Welcome everyone to Suns of the Eclipse out of character chat.

It's currently raining so I'll likely post Marxis's introduction tomorrow. But feel free to post your introductions for your characters.

awesome. i'm a bit busy, so it might also take me a while to get the intro done. my goal is by tomorrow afternoon hopefully! ​

No worries, take what time you all need. I'll give it a week and a half for intros to be done, maybe we'll get some more people for the rest of the regions in that time. If not, everyone is free to take an extra empty region if they like.

Hellos, I did just see the overall introduction for the start of things and that is alot to go over. Seems like quite a start

Yeah, it may seem like a lot but I hope everyone enjoys writing out their introductions. Really there's only three things one needs to respond to but it should give you some ideas for how to do your intro, accounting probably the weather if you want for your respective regions.

In Alola, it was a clear night and a comfortable sixty-five degrees outside. The seas were calm and for all appearances it was just a normal evening for one young trainer who was destined to retrieve her starter Pokémon from Professor Kukui but she would end up receiving something more. In Kanto and Johto, the weather appeared to mirror each other, rain that had come through Johto from the west now raining down on Kanto, leaving the western region in fog while the eastern region was overcast and pouring down rain. Within Galar, which was connected to Kalos by train, the weather was cool and only forty-nine degrees, two hours from dawn having passed. In Iphiolon, one of the furthest regions on the continent Epsilon lying to the west of Alpha Continent, the evening of Marxis's twelfth birthday was going to be cold and rainy on the October morning he would begin his journey. Regardless, of the current time within the region one was, what mattered was they would all be arriving at one place and that was the Almia region.

So for hometown you have some options listed here. You're welcome to do either a game town or a anime town which you can find here: Unova - Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia

The moves for Bulbasaur are fine. You can also have an egg move which is listed....

Bulbasaur (Pokémon) - Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia and then scroll down to 'breeding'. For the egg move (if you want it), just put the 'egg' in brackets next to it. So for your choices it would be like:

Tackle-Normal/Physical
Growl-Normal/Status
Vine Whip-Grass/Physical

Ex for egg move: Ingrain-Grass/Status (egg)

Hope that helps and then you'd list the moves for your egg (1 egg move + all moves up to level 1). You can also have another pokemon if you want in your party but it's up to you since you're an assistant.

wut now? I dont really know what to do, ( I started less than seven hours ago and havent done a pokemon Rp 4 in 3 years)

You just need to do the following for your pokemon's moves:

Tackle-Normal/Physical
Growl-Normal/Status
Vine Whip-Grass/Physical

And then do the same thing for your egg. Eggs hatch at level 1 so your egg (when it hatches) can have any move up to level 1 plus 1 egg move. Your Bulbasaur can also have an egg move if you want.

Also, it looks like you would have tackle and leer as your moves for Jangmo-o so they wouldn't be egg moves so you could get rid of the egg part next to tackle.

But as for your introduction, research assistants would be hired by Professor Dracaena to work for him. You would likely have met him at some point prior to being hired (whether by an interview or some type of event prior the journey). You & at the same time SilverInu could have your introductions as being either at Almia waiting for the new trainers or you could travel with Ophelia (the unova chosen one) and likewise with Summer could potentially travel with the Aloan person on the plane or just reside at Almia waiting for the plane.
