"Crush the Rebellion, bring Peace and Order to a galaxy in chaos."
The Galactic Empire, having formed from an unsuspecting Galactic Republic following the purge of the Jedi Order, has taken over the galaxy in one fell swoop. Entire star systems have pledged loyalty out of fear of a vengeful new Emperor, and those who resisted were summarily crushed in a grandiose display of the fledgling Empire's strength. With their iron grip tightening with each passing year, more worlds have been seeding quiet rebellion in attempt to free themselves of the tyranny. The Empire's response? Fighting fire with fire. With the emergent rebellion operating under stealth and guerrilla tactics and standard infantry forces unable to completely wipe them out, the Empire turns to highly classified, lethally effective special operations teams to get the jobs ordinary stormtroopers can't. Join today and prove your worth to the Empire and bring about order to a galaxy cracking under the pressure!

PERSONALITY
The Magistrate is a complex man. On one hand, he is devoted to the Empire and believes in its very foundation, but he has a bit of an ego and constantly looks for ways to consolidate power. An enigmatic individual, not much is known about his true place in the Empire's hierarchy, or what his function is other than to supervise the various Black Cells. The one thing anyone can tell from the Magistrate is his ambition, something that is somehow very well controlled but unsatisfied. He simply wishes to ascend further and become more of an important figure. He takes a great deal of pride in his Black Cell program and his role as its administrator, even seeing to it that its operatives training are personally inspected on a regular basis. Although despite the great deal of respect he has for his operatives and their deadly efficiency, he is always the manipulative man and paints himself as someone who truly takes value in their wellbeing and service. However some few operatives have legitimately gained his respect and some degree of admiration, but he continues to utilize them as instruments in his political game. Regardless of however he may feel about any operative or cell, the Magistrate would easily sacrifice and entire team if it was for the security of the Empire.

• History: Nothing is really known about his history, other than that at some point he proposed his Black Cell program and, with great reluctance from many superiors, was allowed to go forward with it. His personal stake in the program was shown in its earliest stages where he would personally train younger cadets until he recieved enough funding to bring in instructors. The continued success of his program in the early stages allowed him to direct more of the funding into the training and equipment, thus furthering him from the overall process but still inspecting graduating cadets and training procedures from time to time. Despite appearing to have no fighting experience, the Magistrate has proven to some few that have question otherwise that he did not just become in charge of an entire special operations organization because he had money.

Join today and prove your worth to the Empire and bring about order to a galaxy cracking under the pressure!
The Scenario
You are a part of an exceptionally talented group of Imperial commandos operating under the designation of Black Cell 77, or "Nomad Squadron" A bit of an enigma even among special forces, Black Cell members are identified early in their training at Imperial Academies across the galaxy for their useful skills. Some members never even underwent basic Imperial training, instead being hand-picked from young vagrant children on poorer worlds where they could be given an opportunity to escape to 'better' conditions by serving the Empire. Strangely, some prospective candidates were aliens, which was in contrast to the humancentric doctrine of the Imperial Military, even if some aliens still served in standard military units. A very small number were even force sensitive, but were considered too weak to undergo Inquisitor training and instead placed in Black Cells so their innate force abilities could be harnessed. However, because of the danger force sensitives pose to the Empire in any capacity if trained, only extremely high ranking officials tied to the Black Cells know of the force sensitives, and not even the individuals themselves know. All they know is that they are better at some things than others are, which is credited to their intense training regimen. But candidacy did not guarantee a spot on any special forces team, and most were sent back home before training was even completed, whereas others lost their lives before graduation or shortly after due to the intensity of the operations assigned.
The Nomad Squadron lives up to its name by constantly moving. Its members rarely get much down-time between assignments, and spend a lot of time cut off from any major Imperial resources. The special forces cell typically operates on their own, receiving assignments via encrypted holo-communication devices, and are permitted special clearance that allows them to utilize most, if not all, of the resources the Empire has to offer in order to complete their mission. But the point of Nomad Squadron (and many other cells like it) is to be able to operate semi-independently and execute operations in a quick and quiet manner unless other options are to their tactical advantage.
