"Thanks..." Kelas started to eat, to hungry to notice the dry taste. He looked as if he hadn't eaten anything today.

"So, what really happened to Tyrako?" Vanessa questions, lying her hands on the table. "Did he get hit?"

"Oh . . ." Vanessa reaches across the table for his hand. "He'll be okay."

---

Later in the morning, they wake up, and wait for Tyrako to follow.

Vanessa sits on the edge of Tyrako's bed, like she's praying that he'll be awake. She places her hand over his, whispering, "Please, please, wake up."

Come on, come on, please wake up. Her pleading won't do any good, but she does it, anyway. She rests her forehead to his knuckles before kissing them awkwardly. "Please wake up," she mumbles.

Vanessa flinches slightly when she feels something move. Her eyes widen when she sees Tyrako's finger move. "Tyrako?" She whispers. She brings her lips to his hand again.

Tyrako looked over to Vanessa, his eyes barely open. Kelas noticed and found that his brother was awake and he smiled, through tiredly.

"Oh, thank God, you're awake." Vanessa closes her palm over his hand, trying not to cry. She can't believe it, but she's also really happy.

"Where am I...?" Tyrako asked quietly, looking around the n back at Vanessa. "A hospital...? Damn... What happened...?"

"You got hit by some asshole," Vanessa grits out. She squeezes his hand gently, her voice faltering. He looks so delicate right now. He's not even in any condition to sit up. "How are you feeling?"

"Here." Vanessa hands him a glass of water from the table next to the bed. She realises that she can't even lift his head on his own, so she places her hand on the back of his head, helping him. She looks at Kelas and smiles softly. "I'll go tell the doctor that you're awake."

Vanessa blinks as Kelas exits the room. Now, that they're alone together, she doesn't know what else to say. She decides to go for a little smile, her hands shaking in fear and nervousness. "You really scared me, you know?" Her voice is quivering.

"Looked like it..." He smiled weakly and chuckled. "Now calm down please. I don't want the doctor came in and pull you out." He said silently.

"Ah, I probably shouldn't even be here, anyway." She rubs her eyes tiredly, heaving a breath. She forces her hands to stop shaking, but she's already trying hard not to cry. "I'm just glad that you're okay." She smiles, her energy worn out. She swallows the lump in her throat and slowly starts to get up. "I hope you'll feel better."

"You can stay if you wanted." Tyrako said, wanting her to stay... What? Why? He asked himself.

She wants to. She really wants to. But she feels like she doesn't belong here. Kelas should be here, instead, because he cares about Tyrako the most. But Vanessa finds herself sitting back down on the bed. "Just tell me if you need anything." Her hand slips into his fingers, hoping that would somehow stop the trembling.

Kelas came in with the doctor and the doctor came in and checked Tyrako's health. "He would be able to go out next morning..." Kelas nodded. "Thanks doc." The doctor then came out and Kelas sat onto his chair.

Vanessa looks at the time on her watch and frowns. "I should go," she says, already standing up. "I don't want to impose." She smiles gently at the both of them. "I'll see you guys whenever, I guess."

"Alright..." Tyrako nodded sadly, not wanting her to leave. He sighed and talked with Kelas once she was out of the room.
