Tetra watched as the two fighters in front of her locked eyes in a silent battle of wills, it seemed. And for a moment, it looked like Samus had won as Dark Pit struck his bow into the ground beneath them with a shadow of a grin on his face.
But that, of course, all came to an end when Samus got a faceful of dirt! Tetra let out a surprised (and perhaps untimely) laugh when the bounty huntress spluttered and spat out some dirt as the angel flew away.
Nevertheless, even though that obvious display of rebellion clearly proved, at least to the pirate, that Dark Pit didn't want to stick around, the others seemed keen on catching up to him. As Sheik asked what their next move was and Samus began dictating orders to the group, Tetra felt a sense of irritation. Why did they have to follow her orders? And was nobody even going to answer her questions before she got dragged into all this mess?
Folding her arms tightly across her chest at the notion of having to travel all the way to the lake to get help and perhaps even have to return all the way back and then some to aid in the Dark Pit chase, the pirate declared, "Uh, no. I'm not going anywhere, you can't make me! What's so great about that guy that we need to go and worry about him, anyway? You guys offered your help, and he clearly doesn't want it, so why waste more of your time by running after him like this?" she planted her feet firmly onto the ground.
Tetra didn't care if she was being a stubborn inconvenience: In her eyes, Dark Pit was being the inconvenience to everyone else here, and she was not about to get sucked up into it!

As Agent 8 tried to make sense of everything, he heard a tearful voice right next to him accompanied by a warm hand on his shoulder. Agent 3, who was smiling but still clearly sobbing. Eight looked back at his fellow agent and gave her a small, reassuring smile. He felt his throat burn and eyes sting for a moment, and he looked away, not willing to let his emotions rise that easily. Ren was okay...everything was okay, for now at least...
The octoling looked up as he heard footsteps approach him and Three. Eight couldn't help but chuckle as Ren pat Three's head in a consoling way. They were such good friends, and seeing that they cared so much about each other warmed his heart.
Agent 8, leaning in to support his fellow agent's weight, who still seemed shaken up by the whole ordeal, walked himself and Three over toward where Ann and Joker had sat down. As the thief filled the group in on what he had discovered during his rendezvous, Agent 8 nodded in agreement to what Ann had responded with in terms of helping him. If everyone was so loyal and trusting of him, then Eight saw no reason to not put his faith in him as well. After all, he had promised Agent 3 that he would help her and her friends every step of the way now that he was here in this strange, new world. And it seemed that Noctis and Prompto were also keen on lending a hand.
However, all of the following words that came from Ren's lips only confused him. A million questions bubbled forth into his mind, but as per usual, he kept them to himself until they answered themselves. All he could understand was that this Lunaris, whoever he was, was the one currently causing pandemonium and posed as a huge threat to the rest of them. They needed to find these Pillars of Creation and Destruction as well as allies that were scattered far and wide...the agent's head swam. This seemed like a monumental task.
As Eight turned his attention onto Nurse Joy instead, some of his questions were answered. These Pillars were necessary for them to be able to defeat Lunaris and acted as a safeguard against the greatest sorts of threats one could pose. And this Wandering Quill person, she had laid out a guide for them in the form of a poem. Now that this information had been relinquished, the perilous task no longer seemed impossible. Difficult, yes, but not impossible...
