Once...
Once there were three queens at odds with each other.
Tears, who wallowed in despair, denying the futility of that which she was trying to preserve.
Storms, who exulted in a hatred that would burn herself and the world with it.
Mirrors, who was blinded by self-loathing and insanity, driving others into becoming as she was.
And then there were the girls and boys that swore themselves under their banner.
They had a thousand reasons. A thousand names. Luminous souls that burned against a long night. In the mid-twentieth centuries, a small number looked at each other and joined together against a greater threat.
Spring, 1967. It is a year newly born, with the Darkened in Brierford, Connecticut undergoing an alarming increase. It is of a level the local Nobles cannot tackle on their own.
It's time to hang together, in spite of their differences-or fall to the Darkness one by one.
