November smiled when she heard the loud club music from afar. This was her first night out since moving to DC and she want to know if they were really as good as they looked. She had seen all the dance movies, but now she wanted to witness their dance skills in really life. Walking in past security, the Scottish young woman felt the base through the fabric of her baggy jeans and loos pink tanktop. Adjusting her beanie, November squeezed herself through the crowd and reached the bar. She ordered a Bacardi Coke and turned around to with the drink in her hand taking a sip.

Someone should come up with this kind of drink for pregnant women.
November thought. she hadn't had a drop of alcohol since she found out she was pregnant with Macey, which was about 3 years back now. She hadn't danced either and she figured that tonight might be a good night to see if she still got it in her.

In the corner of her eye, November noticed a circle forming in the dance floor. With a smile on her face and drink in her hand she walked over to see the dancing. Two guys were showing off towards each other to the sped up version of Darin's - Step Up. There was a guy in a white cap that looked at her and winked. November moved her weight to one hip and watched as the guy won with an Air Flare and a turn on his back. The guy walked up to November with a victorious smile as if he had won, but November walked into the circle and did the same Air Flare he had just done to challenge him. The guy pouted his lips and jumped up to do a kick and dropping down into a freeze, accepting her challenge. November figured that this really wasn't a battle, so it didn't matter if she lost or not, she was just hear to see what she could still do, so she stepped around a bit before dropping down for a Stabbed windmill before transforming into a back spin.

She felt her muscles ache a little as she moved, but nothing that she couldn't handle. November was a little out of shape, but she still knew how to dance.

Jace heard the music of his usual club he was quite well known there but he never battled he just normally showed off in front of the crowd but today was going to be different he was up for a battle. He approached the bouncer outside who was a close friend of Jace. Jace lowered his hat and walked straight past with a few. "What the hell why can he pass he didn't even cue up." from some people in the line. Jace ignored them since it happened almost every time he came here. He pushed his way though the crowd. He was topless with some baggy jeans and white shoes his normal attire. He made his way to the bar counter glancing at the normal circle that formed on the dance floor at about this time. He order a rum and coke.

Am I really going to get back into the circle in a battle. Jace thought to himself its been a while since he battled anyone not since the incident that occurred about 8 years ago he was still dancing just never went near a challenger but he has been practicing something he just couldn't show other wise since it wouldn't be as good.

He noticed they was already a battle going on which got his attention since he was planning to challenge the winner. He took a sip of his run and coke and watched the two as they battle. It was a regular who he has seen dancing a few times before who just jumped up to did a kick then dropped it into a freeze which was a normal thing to do.He then watched the girl who steeped around a bit before doing a Stabbed windmill before changing it into a backspin which Jace was impressed with since he has seen the dance move before but new faces always seem to impress.

From her back spin, November moved to a head spin and stopped on one elbow, legs in the air and holding her head. The guys she battled looked a little stunned and one November was back on her feet, she grabbed his cap and placed it on her head, showing that she was the winner of this round before grabbing her drink from a random girl she had handed it to, she walked back to the bar and asked for a glass of water. Once she got a glass she exhaled a tiring sigh. "I really need to work on my condition." She groaned to herself and cracked her shoulders. "No wonder most dancer stop when they're mothers. This is tiring." November took a seat on a bar stool and just enjoyed her drink and water. No matter how tiring, she thought. I have to prove that I can do this. I will not just give up because of Macey.

Jace was watching the battle with hawk like eyes not wanting to miss a thing which he normally did anyway. Jace had to admit this girl impressed him from a back spin to a head spin and to be able to stop on one elbow was something he had seen before but this girl seemed to put her own touch to it which made it flow a lot better. Jace wanted to congratulate her on her victory and challenge her to her next match since she was only two seats away at the bar it would be a easy thing to do. So Jace finished off his drink and walked over to the girl who just won the battle moments age. "Hey you're good you know you should come here more often not many of the good dancers are here today." Jace said looking at the girl. "Now the real reason I came to see you was two things. One to congratulate you on you're victory and the other is to challenge you so what do you say?" Jace said tiling his head sideways waiting for a answer.

