Rebirth: Return of the Dragons!

Deep within a dark cave laid several eggs. They all varied in size and color. Dragons had been gone for centuries but now, the sound of movement and the hatchlings stirring could be heard within the eggs. The Egg Chamber was a large open space, with possibly hundreds of eggs. Some would probably never hatch. Somewhere in the cave, the distant sound of grunts and threatening screams could be heard.

A little blue egg in the corner was the first to hatch. Frost used her claws to crack the egg. When she was free from her prison she took a moment to look around and take in her surroundings. She did notice that there were other eggs, most of them seemed unhatched. Was she alone? Had nobody else woken yet?

Loki was warm. who was loki? he was loki. hey, what was that? loki saw a light outside his egg, sneezed, and the shell exploded. he crawled out, and after learning how to move his stubby legs, which took him like 5 minutes, (awfully slow for a gold dragonet) the first thing he did was look around.
He saw... eggs around him, most unhatched, none as sparkly as mine. it was dark, even though a beam of light fell on him. yes, yes! put me in the spotlight! he saw that another dragonet had hatched as well, and he walked over to say hello, rather clumsily. "Hi! I'm Loki! who are you?" he said with a smile.
