Personality: Nice and friendly to her close friends, Shy around most humans and is frightened easily. In a relationship with Watermelon Tourmaline and usually clings to her when scared or startled.


Reaction to other gems: She is good friends with the crystal gems but is terrified of homeworld gems, and is known to have terrifying flashbacks to the war.


Battle Style: Marine can use fight short range with her Roman Scissors but tends to use the extension to keep a distance.

Additional Gem Power: Tourmaline has the power to control and grow various plants for combat and for recreation and is even known to be able talk to them stating that they can't think like we do but have feelings.

Reaction to other gems: She is good friends with the crystal gems and is very skeptical and untrusting of homeworld gems as from previous experiences and the way they affect Aquamarine


Battle Style: Tourmaline is very quick and swift when battling, she usually darts twords her foe, attacking quickly before gaining a distance again.

History:Chrysoberyl was created solely to be a medic in the battlefield. She has some experience in fighting to ward off enemies she might encounter, but has more knowledge in healing injured gems to help them get back on their feet, and back into battle.

Reaction to other gems: "As long as they don't get in my way, I'm cool."


Battle Style: She's stronger from her arms than she is on her legs. She has an irregular, violent rhythm when she fights, and but is very predictable when enough time is spent with her.

Gem Weapon: Black feathered fan attached by chain to a greatsword that can shapeshift into a mini-scythe.

Can form obsidian armor around the arms and torso and her gem feeds off of conflict and negative emotions to psychologically manipulate her opponents. Her fan summons pillars of black flame based on the way she swings it.

Affiliation: Homeworld Gem


History: On Homeworld, Obsidian is a valuable gem, capable of defending its inhabitants from the toughest of gems and gem monsters. Once devoted to protecting the weak, her affiliation now lies with Homeworld's most power-hungry leaders. Their sinister methods tortured Obsidian for thousands of years, her gem power sensitive to their corruption. Her mind was twisted and warped until she could no longer bear it and her true self was flushed out by pain and sadness. Previously she worked as a hitman or a bodyguard to those who required her services. Now she is tasked with ridding Earth of its gem traitors, powerless to stop the blood already seeping through her hands.


Personality:


Quiet, gloomy and emotionally detached to the point where she is unaware of the pain within her. She speaks very little to her teammates but she speaks calm and politely when spoken to and doesn't flinch when given a direct order. From time to time she suffers from mental conflicts within herself when faced with a difficult task; she is often heard mumbling to herself when this occurs. An assortment of terrible memories can push her over the edge and send her into a frenzy at any time, therefore there is a device around her gem that seals her powers when out of combat.


Reaction to other gems:


She speaks calm and politely towards other gems but often ignores comments during a conversation if it's nature becomes more informal. When around her enemies she openly admits regret and sadness from the situation when forced to confront them. At times she comes off as rude or condenscending.


Battle Style:


Obsidian is a graceful fighter who can be both aggressive or cautious when the situation calls for it. She has a high attack and movement speed and attacks with her weapon using a variation of spins and body twists. She dodges attacks by contorting her body unnaturally. She is mostly a mid-range fighter but can attack from a distance as well.

Alias: The Queen of Thieves

Hair: Light grey in a long braid


Clothes: Tightly-wrapped cloth (kind of like a mummy) wrapped around her chest, upper arms, and from her hips to her upper thighs. She also has it wrapped around her face like Sheik from LoZ.

Gem Shape: Upside-down teardrop

Gem Location: Above the bellybutton


Gem Weapon: A knife that can expand its blade to become a dagger or scimitar


Additional Gem Power: Short-distance teleportation (works a bit like portal physics from Portal), immunity to psychic attacks

Affiliation: None/Homeworld if I can't do that


History: Jet's life began in the Kindergarten. She hated it, and left the canyon as soon as possible. She tried to ignore thewar for Earth because she didn't care either way. Jet semi-integrated into human society once that became a thing, and became a thief. She gained a bit of notoriety and infamy and was regarded as the Queen of Thieves.


Personality: Jet is very neutral and apathetic about most things and just goes with the flow most of the time. However, she is somewhat obsessed with money. She will do whatever it takes to get the biggest buck, even poofing and breaking Gems that are considered valuable and selling them (this doesn't happen often, though, she mostly just steals stuff).


Reaction to other gems: She usually doesn't act like she cares about other gems, but she does at least want to get to know them. However, if they have something she wants, she will gain their trust and stab them in the back later, sometimes literally. That applies to humans as well.


Battle Style: Her battle style is based on belly dancing in the same way that Amethyst's is based on club dancing, Pearl's is based on ballet, and Garnet's is based on Waacking. She is very elegant and fluid, although sometimes very rapid, and leads attacks with her hips, chest, or shoulders.