Zia walked over the busy streets with a plastic bag into her hand as she could hear the music everywhere around her. Her shift from her job just ended and Zia was on her way home, she had just stopped by a night shop that was still open at this time and had bought herself something to eat. She grabbed the sandwich out of the plastic bag and began to eat, and how good it tasted after a long shift at work. Without her noticing Zia’s hips where shaking from side to side as she walked her way home, the music was really getting to her, but how much she would love to dance now, she just couldn’t. Zia took another bite as she gazed around her, it was busy at this hour and everyone was making a good time of their night. Zia halted her steps while she had her sandwich in her mouth as one of the clubs got her attention.

“I should give Tobias a visit, it has been a while.” Zia smiled as she walked up to the security who gladly let her in. Tobias was a barman in this club, They met on the most weirdest way when she came to live here. Tobias helped her get a house and with getting around this place, he even got her de job she had now so she was really indebt to him. Zia made her way through the crowd as she headed to the bar, she sat down on a stool as she watched Tobias make a drink. “ Passoa jus d’orange please~” Zia ordered with a smirk.

“Coming right up!... Zia! Long time no see girl!” He shouted loud as he handed the drink he was making to the customer before walking up to her as he began to make her drink.

“It really has been a long time huh.” Zia smiled as she began to play with a coaster as she watched him make her drink. “Sorry for that, I have been really busy with work lately. But I’m here now right? How are you doing? Did I miss something interesting? ”

“I’m doing just fine.” Tobias smiled as he handed her the drink she had ordered, Zia grabbed hold of the glass as she took a sip. “Trust me if I say you didn’t miss anything out of ordinary, there were only a few fights and some fainting drunkards who couldn’t handle their drinks. So nothing exiting.” He smirked as he gazed down at Zia’s glass that was already empty. “Want another one?”

“One more, but nothing more, you know what happen when I drink too much.” Zia smirked with a sad smile as waited for her drink.

“ So? It will be good for you, with this you at least dance.” Tobias smiled as he handed her drink. Zia paid for her drinks as she raised to her feet when she notice the excitement on the dance floor.

“That’s not going to happen, you know that Tobias.” Zia smiled a she gave him the plastic bag she had. “Hold on to this for me will you? I want to see what’s going on there, I will be back in a minute.” She then said as she made her way through the crowd without her noticing her hips that moved from side to side with the music.

“Your body is more honest than you are.” Tobias huffed at her, but she only heard half of it as she kept walking. She made her way through the crowd, but when she finally arrived at the scene it was already over, seems like she waited too long. Zia let out a disappointed sigh, she was hoping to see a dance battle, she loved to watch others dance. The different styles and moves was just exiting to look at. Zia made her way back to the bar as she was about to sat down on the place she was sitting before, but it was already taken by someone else, it was a girl, and she was wearing a loos pink tank top.

“Back already?” Tobias said as Zia took a seat next to the girl.

“Yep I missed the battle.” Zia growled disappointed. “Just hand me another drink will you.”

November looked at the dark guy, normal she would frown seeing people walk without a shirt, but it was actually hot in the room and she envied him. "Thanks." She said when he congratulated her, but bit her lip when he asked her for a battle. "Reign check?" She mumbled carefully, loud enough for him to hear over the music. "I havent dance in a while and have to get my condition back." She said, her Scottich accent thick as she spoke. "But if you buy me another drink, I might consider your offer. Just give me a second to breathe and catch my breath."

Jace nodded his head when she said Reign check since battling just after a battle isn't the easiest thing to do. "I take it you're Scottich and I know how you feel I have only started to dance again myself recently." Jace said picking up on her accent. "Well then what will you be having I ought to have offered you a drink in the first place to celebrate you're victory i'm Jace by the way." Jace said attempting to get the attention of his good friend Tobias the bartender but he seemed to be preoccupy in a conversation with another girl at the moment. That god dam player. Jace thought to himself smiling.

