[Sulfurix and Gilmore] Ranch loss

Vixi clung to Harrison crying. "No please no."She sobbed. She clung to Harrison and shook. She was angry and upset. Vixi shook with sobs. She would loose the farm with out her father. She finally pulled away and grabbed her phone. She called the sheriff.

The police hung about as they took photos. Vixi sat on the pourch, a blanket around her shoulders. She was staring at the ground she hadn't uttered a word. The sheriff couldn't get anything out of her. They had a blockade up and people were gathering. Vixi noticed Tom and got up moving the blanket off her shoulder. She walked over and tryed to reach over."I swear to god I will kill you.you did this I know you did."she said. She felt a hand pulling her away. "No, let go."She said and turned into Harrison sobbing into his shoulder.

He let her sob into him, gently rubbing her back up and down to provide some form of comfort for her. When she pulled away, he stood up with her and watched her call the sheriff again. Those bastards did this. He knew it. They snuck in here and did this. Harrison's stomach twisted to the thought.

When the police arrived, he stood by to talk to them since Vixi wouldn't. He knew they needed to know what was going on in order to pin this to Tom and Bill. He wanted so badly to go over and hug Vixi, to let her know everything would be okay...

Hearing her voice somehow over the crowd, he turned and jogged over to snag her shoulder before pulling her away and towards him. Oh he'd LOVE to beat the life out of Tom, but with all these cops, what could he do? "Get out of here," he snarled with venom towards the man as Vixi sobbed info his shoulder. He kept an arm protectively hooked around her, the other ready to punch this man if he took a step closer.

Tom smirked and walked away. Vixi went to strangle him, she was held back by Harrison. She couldn't control her tears. She clung to Harrison and let him lead her back to the pourch. She sat on the swing and wrapped the blanket around her. The sheriff walked over after a while."Vixi I am heading out we have everything we need."He said as they wheeled her father out in a body bag. Vixi nodded and bit her lip.She didn't say a word. She couldn't, she clutched to Harrison and shook with anger and tears. She was angry and sad.She wasn't reasy to let go of him.She wiped her eye's and pulled back a bit. She was silent. "What. .why..?"She couldn't even speak or think.she was shocked. Her father was gone and so was her mother. She was alone at 18.

His fist clenched at the smirk on Tom's face, but he kept a firm grip on Vixi. He didn't want her to get arrested for assault. Harrison pulled to to him to lead her to the porch and up onto the swing, sighing softly as the sheriff walked over.

He let her cling to him, placing his cheek on the side of her head to let her fit more into the crook of his body to help her feel safer. Looking down to her when she had pulled away a bit. He lifted a hand and used his thumb to gently wipe her eyes, brushing away the tears on her cheeks. "It's going to be okay, Vixi..." He said gently. He knew this was hard on her. "I got you," he assured, lettings his arms give her a gentle squeeze. Harry pulled her back into a hug to give her as much comfort as he could.

Vixi clung to him. She hugged him and clung to him.Vixi was staring at the pourch. She hadn't moved even when the sun went down. She had stayed silent, she finally moved and looked at him. Her eye's were red and puffy. "Your probably hungry, I should make you something. "She said and wiped her eye's. She sniffed and bit her lip. She took the blanket off, she didn't want to dwell on her father's death. She walked in it was eerily silent. Vixi bit her lip as she went to the kitchen l. She pulled food out and sniffed. She shook her head and whipped her eye's.

He fell silent as he held her close to him to help her calm down, rubbing her back in small circles. A sigh left his mouth when she started to get up and go inside to cook, quickly following after her. "You don't have to, I'll be fine. We can go to bed now if you want," he offered, walking over to where she was. His voice was gentle, knowing she'd been through the wringer today.

Vixi bit her lip and looked at him. Her eye's were big and had tears in them."I don't know what to do. I don't want to be alone tonight again, if you don't mind.I..." she couldn't finish her sentence. Her voice caught in her throat and she tryed to swallow the knot that had formed there. Vixi slid to the kitchen floor."Please tell me I am having a nightmare. "She said. She wiped at her eye's.