So what happens when the Empire turns its back against one of its most effective death squads? Do they give up? Do they keep fighting? But how? Their entire life they've been told the Empire is indestructible and almighty; that it can't be brought down. Maybe that rebellion they've been fighting against wasn't so bad after all..
~
So a portion of the RP is going to revolve around the squad doing missions for the Empire until they are, lo and behold, left for dead/betrayed/disenfranchised/etc. After, they will be forced to go on the run, and potentially join the Rebellion in the hopes of stopping the Empire. This is the general plot line and I am fully accepting ideas for side plots!

- All RP Nation rules apply (sexual content etc)
- One character per person (Exceptions may occur if all spots aren't filled by the time we want to start rping)
- If you want to play anything other than a human that's fine, but if its an OG alien species run it through me first just don't play aliens like Jawas please.
- No overpowered characters, and that goes for Mary sues and Gary sues, no one is perfect
- Romance is allowed but it isn't the main plot, so if you and another persons characters are having a romantic relationship don't let it interfere too much with the main plot.
- Please at the top of your posts mark clearly who your characters are interacting with during the rp (I'll have an example done)
- I hope to have the overall tone for the thread a bit darker than typical star wars stories, without a bunch of flashy lightsabers and heroic save-the-day themes. Only because I'd rather have everyone's character start out as ordinary, non Jedi individuals so as to not give any one person "the spotlight" of the story just because they've got a lightsaber and can move rocks. (Not to say I don't love Jedi and Sith). So I would just keep that in mind going through the RP, since not everything they do will surely mean success. In the words of Master Yoda, the greatest teacher failure is.
- Force sensitives exist in Black Cells (one of their classified, defining traits), however they were deemed too weak in sensitivity to be able to do much other than improve their natural skills. For example, a force sensitive engineer might have an intuitive understanding of machines and technology to the point that they might not need any prior understanding of the machine in question in order to work with it, but they can't go around lifting rocks. Some are so weak that all they can do is pick up on danger as a sort of enhanced instinct. Because Force Sensitives are so rare nowadays, I will only permit up to three of them in the squad, and remember they have no idea they are force sensitive and their powers are limited, so think of them as a tactical upgrade to some skills.
- If you're going to have a force sensitivity keep in mind what kind of character you're playing as, as well as alien in terms of their own weaknesses and what-nots to keep things fair and balanced.
- All Black Cell members have an operating number to identify themselves in the instance they need to prove it. Names, callsigns, or even titles are not used for verification as a way to prevent identity theft if they're compromised. Also in the instance they are meeting with Empire personnel who do not know them by face, they can run their numbers to verify. Each operative remembers their numbers by heart and they are not kept on them. Operating numbers all follow the same format: CP-#### (CP meaning Classified Personnel). Also, all Black Cell operatives have a rank of Lieutenant.
- Black Cell members can be of any species. I'd prefer them to all be of a biological species (as in not a droid), however I am completely willing to open up another slot specifically for a droid character if anyone desires, however I wasn't sure how popular the option would be so for now I've left it out. But let me know if you'd like to (droids can be important and relevant too!).
- I'm not picky with the plot, if you've got an idea for something that's going on or for just another thing entirely don't be afraid to ask. I'll usually be able to work it in somehow if it fits. But please ask before you start doing anything like that. People helping with the plot always helps make it more interesting to everyone if they've had a part in shaping it in my opinion.
- This is my first time in a long while leading a thread so excuse me if I seem a bit scatterbrained sometimes.
- Discrimination (on race, sexuality, religion, etc), rude behavior, or anything of the like is unacceptable. Any problems between members need to come to my attention so I can assist, unless you decide to fix it yourselves. Refusing to compromise doesn't give you any points either. If you read this, what's your favorite color.
- Cursing is allowed, but since the site has a wide age range let's keep F-bombs and the C-word in our heads (If you want I'll allow you to star out most of the word).