"November Samson." November smiled and shook the guy's hand. "And yes I am Scottish, born and raised in Edinburgh. Just a Coke is fine, I don't want to drunk when I battle, I do stupid things when I'm drunk. I moved here two years ago to start... Fresh, I guess." She said, liking this guy already. "So what do you dance? is your crew walking around here in this dump? Please tell me the dancers are better then this." She adjusted the white cap, trying to get her point across. "It's only my first time here and I already got challenged for a second battle... I hope for America to be a little better then this. Even Scotland would be able to beat their arse in the Battle of the Century." Too bad I can't go anymore. She thought.

Zia sat up from her hanging position as she heard the girl beside her talk about a battle, maybe she was able to see one after all. Zia gulped down her glass before turning to the girl.

“Are you two going to have a battle?” She asked exited as she was already getting looser thanks to the alcohol. “If so then warn me before you start! I want to see!” Zia smiled as she turned to Tobias. “Give me another drink!” She then smiled at him as she held out her hand.

“What happened to not drinking.” Tobias smiled as he was already busy making her another drink. “I still have your bag too, want it back?”

“ Don’t worry, this is the last one! And hold on to the bag for me for a little longer, I want to see the battle!” Zia then said turning back to the girl, and the guy that was talking to her. “When are you going to start?” She smiled as she couldn’t wait.

"Nice name." Jace said getting annoyed at Tobias. "Hey Tobias get you're ass over here and get the lady a coke would ya." Jace shouted as Tobias looked at Jace turned around and pulled a coke out of the fridge behind him, walked over the were Jace is and poured it into a glass handing it to the girl before quickly heading back to where he was just talking just next to him."Well I dance hip hop and break dance, I an't got no crew and here today are most of the rookies trying to look good are here today." Jace said slightly insulted that she was dissing the talent around here. Jace turned around as he heard the girl next to him talk "Yeah soon and i'll tell you when we are going to start."

"Or we start now." November said and drowned her Coke, getting up on her feet. She looked the girl with dark hair up and down. "But since you're so eager to see a battle, why not battle yourself? You against the winner between Jace and I?" She asked with a slight smile, seeing that the girl is swaying her hips to the base. "I can see that you can dance, so don't deny it." She walked up to the dance floor and waited for the others. "GET YOUR GAME ON!" She shouted through the music. "GIMME ALL YOU'VE GOT!"

Zia smiled as she heard the girl announce that they were going to start, she ignored her drink that Tobias just made for her and got on her feet, but as soon as the girl said that she wanted her to dance she froze. She looked up at the girl who smiled at her with a slight smile.

“No, I’m good. I don’t dance anymore.” Zia said refusing her offer, but before she could even finish her sentence she already walked up the dance floor.

"GET YOUR GAME ON! GIMME ALL YOU'VE GOT!" Zia heard the girl shout, Zia followed behind her still, determined to watch the battle anyway.

“Hold on to my drink too Tobias! I will be back soon!” Zia shouted at Tobias before disappearing on the dance floor.

Jace cracked his neck and smiled. Its been a while but this should be fun. He thought to himself following November towards the dance floor with a smug smile on his face looking towards the DJ who normally commentated the battles Jace nodded at him and heard November shouting Jace simple placed one finger at her as in to say one minute since he wanted to make it professional Jace jumped up and whispered to the DJ "Commentate this one would ya." Jace whispered as he jumped down and the DJ stopped the music. "Right now ladies and gentlemen have we got a treat for you now you all know Jace or well you should that guy that doesn't battle well he is going to now and his first battle is already sorted out with erm yeah that chick who won a battle moment ago so THAT'S GET THIS STARTED." The DJ shouted as he started the music again but restarted the song it was still the sped up version of Darin's - Step Up. Jace decided he would start. So he first dropped to his back and began doing a windmill on the floor with a quick transition to a headspin which used one hell of a lot of neck and back strength before quickly shifting his body weight to the side seemingly flipping his body on to one hand and preforming a jackhammer before kneeling with one leg with the other facing up resting one elbow on his leg and his head on his knuckles waiting to see what she would do.

