Well, Pit is known for breaking the 4th wall! He'd probably feel awful had he known the song was played during a moment that might have been emotionally painful for Pyra and Mythra.

This one isn’t as trauma inducing and Pyra/Mythra are in their true form which shows acceptance of themselves and their real power but it’s definitely a charged moment and comes right before they decide to sacrifice themselves to save everyone. Also small cameo by Shulk at the end screaming about felling a god lmao

Metroid and Kid Icarus were both produced by Gunpei Yokoi and his team. KI used Metroid’s game engine, and iirc, KI: of Myths and Monsters used Metroid 2’s game engine. Both games featured Metroids (Komaytos in KI) as enemies. So, yeah, they’re sibling games. Or you could say Metroid gave birth to KI, but I think both Samus and Pit would draw the line on THAT lol

To add to this now that I'm more awake, there is a third version of the song featured in Xenoblade 3 and they went kinda crazy making it a battle theme rather than cutscene background music