- Please try and be semi advanced, you don't need multiple paragraphs but make your post easy to respond to, please no one liners.
Black Cell 77, "Nomad Squadron"
The Nomad Squadron is comprised of six commandos all specializing in a different area to increase the overall versatility of the team. However members are typically given basic instruction in other fields to make them more well-rounded operatives and not completely helpless if their designated specialist is unavailable.
(closed) The Commander—The voice of the squadron, they have a particular aptitude for negotiation and interrogation. When the Empire needs to put on a face of good faith, the Commander will do just that. When the Empire needs a decisive and efficient killer, the Commander can perform. Their natural leadership makes them the "face" of the squad, which is basically just the one who has to know how to play politics every once in a while and who takes the blame when the squadron screws up. They are the main communicator between the squadron and their superiors, and also know how to play to their squad's strengths. But while most people could take control of a Black Cell quite easily after having worked with the small group for years, the Commander is one hell of a soldier and an unseen paragon. They dutifully carry out the will of the Empire and have proven time and time again they are the best at battle strategy. The Commander is also in charge of making sure his team stays in top shape, and in times when there are little assignments to be done, they may take them through training regimens and battle scenarios to keep them sharp. In all, the Commander is the glue of the squadron.
(closed- Dozeji) The Combat Medic—Keeping people alive as best they can with the best medical equipment the Empire has to offer. Suffice to say the medic is one of the most important members of the squad. Not every operation is on an Imperial home world, which means access to medical services are limited, and where the medic's skills come in handy when they're lightyears away from the nearest Imperial hospital. The medic may be at their full potential in the comfort of a sterilized medical laboratory, but a diverse set of tools at their disposal make stabilizing a fallen comrade on the field an easy task. They had the hardest amount of work to push through to graduate into the team due to the sheer amount of medical training—including cybernetic implementation and upkeep—on top of combat instruction.
(closed- Krill) The Saboteur—An infiltration specialist, the saboteur's primary function is to disrupt the enemy's forces through precise but indirect attacks. Whether it's sneaking into a fortified base and opening the front door to causing a systems meltdown, the Saboteur has one of the most dangerous roles in the squad since much of what they do requires them breaking off from the squad and venturing alone into risky situations. As such, stealth is key to their survival, even more so than the rest of the squad, and sometimes they may not even come into physical contact with the squad during some missions until after its been completed.
(open) The Technician—Works with technology and machines, the technician is a cyber specialist, engineer, and weapons tech rolled all into one. They often have the most advanced, and useful, gadgets of the team ranging from code breakers to portable deflector shields. Although these are not exclusive to their person, they just seem to have more use for them. They upgrade and repair the tech and weapons the team employs when it is needed, but also maintains their ship's systems. They are also the primary pilot for the team's ship. The technician can be the most versatile member of the group, ranging from a support archetype with shield equipment, to masters of mayhem with portable turrets and their own combat ability.
(closed-SpazTheButcher) The Heavy—When you need something destroyed, look no further than the team's heavy. An expert in all things big, angry, and destructive, the heavy has a knack for having the biggest arsenal and knowing how to achieve maximum obliteration with them. Give them a huge cannon to rain fire on their enemies? No problem. Give them a flamethrower so they can burn their enemies to a crisp? Sure thing. If you need to know how to use a death machine, the technician may be able to figure that out, but the heavy can put it to good use. Some heavies will go a step further than big guns to having bulky, hard-to-pierce armor to act like a bulldozer in close range. This usually makes the heavy slower, but harder to kill, since getting too close means they're about to hammer you into the dirt.
(closed- Krill) The Marksman—The Marksman' specialty lies in weapons, blasters specifically. The Heavy may want to rain hell with a ton of explosives on the masses, but the Sharpshooter prefers precision kills with a trusty blaster of their expertise. Usually well-versed in many weapons, the sharpshooter will put a bolt in between your eyes (metaphorically-ish speaking) with whatever blaster they can get their hands on. They're that extra bit of firepower you need to get the job done right.
