My own crooked smile is left wondering who it should respond to an "elf' in the starwars universe.

You might wanna check yourself before you come at me sweet heart, I have no reservations about wrecking you on a literary scale. Might want to pretend you're not younger than Philae probe.

1: I didn't say anything about you personally, I was specifically referring to the fact that when I join an RP inevitably something causes it to end. I have no ill will towards you and likely never will. You assumed that I was directing that post at you, and that shows a degree of narcissism far greater than you the degree you label me with. Assumptions help nothing, and only serve to make you look foolish. It was an expression of exasperation caused by my constant run-ins with Murphy's Law.


2: Jedi Master Fay is a canon space elf and was biologically immortal. My character is a member of her species.


3: She is not omnipotent, she is not all powerful, she is not generic. You, again, assume much from little. You extrapolate information from bases that are nonexistent in the first place. Your assumption is one made from the position of an elitist, and an overly hostile one at that. I would personally suggest that you give all characters a chance and do not dismiss any of them based on first impressions. Books and covers, you know the saying.


4: An infant child does not possess the mental capacity to understand language, much less the internet or a forum on it. If you wish to insult someone by calling them a child, please select a more reasonable comparison, it will carry more weight. Additionally, insults that are direct are less effective than indirect insults or backhanded compliments in general.

All of that was unnecessary since:


A) Someone else was omnipotent and thus so should I be.


B) redundant.


 
Honestly, if you can't look beyond context and see how your character is obnoxious then I would never want to RP with you.

It is no fault of yours, and it is no issue. I've encountered this discussion so many times before that it's gotten old. Inevitably when people accuse my characters of this and I prove that they are not the only response they have is insulting me. I'm more than happy to leave it as it is because I've won the debate and proven my point.