Zia found herself a good spot to look at the battle, the DJ stopped the music as he announced the battle between the two. ‘This would be exiting’ Zia though as she heard the music start. She focused all her attention on the two as the guy started his dance.

November smiled and clapped her hand and did a couple of tumbler's backwards before landing in a split, straightening her legs, she got up ninja style and tossed the cap towards the girl from before, not knowing the name. Dropping herself to the ground, making it look like she tripped and made a hand glide and changed into a cricket. Making a couple of turns she changed towards an Air Flair changing that into a halo and stopped, freezing in spot in a prefect bow, legs together and head a couple of inches off the floor. She tipped her feet over her head and turned around when she landed, right in Jace's face. He was taller then her and she could feeling him looking down on her so she looked up and blew in his face before taking a couple of steps back, moving her hips more then usual. Wow, what a pregnancy can to to your hips. She thought with a laugh. Blue knocking me up maybe have been good more for my dancing skills than I expected.

"O DAM that girl got bark but Jace is still in this you should know whats coming ya'll Jace has that look in his eyes." The DJ shouted as the crowd roared. Jace put a smug look on his face he was impressed but he had a few tricks up his sleeve and it was time to use a group of moves he has been practicing together that he has shown the crowed a few times before but he was adding one more move. Jace still near the floor where his dancing is the strongest Jace didn't stand up but instead still in the same position he flicked his body back and went into a 1.5 air flare going around twice before transiting into a one-arm elbow track this was painful for Jace to do but he was used to it since this was one of his most used combos but he wasn't finished there he then want into another air flare but this time it was a one-handed air flare this was his usual combo but he was adding one last move to it which was a risk since he might not be able to perform this with his combo which already takes a lot of strength. His final move in the combo was a one-handed chair flare it would look a miracle that his arm didn't snap while doing this instead he seemed fine and to finish it off he push up off the floor with one hand into a front flip landing in front of November and for a laugh giving her a kiss on the forehead before backing up flicking his hat sideways and crossing his arms with a wide smile on his face. "DAM WHAT WAS THAT NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL A IMPROVEMENT now lets see what the Missy's got to offer." The DJ shouted nodding his head in astonishment.

Zia cheered loudly at the two dancers, it was heating up and the moves the guy just made where on a whole new level of what she had ever seen before. Zia turned her gaze to the girl, it was her turn now. How exited she was to see what she would do next, Zia let out a loud shout together with the crowd as she watched with tension.

November was smiling with her mouth open, she was impressed. More then impressed. This was awesome! November doubted that she could beat him. She had moves, but she was a little afraid to use them since she hadn't danced for 3 years. Waiting for the right time one the beat, she had a quick second to think it over. Blooky hell, I'm doing it anyways! She walked up to some random guy, using him as a pole, grinding up against him, getting a couple of whistles from the males in the crowd, before she did a flip backwards landing on her head and pulling a funny face. Putting her hands on the dance floor, she pushed herself and started going round, when she was going fast enough, she removed her hands and sped up by swinging her legs up and down. She induced the pain in her neck and scull, telling herself that it was nothing compared to birth and crossed her legs, making her spin at an incredible speed. November dropped herself into a spider and flipped herself doing a couple of airswipes before ending with a spin on the elbow as her legs we're pointing out to the side.

Once she got up, November laughed at her held and removed her beanie, that she had kept on under the cap, and moved her hand through her blond hair. "Cant believe I can still do that." She mumbled softly to her herself and looked back up at Jace, waiting for him to make another move.