((I'm so sorry, I've been a bit distracted/busy more than usual, obviously..))

A small frown pulled at the edges of his mouth when she slid to the floor, following after. Harrison hooked his arms around her and pulled her over to him. "I wish I could, Vixi..." He said gently, keeping a protective grip on her. "I won't leave you by yourself, okay? Not tonight, not any night or day you need me," He confirmed to help ease her nerves. "I'll do anything I can to keep you safe..." He uttered into her hair as his cheek gently rested against the side of her head as he held her.

Vixi clung to him and nods. She burried her face into him and sighed. Vixi had stopped crying, but she was a time bomb, she could start crying at any minute. She just clung to him in her kitchen. She finally sighed. "I think I am just gonna go lay down upstairs. If you don't mind coming with you dont have to."vixi said. Her mind was telling her to go but her body wouldn't move from his embrace.

He kept his arms wrapped around her gently, letting his hand rub gentle circles on her back in a soothing manor. The past few days have been hell for the poor girl, he knew it. It all made his stomach twist, having reminded him too much of his own father and his own memories that plagued him. He knew it was hard. He knew it. He'd let her cling to him as long as she wanted to, as long as she needed to. Harrison let a small breath slide from his mouth as he heard her words. "I don't mind," he said, more than willing to let her keep him with her wherever she went. If that made her feel safe, then so be it. He wanted her to feel safe, to be safe.

Vixi walked up stairs slowly. She swallowed hard trying to get rid of the knot in her throat. She looked down the hall to where her dads room was. The cops had left it open and she stopped.Vixi shook her head and kept walking to her room.she grabbed sweats and a tank top."I think I will shower, if you want to change or shower as well."She says to Harrison. Vixi bit her bottom lip and went to her bathroom. She closed the door and turned in the light. she took her clothes off and went to jump in the shower. She turned it on and relished in the warm water.Vixi cleaned up and got out, she dryed off and dressed.Vixi unlocked her door and opened it slowly, she looked around her room and went to her bed. She pulled back her covers and slipped into her bed.Harrison wasn't back yet. She wrapped her arms around her legs and leaned her head in her arms as she stared out at the sky.

Harrison followed her up the stairs, letting his hand slide into his pockets as he went. He nodded to her words, "I'll come right back when I'm done," he gave her a comforting smile. He turned and went to where his room was, pushing open the wood. He didn't bother with turning on the lights, just letting the light from the hall illuminate his room as he went and turned on the bathroom light. He undressed and took a quick shower before getting out. After drying off, Harry tugged on a new pair of plain blue boxers, and then a pair of black gym shorts. Shaking his head out like a dog, he went and turned off the light before hearing his phone. He went and picked it up, answering. "Oh, there you are, Harry baby," his mother chimed, her voice tired. "Hey mom," he said, "how was work?" He questioned as he started for the door "Fine, just tiring," The woman sighed, "I wanted to call and make sure everything is okay with you. You need to come have dinner with me and your sister soon!"

He let a faint smile play his lips as he walked down the hall. "I'll tell you everything later, and I will. Just...not now. Sorry, mom. I'll call you later, okay?" He yawned slightly. "Alright, love. You get some sleep, Harry." She said, "goodnight, I love you." He returned the farewells before hanging up and shoving his phone in the pocket of his jeans before walking back to Vixi's room. "Feel any better?" He asked cautiously, mostly so she'd know it was him walking into her room as he walked over to the bed,

Vixi jumped at his voice. She flinched and looked over.once she registered it was him and what he asked. She nods "yeah peachy. "She said. And breathed in. She wiped her eye's and sighed. "I am not sure if I am or not. I feel empty and cold. I am so sorry for everything that has happened in the past few days of you being here.if you wish to go home.I understand. Your contract was with my father."Vixi said. She watched him closely. Would he leave. He was free to go after all and it was all her mess that she dragged him into.

