You can pick a spot for Steve to appear, or you can pick one of the parties already available and join them. Here's a copy of the recent map SheepKing made, which shows the current locations of most characters. Roxas and Cyan (Cyan not shown) are at the Ruins and have a very small party if want to join a smaller group.

roxas and cyan aren't together as far as i know (unless i misread and interaction actually starting). anywho roxas is a little ways away from the ruins and is open for any kind of interaction

Here's a quick recap

In the Jungle, Inkling was attacked by Bowser's army. Joker, Paula, Prompto, and Noctus came to the rescue, but Bowser was able to grab Inkling and leave with her. The others are trying to figure out how to help her.

Sora, Pokey, and Pichu just escaped the Primid-infested factory on the floating island.

In the Forest, Samus, Peach, and Pikachu are resting in Samus's gunship and figuring out their course of action.

On the coast near Beachside Town, Pyra/Mythra, Toon Link, and Pit are trying to help Jeff, who they found collapsed, and figure out their own course of action.

In Console City, Snake just barely escaped a bunch of wannabe bounty hunters.

Roxas and Cyan haven't met yet, but they're both in the Ruins, from what I've read.

Captain Falcon, Yoshi, and Shadow have just met in the Jungle.

SirPrompto15 I'm going to wait a bit before letting other folks take Sonic and Tails. While I have no limit on how many characters a player can have, you already have a lot of characters.

i understand he can still group with them, but part of me would like to explore other options since it kinda feels awkward throwing him into a pair that hail from the same universe plus i do have several groups with that have characters of catzilla's already. might be nice to rp with others so we're not always relying on each other to post ya know

Also, OMG PUT ZIDANE IN KINGDOM HEARTS ALREADY! Give FF9 some love! All we got is a brief appearance of Vivi. :C

I definitely liked SSE better, even if I was stuck playing as characters I don't normally play.

I wouldn't mind if the Adventure Mode from Melee made a comeback.

It was funny spamming Pit's Upperdash Arm on Dracula though, 'cuz it reminded me of the anime.

Thinking of taking afew liberties with Steve- I assume that anything he mines will work similar to in-game SSBU, in which Steve can't dig through the ground, but can harvest random materials, and place them down. He just can't technically break anything.

Or should I leave it so that everything just follows Minecraft laws, instead of SSBU? GrumpySwallow

That's a really good question!

I've no problem with folks taking liberties, and I have faith that folks here will be able to do so without making a character too powerful, or too difficult, for RP. Do what feels right to you!