Jace was shocked she still could pull something out of the bag to comeback and keep up with him but Jace still had some tricks of his own well not his own but another b-boy that he is close with one called Taisuke who he met at the Red Bull BC One event. Jace threw his hat in a random direction he then did a back flip and landed on one of his arm's he then did a elbow spin and span at a very high speed and from a high speed elbow spin into a elbow track continuing at such a speed and after a few moment of doing the elbow track he was going to pull out all of the stops. He went from doing a elbow track to some elbow flares he could feel pain in his elbows since he was mostly using them for this part. Jace began to remember another move which he was planning to do from the start of this section so from elbow flares into a move he normally wouldn't use since it wasn't his but he was going to anyway Taisuke criticals. Jace was moving at high speeds and managing to throw his body up in the air with ease even when it seems that he lacks a proper wind-up but he wasn't finished there he had one more move in mind in order to finish up. He went from preforming Taisuke criticals to a 1990s one-handed head stand and spining almost effortlessly reaching 26 spins in total. He stopped and slowly returned to the ground, end laying down and he stood back up.

"Dam one under world record." He muttered seeming angry. The DJ seemed to have given up trying to say whats going on and instead just started watching. Jace was just watching to see what see would do.

Okay, this guy is good. November admitted to herself, I'm suicidal. She thought and rubbed her face, thinking her moves through. If I get injured I have no more school and just stay home with Macey... "Okay, no down sides." She mumbled and turned around yo do a back flip in Jace's direction, but instead of landing on her feet she kept landing on her chest, making perfect circles. Her chest hurt, but she bit through the pain. She had only stopped breast feeding last week. After four circles, November turn in the air and on her head. She got down so that she was on her shoulder's spinning halos, pulling off her top as she did. She did a back spin and got back onto her feet, before running towards the DJ, ran up against his table did a screw flip before ending her battle with a suicide flip, landing flat on her back in front of Jace.

This is fun. She thought and got up, waiting for Jace to win the battle. She didn't have anymore tricks she could do with her condition.

Jace now had two choices he knew he could win now so he could either win it and gain some more reputation within the club where he was already very well known or he could let her win so she gained some reputation within the club Jace picked option two since he wont have lost much reputation but instead she would have gained a lot . "Nah I am out." Jace said as he pushed his way out of the circle and back towards the bar counter taking a seat next to the girl who was watching them and egged them on in the start. He order another Run and coke and waited for November to say something.

November frowned a little when Jace tossed the "towel" and walked after him, watching how he ordered his drinks. "What are you doing?" She asked not so kindly. "Do you think I'm a joke of some sort? You just threw the battle!" She was furious, which made the accent even worse, she figured he had tried to help her or something like that, but for her it was an embarrassment. A discrace for her talent. "Why the bloody hell would ya throw a battle?! I know you can beat me, so why didn't you?!"

Jace just put a grin on his face before laughing a little. "You know when you're angry you're accent shows a hell of a lot more its cute you should use it more." Jace said trying to defuse the situation. "And I never throw the battle you clearly won it fair and square." Jace said with a hint of sarcasm in his voice which he didn't mean to have but he did recognize her talent in general and in this situation were the tables turned and she throw the battle he would do the same as she is doing now.

(Sorry for replying late!)

Jude rubbed the back of his neck silently as he let out a soft irritated sigh, he was supposed to be working at the studio tonight but the idiot beside him preferred to go out instead. As if on cue his friend Richard or as he'd enjoy calling him now, Dick began to speak restating his earlier opinions.

"Teller c'mon I told you, perfecting can happen tomorrow. And their are some great dance battles here so imagine all of the good moves you're going to witniss?" The brunette exclaimed in the parking lot as they exited the car leaning onto the hood of Judes impala as he pointed at him,

"And all the chicks you can talk to tonight." Richard trailed off his face becoming blank as it lacked all emotions just before smacking himself in the forehead. then beginning to shake his head left to right almost to the beat of the loud music as he slammed the passenger door shut,

"That was a stupid thing to say," he announced before chuckling earning a small smirk from Jude just as they entered getting pass security easily. Their ears instantly met with the irritated words nearby of perhaps one of the newest participants in their traditional dance battles. Eyeing the two through the bodies of a crowd they paused a moment before beginning in the direction of the bar Richard turning to the bartender,

"What happened?" He voiced both his and Judes question to the barmen or perhaps anyone nearby.
