Stardew Valley

Vandris

I hold with those who favor fire.
I just thought I would check and see if anyone else around here has lost a little part of their soul to this game like I have. This game is a masterpiece! It's everything I imagined Harvest Moon could have been on the snes!

My boyfriend gifted this game to me and I lost some sleep to it :P Then he got me Factorio and I lost some sleep to that too.

At first I wasn't thrilled about the fishing mechanics, until I finally figured out how to gain better control of the bar :P ...then they throw in fishes with erratic evasive maneuver and I'm just sitting there wondering, "What am I supposed to do with that?!" I figured I'll deal with them later when I get a better rod :)

I also screwed up and grew more crops than I had the patience to deal with. Must invest in sprinklers!

Overall, I'm actually surprised by how much can be done in the game. It reached a point where one in-game day is not long enough. Kind of sucks to have to keep running out of the mines and try to make it to bed before Joja decides to take money out of my pocket >_>

I have. I've nearly blazed through three seasons in three days it is so fun and addicting. It's adorable and the music is honestly beautiful.

Keep hearing a ton of praise for it. Adored the original Harvest Moon on SNES so this seems like my thing. If I vanish then this'll probably be why, haha.

I've seen a few of my friends play it on Steam, it certainly looks interesting. I'll probably take a look at it later.

I'm currently on year four of this game. I can't stop playing it- it's just so unbelievably deep. After I unlocked the greenhouse, I found an ancient seed and used my seed maker to multiply all of the fruit, so now I've got a greenhouse full of ancient fruit plants, and a huge winery to make ancient fruit wine. Every 8 days I make about 188k from about 80 kegs. I'm currently working on befriending all of the villagers to ten hearts, getting better at fishing, and trying to learn all of the recipes.

I'm at the point where I'm considering writing Stardew Valley fanfiction, because the characters are that good.

Btw, Team Leah :-D

Oh, oh man. I'm only halfway through my first Spring and I'm still not 100% sure what makes it so different but there's never a dull moment. It's so good.
