I was more or less arguing what TeeJay would've said anyway. It helped that she agreed with me (or perhaps I agreed with her) , but if she had chosen someone else and I disagreed with her I still would've tried to argue for her case. After all , this decision is being made/has been made in-game by all our characters , so we should all go with the option they'd actually choose , whether or not it's truly the best option (though in this case I firmly agree with TeeJay , and I believe that Chuka is the best available choice).

Ok, so it looks to me like Segue is looking for us to IC initiate the talks for how to plan at watching the patrol coming by from the vantage point that Skyetri found, I would feel that in OOC we kind of discussed how Skyetri pretty much ended up becoming the de facto leader by having the most knowledge of the Republic situation and the fact that she is probably the most intelligent of the group aside from the Tactical droid, but no one would want to take the droid as the leader so I should probably initiate the talks, and give you all a bit of info that would be relevant to the situation as well. Considering a patrol is going to go by.

I'll post whenever TeeJay herself feels the need to talk , but I definitely agree she wouldn't have been selected as any kind of leader , certainly not at this point. Is she highly intelligent and knowledgeable? Yes. A devent leader in the past? Yes. But she's also a Seperatist combat droid , and they're not going to trust her enough to give her a blaster , let alone allow her a leadership role. The way I figure the command chain right now , it's Skyetri - Rinatta - the Mandalorians - TJ-253. Not that she wouldn't try to take a leadership role if Skyetri and/or Rinatta died , but unless she's either more trusted or very effective with her arguements , she probably won't end up there.

I have some information for whoever ends up watching from above (which is Chuka, yes?) and I'll likely convey that today or tomorrow ICly even if he hasn't posted anything about going up there in the IC thread.

The patrol will likely come into view at that point as well. ICly if you'd like to discuss plans for getting out of here or any planned response to the patrol, feel free.

TeeJay is the logical antithesis to 'lead from the front'.

Unless 'the front' can count as 'about a 350 meters from the actual front lines , in the Tank Commander'a position of an AAT' , then that totally counts. I guess she's not nearly as far as some (she's not as far back as General Zektar was , for one) , but she's not right in the trenches either. Plus , she's always been the true leader's Second In Command anyway - the true leaders , in her experience , do indeed stay far away from anything resembling the 'front lines'.

Except for the Jedi , but they also had a higher casualty rate than the organic Seperatist generals did. (Though perhaps not her own T-Series kin).

Besides the obvious fact they’re all on the run , isn’t everything they believe in being erased? Are they not their nation’s stakes - doubly so since the group as a whole hails from quite varied backgrounds , even factions wholly opposed to one another - in both the moral and the political senses? If they don’t make it there’d be nothing but the Empire - no more Republic and certainly no Seperatist movement. And everyone’s already been thinking (or at least TeeJay has been) about ‘another perfect life’.

(By the way , I just saw them in concert , and it was absolutely incredible. That was my favorite concert I’ve been to , easily. Though I listened to this song quite a bit beforehand , usually to soundtrack writing for TJ-253 and this RP).

Nah, I am not gonna ignore it, fact is I have to figure out now whether we should get out of the home in case once the clone patrol passes by if they come to search it they won't find anyone unless they were to check the trapdoor and attic, and in that case I wouldn't want to abandon Chuka.

Well , TeeJay does want to be helpful. Right now she’s wanting to volunteer where Seperatist airbases and anti-Air gunnery emplacements (or likely positions of mobile artillery , such as J-1 semi-autonomous proton cannons) are , but as I don’t know that I’m basically waiting until Segue isn’t being suffocated to death by life to tell me that information before I’m able to post.

And wouldn’t it make the most sense if either A) everyone left together , or B) everyone got into the attic to hide? I figure by the time everyone leaves , they’re ready to entirely abandon that particular house. It’s not really any sort of a decent base since it’s already marked for searches and extra-heavy patrols.

I should’ve said this quite some times earlier , but if Segue ever does make a return (which is seeming more unlikely with each passing day) how many of you are still into picking up where we left off? I know it’s been months since any of these threads have had activity , but I kept assuming Segue would return at any minute (at least after the New Year began). I figure since all of us players are still active I might as well ask this now , right?

I suppose if we still want to continue with these characters without Segue we can always start a new thread based in this same premise , perhaps on a different world depending on what we want , but I’m.. not entirely sure who would run it. I’m not sure how easy it’d be for me to GM with GMPC like TeeJay who has very little control over her situation right now (if anything , she might lack control) , and I’d love to keep playing her if this were to somehow continue. I suppose I don’t have to have a GMPC with power though , and Segue didn’t have a GMPC at all (at least , within the group anyway). So starting anew with this premise with a different GM is always an option if everyone wants to continue playing these characters - though I must stress that I fully understand if no-one really wants to continue without or even with Segue at the helm. It’s merely another option.


As for this going so inactive.. I suppose I could’ve just let TeeJay come up with figures for anti-air capabilities on her own based on my own reckoning of such things , but I really didn’t want to step on Segue’s toes (also , I tend to think smaller when it comes to these sorts of things than I believe Segue would). I could’ve just had TeeJay lie or something to that effect , but TeeJay wouldn’t lie to anyone else about something that has bearing on whether or not she survives to start the Second Great Droid Revolution. She could also just be wrong , but from the time she was captured to the time Order 66 was executed I severely doubt the Seperatist forced would have been reinforced (though she could assume some sort of rate of attrition to mean varying degrees of fewer artillery emplacements than when she was in command). I also like to think she’s much more precise than that , and if she isn’t I’d be worried the rest of the group would simply choose to kill or abandon her once Anakin shuts down 97% of the Seperatist’s Droid Army.