A worried frown slid onto his features to her first answer, coming to a stop on the side of the bed she wasn't on, where he could slid into it in a second. His eyes gently scanned over her face. Leave? Why on earth would he leave? She needed him now more than ever. Harrison shook his head, lifting a leg fo he could slide into the bed. "I'm not going anywhere, Vixi. I don't care about that contract anymore, I care ab..I care about you, okay?" He had stuttered for a second, but he had to force the words out so she would know, without a doubt, that he wasn't going to leave her here alone. "None of this is your fault, and I'll do anything to keep you safe, okay? He slid over a bit to where he could pull her into a hug, holding her close. "I'll be here as long as you need me," he confirmed, without a doubt in his eyes.

Vixi leaned into him and looked up at him."Then I am not sending you away. I just giving you the choice to let you know I am not keeping you here. I am not forcing you. "She said. She looked up at him, she kissed his cheek."thank you."She said and slipped down to sleep and lay next to him. She cryed herself to sleep. Vixi couldn't believe it had happened.

The days passand she stayed quite as she worked. Her smile gone under an ever lasting frown of sadness. She had slept every night in his arms and would barely eat or move from his side. This morning was different, she layed in bed his arm was around her. She starred at the window as the sun rose. Tears stained her cheeks, today was the funeral of her father and the day she promised to go to the city with him. She would leave the farm in the hands of another farmer, she trusted. They would watch the farm for two days. She was worried, but she kept her promise.

He let one arm hold her close as she cried herself to sleep, and then proceeded to stay awake for the majority of the night. Before he had fallen asleep, letting his fingers gently stroke her hair, he vowed to himself that he'd do anything to help her. Anything he could do. Those two men would have to go through his cold dead body before they'd get to her.

During the passing days, Harrison let the silence dwell on, knowing she didn't want to talk. She had been through the wringer, with loosing her father, and he wouldn't push her into anything. But her kept to his promise, one he made to himself, to keep her safe. He let her keep close to his side, held her at night, and did everything he could to try and help. Currently, he was staring at the ceiling with an arm secured around Vixi, the sun rising on the funeral day. And after that, they'd stay in the city for a bit. Get her away from here. His mother already had the guest room set, even though he knew she'd probably still want to curl up in his bed by him like she had been doing. He didn't mind, of course. Looking down to her, he lifted his hand a bit so he could gently brush her tears away with his thumb, saying nothing for now.

Vixi felt his hand and knew he was awake. she rolled over onto his chest. Her heart felt like it would beat out of her chest. She swallowed and tryed to bite back a sob that was working it's way up her throat. She hid into his chest and breathed in his scent. He was comforting and had helping her. She felt bad about being silent the past few days."I am so sorry. "She finally said."you are being so kind to me and I haven't said a word for the past two days. I am sorry I am not ignoring you and I appreciate you being here and helping with everything."vixi said through tears into him.She sniffed and wiped her eye's.

Vixi finally got up slowly. She pushed a hand through her hair.Vixi went to shower and dress in a black dress with black boots and a black hat.she sat on her bed waiting fir Harrison m he had been the only thing keeping her from falling apart all together. Vixi was barely holding on by a thread. She looked at the clock the funeral had been set up and was arranged. Vixi stared at her floor with a slight frown. She didn't want to tear up or cry anymore. Not that she could help it.

As she rolled onto his chest, Harrison shifted up a bit to hold her more, rubbing his thumbs in gentle circles on her back. A small frown pulled at his features to her apology, using one hand to lift her chin up. "I don't blame you, I know it's hard." He murmured gently to her, brushing away one of her stray tears before allowing her to get up from his bare chest so she could go get ready.