(non-playable) Droid/s/ K-2SO and BB-8— K-2SO an Imperial security droid programmed specifically for the squads use in multiple areas from combat, strategy, it can even preform minor medical assistance. It is a black droid standing at 7ft towering above most beings it is not one for stealth missions but its versatility makes it a handy droid to have. BB-8 is an imperial standard astromech programmed and designed for the squad, though it is not built for combat or is able to preform minor medical assistance it is effective at hacking, flight, and stealth where K-2SO falls short. These two droids help the squad preform tasks they may not be able to do physically.
Nomad Squadron also employs the use of a Black Cell specialized Loronar E-9 Explorer named the Auditor. The starship is technically classified as a corvette, however it is smaller than typical corvettes, but too large to be considered a standard starfighter and is built much like a classic warship. It possess an impressive array of defense cannons on its outer hull that are capable of going toe-to-toe with any larger corvette in terms of firepower, but it's smaller size allows it to maneuver the battlefield with ease and can outrun any pursuing frigates and cruisers. Although its defenses act as a safeguard if the ship is suddenly dropped into combat by surprise, the main function of the Auditor is to be able to remain unseen or make quick escapes with the assistance of an advanced stealth drive when outnumbered. Despite its size, another special quality of the corvette is the ability for the corvette to operate on a small crew, and can be maintained and operated by a single pilot on its bridge, although a co-pilot seat exists. It is large enough for small individual cabins for each crew member, along with two manually operated blaster cannons on the underside of its hull for the crew to use when necessary. The Auditor boasts an impressive laboratory for use in biological an technological analysis as well as technical repairs, as well as a top-of-the-line medbay complete with a bacta tank, there is even a small exercise room full of equipment to help keep the squad in shape during long flights. Although the rooms are somewhat small due to the ship's smaller total area. When charged with a new mission (or an incoming transmission), the team typically meets in the war room to discuss.

(Basic info)The Utdrainiac are a small isolated race with them only found in one place in their home solar system located at the end of the empires ever stretching boarders. Very few know the location of the quiet single planet solar system as they tend to keep to themselves and remain out of others conflicts. However, the few utdrainiacs that are found outside their home are often captured and sold off as (pleasure/pet/servant) slaves due to their unique looks and naturally occurring markings. Often refereed as the Dogs of space this illusive race have an average life span of roughly 130 human years with their prime beginning as early as 20 years old. Along with their unique looks their body physically matures much faster than humans with them typically being fully grown at the age of 12.
(Physical info) As with most of the species the females are often short and slender but well built usually no taller than a humans 5'6" and no heavier than 145lbs with a tail(1.5"-2.5" long) and sharp canines, where the males are often over 6ft 200lbs with their slender build packed full of flexible muscles. They have distinct black hair, black eyes surrounding a dark red iris. They have natural long thick nails that are sharp often coming to a point perfect for hand to hand combat, these nails mixed with their sharp teeth make them feared in combat. Each Utdrainiac is born with unique black markings over their skin, some mimicking human tattoos, others being random symmetrical marks across the body.
(Reproductive habits)The Utdrainiacs are one of the few intelligent races that "mate" for life never breaking their vows even if their partner dies. Unlike humans they have specified reproductive seasons occurring once every four years, meaning every generation is four years apart in age.
(Other info)By those that know of their existence they are referred to as the dogs of the universe by them due to the species pack tendencies, extreme loyalty, and aggressive fighting style when provoked.
Key features:
-Red eyes (Helps them see in the dark sensitives to bright lights)
-Tail (Used for aesthetic purposes in attracting a life partner)
-Canines/fangs/sharp teeth (Helps easily shred through flesh)
-Sharp talons/claws/nails (Sturdy and good in hand to hand combat)
-Slender/small bodies (Makes sneaking/fitting through small places easy makes it tough to take down larger enemies)
-Sense of smell (Better than normal humans but not as good as a dogs)

• Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
— Romantic Orientation: Heteromantic
• RELATIONSHIP STATUS: Married
— Crush: None
— Family: Unknown
