So if I create a Master, I would have one of the apprentices training under me?

If we have the apprentice spots filled, you will have a player apprentice. If not, might have to npc it.

@AntiMatter It's a little short, and I feel a little bit of a... lack in personality and bio? It's not bad, just, it seems a little narrow in focus.
@Talon @CoolKittyCassie I'm unsure if you were finished, but since it's not marked as work in progress: Please expand on your characters. There isn't really any personality listed anywhere (you have biography AND past for some reason?) and the current information is much too short.
ya sry forgot to pt unfinnished in im not done yet il finish a soon as i can

Because this is happening way too much and even the cs that are supposed to be wip don't look promising, I will say this once. This is a detailed role play. When you say done on your cs it better be detailed quality or I'm rejecting it and not giving you a chance to fix it. This is your first and only warning. Why should I think you can handle a detailed role play when you can't get by the CS

So serious question though, what's the obsession with the various forms of Tenebrous, Tenibris, Tenibrous, Tinibris, Tinebris etcetera?

I mean, it's literally(going off the original word) Darth Dark and at least shows up once in every set of CS's for every Star Wars RP I've seen. I just can't help but think that it's an extremely worn out and overused naming variation and people could at least branch out to other languages =/

Examples-

  • Scots Gaelic- Darth Dorch(Dark, dusky, sable, sombre), Darth Gruamach(Sullen, Morse, Sorrwful)
  • Somali- Darth Madow(dark), Darth Karaya(seething), Darth Gallinkii(sombre)
  • Esperanto- Darth Mallumo(dark), Darth Ombro(shadow), Darth Zibelo(sable)
  • Maori- Darth Pouri(dark), Darth Atarangi(shadow), Darth Kite(seeth)

So even saying the same thing, it still has some originality to the name alone.

But nope, always variations in spelling of tenebrous.

I haven't seen this before, but if its really /that/ overused then I can easily change it.

You seem like you're a touch newer, so it wouldn't surprise me if you've not picked up on it, but I've been around for a couple years now, and looked into and joined a number of different Star Wars RPs and every single one has had at least one variation of the name in reference to a Dark Lord.

This is more of a personal bit of advice since I don't know how long you've been roleplaying for, but don't hesitate to check out other languages and cultures for names, it can help give them more character that way too.

hey i think im done. plz check my cs out. and since @CoolKittyCassie and i are gonna be sibs in this rp is it ok if i do most of the info for our cs's? btw this will be our first detailed rp so plz bare with us. sorry

Doesn't help that Star Wars RP's are rare. One of my favorite fandoms. :/

My CS is finished and up! It's my first BBcode CS and my first CS on this site, so I hope I did it justice.

Your first BBCode CS? I've been at the site for about a month and I can barely change the color of text.. Lol

@Talon I'm sorry but I cannot accept your cs. This isn't the role play to get you into detailed role plays. Perhaps start off with casual or simple.

I've used simple codes for bolding, italicizing, images etc, so I understand the concept, but I've never made a CS with coding. The BBcode Guide was very helpful—I just experimented with the features I wanted in my Workshop until I figured it out. I couldn't figure out how to resize images, but maybe that's not a feature this site supports.

@Squee

Two felinids, and on opposite ends of the force. If accepted they could have a fairly interesting dynamic because they're literally standing on completely other ends of how they act and respond to things as well.

So. There are three Grey Masters Apps (i believe), @Squee has been accepted as his CS as his, and I'm leaning towards @korigon for the last spot (pending finished CS) that being said.

Would you mind switching to an apprentice @Guydaguy if your app is not chosen?

If I have to, then yes. But, also, there's still spots for knights, and that'd be more preferable. I'm still working on finishing up my cs, I'm trying to add some BBCode and whatnot, also adding in lots of more details. After that, it's your place to choose.

Thank you for accepting me, Aku. :)

Just to double check, listing every single force ability that our characters are capable of is optional right? I could edit in a complete list of everything Korr can do, but using Silvia Magetrance's CS as a reference, I assumed that the common abilities are a given?

Also, @Guydaguy, if you are applying for a master position, why do you have Force Potential points like an apprentice?

The CS is still a work in progress, and I'll make sure to fix it.

I was actually going for a position of a knight, apologies if that wasn't clear. I've had little to no internet the past few days so I haven't been able to finish up my application, but I'll should get to it tomorrow.

Squee it is only necessary to include advanced abilities.

Korigon that's fine. Means we are still in need of another apprentice, but we can go forward as is.

Guy, take your time. Master spot is your's as of now.

Ok, now I'm not too lazy to roll 20cm to m'desk, I can respond properly.

@korigon No need to rush, and I thought we discussed you going for master, which is where my confusion came from. But, that's fine and works better.

If I like your CS it means you're accepted. As I said before, still looking for an apprentice spot, but it isn't too terribly important, just really don't want a bunch of strong characters walking around, kind of hampers the plot. I might give apprentices a higher max potential than the masters to draw some more people there.

I think people forget that making a character isn't always about their raw strength or power potential.

Han Solo wasn't some amazing super jedi, and the clones were known for their ingenuity and drive, yet weren't overtly powerful either.], but I guess in a universe where the Force is a thing it's easy for people to forget that.