He went to his room, showing quickly, drying off, and then getting dressed. He pulled on a nice pair of black slacks, slid the belt through the loops, and then pulled on a black collared shirt. A sigh left him as he rolled the cuffs up. He knew Vixi was going through a hard time, even though his father was...nah, he didn't even want to bother with even thinking about that man. Combing his hair neatly as he headed back to her room after putting on a pair of dress shoes.

He went into her room and over to where she sat, kneeling down and gently wrapping his hands on her arms, just above her elbows. "You ready...?" He asked gently, eyes searching over her face, giving her a gentle squeeze.

Vixi looked at him and shook her head no. She wasn't she didn't want to say goodbye. Vixi stood slowly and bit her lip. She walked with him down the steps. Vixi breathed as she opened the door. She looks and fixed his collar. She nods and kissed his cheek. She walked to where the funeral was set up.

Vixi sat in her seat. She watched the casket the priest started talking and she fanned herself and watched. The precession went on. When it came time to father. Every one put a flower on the casket Vixi put her rose last and sighed

"Good bye father, you were a good man."She said and stepped back. She held back tears and leaned into Harrison. She breathed in and wipes at her eye's.She nods to him "we should go."

A small sigh left him as she shook her head, but he said nothing as he followed after down the steps. He almost kept going as she went to fix his collar, having been lost in thought, but managed to stop just in time for her to fix what he was too foolish to noticed. "Thanks," he murmured gently after she kissed his cheek, following suit after her towards the funeral.

He took his seat next to Vixi, giving a quick glance at all the faces around the area to make sure those two snakes weren't here. Harrison returned his gaze to the priest, glancing to Vixi every now and then to make sure she didn't need him to give her some kind of comfort. When the time came, Harrison went up and respectfully placed the flower he had onto the casket, jaw locking as he bit back anger against the two men he KNEW murdered this innocent man.

As Vixi leaned into him, he hooked an arm around her and placed a kiss to the top of her head, "I got you," he murmured gently into her hair before leading her away so she wouldn't have to dwell in a place he knew hurt her.

( sorry phone being stupid Hudson came up but I put Harrison. )

Vixi went to his truck and wiped at her eye's. She went to grabbed her bag off the pourch. She looked at her phone. She had one message. She opened it, it was from her father. She read an" I love you be good the frame is yours."She sank to the pourch steps and tryed not to cry. When she wiped her tears again the message was gone her inbox empty. Her mind playing tricks on her. She took her hat off and ran a shaky hand threw her hair. She had already said good bye to her horse Thair. She had spent the last few days with him. She saw a woman walk up.

The woman sighed. "I am so sorry Miss Adelaide Vixen." She said. She hugged Vixi and smiles. "Will see the farm is taken care of."she said. Vixi sighed and nods. She hugged her"Thanks."She said and went to his truck with her bag she threw it in the back and got in.Vixi wiped her eye's again. She sniffed and looked out the window leaning back.

Harrison went and started to fix his truck up, letting Vixi have a few moments to herself. He knew not to crowd her. A sigh left him as he turned, watching a woman walk up to Vixi and give her a hug.

He stayed still and watched for a second before finishing packing the truck up, and then opening the door for Vixi. He shifted his gaze to the woman, giving her a sorrowful, but thankful, smile, before he also got into the truck. Turning the keys, he glanced over to Vixi as she looked out of the window before he pulled out of the drive, and onto the roads. He thought some times away would do her good, and maybe around two other women, his mom and sister. He had told them what happened, And they wanted to help.

Looking over to her, a gentle look crossed his features, "it'll be okay, Vixi," he uttered quietly before returnignn his eyes to the road as they went.

Vixi nodded and wipes her eye's. She put her hand in his. She fell asleep in the truck leaning back in her seat she woke when the car stopped. He had put a jacket over her.

Vixi looked up and around. The sun had fallen. She blinked and looked around. The city was different, cars every where. Big building. Her hand went to the door handle. She stopped vixi wasn't sure what to do. She looked around where was Harrison. She started to panick. She looked around, had left her to sleep in the truck in some strange city."Harrison? "She asked
