleeping in here or something."

Lydia looked at Alex and then to Alice. "Shall we be off? Seriously this place freaks me out. Im just waiting to turn around and see Blitz standing there." She looked to the right and then behind her just to make sure he wasnt there.

Zachary wanted to stop the moth from escaping, however Blitz reacted way faster, now following the thing and Blitz "Know one thing moth, if you stab us in the back you'll expirience a fate worse then hell!" he said, it was half bluff, but knowing Blitz it should be true to some extent

Everyone's shadow started blocking the door, all hissing at them to not leave. No, shadow Kage wouldnt let them out that easy. No way, they were going to look around. And yet, she didnt even know what was in there.


Moth sighed. "Oh dont worry, even if you both dont hurt me then I will be torn apart by every shadow here. Your threat will not go unnoticed" He growled, hating he was chained up like a dog. Guess thats what he got.

"Nope, looks like we won't be getting out, so we might as well explore," Alex said, turning to head further in the cabin. "Let's see what's here."


Alice sighed, and said, "We should snoop through a strangers house, Alex, we weren't even invited in."

"What do you mean, our threat?" he knew this place was full of potential attackers, right now, they were most vulnerable, Blitz had the Moth to keep his hands busy and Zachary was a little tired, too tired to fight at his 100%, but it wasn't really noticeable otherwise

"You leave me be out in the open and I will be torn limb from limb. Its terrible here, a horrible thing to experience but it will happen once you make enough enemies" The Moth sighed, looking up and hearing Blitzwing roar. "You wont feed me to it will you?" He sounded like a child.

Lydia sighed and fallowed Alice and Alex through the house.She was starting to get tired. Glancing at her phine she saw she had one new text message but had no sugnal. "Dang it."

Above the hallway doorway was a deer skull, the antlers pretty good sized. Turn to the left there was a room with weights, a dumbbell, and many other exercise things. There was candles already lit in Blitz's bedroom, easily seen from the short hallway since the door was open. Above his bed was a mounted rifle with another smaller one mounted under it, his old rifle and someone else's, and on the cabinet beside the bed was a big hunting knife, stabbing into the wood and stood straight. On his bed was a lot of skins, deer, elk, bison. Beside the candle was a picture, the only picture in the house, and it wasn't about hunting, not really. It was Blitz, probably a few years younger, but he had a grin and one eye closed, his open eye looking up at a small girl who was on his shoulders and laughing, holding a line with a fish on a hook and wearing camo as well with black hair. Blitz was in camo and a camo baseball hat and boots. His right arm steadying the girl on his shoulders and his left arm around a woman that was holding a rifle, black hair and wearing the same as Blitz. She was holding up four squirrels up by their tails in her free hand and the rifle in her hand that was around Blitz's waist. She was smiling too, having white eyes and a symbol on her shoulder that was tattooed. A diamond with a circle in it. On the ground was a deer, a buck and a big one and Blitz had his boot on its body and his own rifle laying by the deer.

Lydia decided to lok around.She went into what looked like blitzes room.Entering the room she picked up a small picture frame and loooked at it."whos that?" she said trying to figure out eho the women was in which blitzes arm was around in the picture.

"Im sixteen. How old are you?"

A shadow crept in, it was shadow Kage. She stopped behind Lydia, "Oh her? That is his dead wife." She said in a whisper, a laugh under her breath. "Quite a shame how she died to, really. Blitz knew he shouldn't have let her hunt that bear alone..." She sighed, tsking. "Too bad to, a few years after that his baby girl Devin died because of a break in. The poor tyke didn't have time to scream for her daddy when the trigger was pulled."


Bonnie flicked his ears. "17" He said, actually thinking. He could have been older but he just dubbed himself 17/

"Are we going to be there soon?" Ashlee asked as she hung onto bonnies shoulder.

"Yes, we're basically here" Bonnie nodded, walking through grass toward a building. "And here we are, just cool aint it?" He asked, stopping and looking at the building.

Lydia was startled and turned around.After hearing what was said she asked:"Thats unfortuniate but who are you?"

"The thing everyone wants gone. It seems surprising, you seem like a soft being and all you can say about this is unfortunate. Maybe your as emotionless as I am, more a blessing than a curse. C'mon, let your shadow take you over. Ask Kage, she's dormant and alive while I'm in control. Its a win win"

"If you don't tell us how to heal Kage I'll make sure you get fed to Blizwing!" Zachary was getting tired of the games this moth was playing, every second that went by was a second lost, and if Kage died he wouldn't be able to get over the fact that it was his fault she was wounded in the first place.

Lydia was confused."let my shadow take over?" was all she said. She set the picture down and took a small step forward.

The Moth looked up, seeing the big dragon looming over them. "Ah, you actually got him to come aye? I see at a cost." He said, the Moth trembling in fear. "Come, I will show you where she is being protected." Blitzwing said, turning and taking huge strides toward the little cabins.


"Your shadow trails behind you always, loyal and never lets you down. Why not reward her? Let her have control for a while huh? She'll be even more grateful to you then before. It'll be the right thing for you to do, you want to do the right thing dont you?" Shadow Kage asked, a sly smile.

Zachary nodded as he followed the dragon. Even though they were following this dragon, he kept the fireballs up, for some reason, he didn't trust this Blitzwing, even though it seemed to be friendly, he just couldn't shake this feeling, he was tired, not only was this becoming a very long first day at the academy, he's also lost some blood, not to mention a broken rib or two, luckily he could still support himself, he would surely visit the nurse's office when they would come bacl/
