Realistic or Modern Subject conversation area

Alright, I'll give everyone until tomorrow to finish up their CS before we kick this off!
 
Hey there! I'm very interested in joining, but before I start working on a character sheet I was wondering if I could get an explanation on the different categories of mutations?

I don't want to stress you out but you'd better be fast in creating a CS then!

But yeah, regarding mutations.

Most of the experiments are very volatile as they fundamentally change the subject's body, meaning that there is always a possibility of mutation occurring that's outside of the scientist's expectations.
Mutations can fundamentally alter what the subject's capable off and more often than not mutating is a direct response to stress or not doing everything 100% as the procedure planned, meaning slight deviations in (I'll be using my character as an example here) iron intake or heavier expression of one's power over the intended limit might cause the subject to mutate.

Mutations can manifest in a variety of forms, be it just strengthening the power at the cost of making the subject unable to control it or even causing serious injuries in their bodies in form of weird tumor-like growths.
Keep in mind that the procedure in itself already completely alters the person's body, and mind, and thus the leap from calculated acquiring of powers to unpredictable mutations is an easy one.

It's up to you, depending what angle you want to take on your character's introduction.

It's not going to be that important in the long run anyways!
 
HEY Vampunk. I wonder if it's possible for a pyro to be some test-subject. If there needs to be a realistic element besides "FANTASY LIKE PYRO" i can do that easily. I just do not know how much work you want in specifics my dude. Once i have a general idea, this broken mind shall make a broken character for this rp!

Realistic elements make this more interesting so being able to scientifically explain the powers is a big plus :)
