Futuristic space pirates

With everyone taken care of for the moment, Kat got up and began taking inventory of her supplies. "Just in case Jarrod, keep talking to me so you don't fall asleep for a little while. You can never be too careful." She said as she walked away from him and to her computer.

Jarrod nodded but his eyes were closed and he could feel sleep egging him on, opening his eyes and looking to Kat, wondering what she wanted him to talk about. "Well, I don't know what to talk 'bout, but I understand the need to be awake." He started passing the ball between his hands, left hand more accurate and responsive than his right, afterall he was left handed.

((Grr I keep forgetting to colour the XxX's...))

Zed could tell slinger was trying to say something that sounded like terran common. So to make him feel better he pretened like he understood what he said. "Alright then, could you man the wepons, just in case that ship is violent?"
((You dont need to.))
((But i feel ya, i keep forgeting to tag people.))

@Sulfirious ((also i keep forgeting that Kat has that awesome bio))

((I've already started.. plus it helps me remember who I'm speaking as xP.. And I may or may not have a slight selective ocd and its just bothers meh...))

Slinger purred happily as Zed understood, or so he thought, he slinked away from Zed and towards the weaponry. He didn't like weaponry, but even he could understand that it was needed to protect a ship when the crew can't get right to the enemy and slaughter them from within. Slinger stood on the chair before crouching into a comfortable position, ready to fight or operate the weaponry.

((Well, everyone has amazing charry's that I wouldn't be able to control.. xD -Respect given to all- ^^))

((Thx ladypilot))

"Really then..." Kat replied only half paying attention as she checked her stores to match what she had logged. "How about you tell me about your home planet or whatever." She turned around to face him as she recalled something. "But if the memory takes to much effort to remember stop and remember something else."

Jarrod smiled a small smile as he remembered, "Tiptree, its a small little planet way out in the middle of nowhere. I lived in one of the larger villages, population about 200 people, with my dad and sister. It's a quiet place, filled mostly with a reddish sand and dark green stone. Some might call it christmasy, but it isn't.." Jarrod sighed, "Some of the formations were breathtaking, and the valleys had such clear water running through them, to chase away the silence in a slow, background song." He looked at his hands with a pause, just remembering the times he had on his home planet.

"Hmm..." She hummed to herself as she counted the remaining painkillers so she could properly logged then. "Sounds beautiful... I think I've been there once." She sighed to herself as she realized that they were beginning to run too low for her liking.

Jax sent the coordinates, "Alright Crazy, the cords should be popping up on your screen now. Please do not send us to one of the volcanic planets, I dont want to die a horrible death in lava." He looked at Zed, "When do we start praying?"

Jarrod nodded missing his small family and realizing that they probably think he's dead since he's become a pirate, afterall he's had no communication or connection to them for several years. "It really was beautiful, I kindof miss it, but I know I'll never be able to return. Afterall, if anyone was to figure out I'm a crew on the Cat, well I'll be interrogated or killed to find her" He patted the wall lightly.

Jed chuckled. "Were ready up here Felicia. Try not to scratch the paint." He laughed. He thought she would be fine, he just wanted her to go now.

@Leijonion

('daw, thank you guys U3U)

She revved her engines, slowly lifting the shuttle, then easing her out the large doors that opened to a big black nothing. She started messing with the console, making her own "beeps" and "boops" when she learned it didn't make those noises, bringing out the grappler. "Thank you very much mister- ah, wait leave this conversation open, I can't think of a nickname for you." She watched the string of numbers, then gently "nrrrr"d the grappler to grapple the ship. "Oh! Coord-cor-coordinates. Okay, thanks Jaxton. Nah that's dumb. Ignore that." She began towing the Cat forward, slowly at first, quickly gaining speed. "And I'd never melt the Cat. Or scratch her paint. She's much too pretty to die like that. Maybe in some awesome explosion at the end of a great fight with the Empire, but that never happened. So she's obviously not going to go down anytime soon." She was quiet for a moment, then, "does anyone have some wood they can knock on for me?"

"Not the right type of wood sweetheart.. Just... lets get outta here, cause that distress signal is about too go-- Er. Yeah its gone, we gotta go Im starting to get pre-warp signatures Bossman." He looked up at Zed, "Now or Never."

Jed ignored thier banter and rushed over to the helm. "Looks like... 10 minutes till we get to the system." He bit his lip. He stood over jax "sent her the coordinates to the closest uninhabited planet. We'll hide there." He said to jax. "Felicia can you give us more speed?"

He found a desolate rock, and sent it to Felicia, "Alright Crazy Train, go there." He frowned as he pressed a few more buttons to look for anything else to help the crew of The Cat.

This. This was the moment she was born for. All those old shows, or new shows referencing old shows- this is what is all amounted to. She glanced at the new target, fixed her direction, eased the shuttle faster, faster.... now! "I'm givin' her all she's got, captain!"

Jax sat there confused, "Why did she just do an accent?" He looked back at Zed. "Thats who you put our lives in trust of Boss? You know I'd trust you to hell n' back but... come on."

Jed laughed he got the reference. He hit jax's back. "Ah have a little trust Jax. For your information, Felicia is a fuckin genius."

Kat chuckled to herself as she typed away on her computer's holopad. "That's not that different from my situation. I, however, used to work for the empire once upon a time so I think my situation's a bit worse having become the doctor of the Cat and all." She stopped typing and sat back in her chair as she thought to herself aloud. "What has it been? Two? Almost three years since I last saw them?" She closed her eyes and ran a hand through her hair while sighing through her nostrils. "Ah well... Even if I could see them I wouldn't bother."

((Erm.. Ima probably go to bed sometime soon.. And I've been told that my online thing glitches and it says I'm online but I'm not... so yeah.. If I am online I will answer!))

Jarrod nodded in understanding, "Yeah, I suppose thats true.. I hate to ask thi- *yawns* but uhm when can I sleep? I'm exhausted" Jarrod layed down again and closed his eyes, falling sleep rather quickly without Kat's answer.

Felicia smiled to herself, she was a genius. And the coolest guy on the Cat has called her one at least twice today. This was the best day ever. Even better than that day that she had that delicious noodle soup. Mmm. That was good soup. She began slowing the Cat down as they approached the planet, focusing intently. After she got a new candy cigarette. "Okay so there's two ways we can land. It looks like there's a pretty flat space big enough to land over there... But that'a way there looks to be some pretty rough terrain, and I can do some pretty sweet tricks and maybe put on some theme music, but we might all die. But that's only like... a low high probability, so like, it'll probably happen, but! Probably not. So. Just putting that on the table. It'd be totally rad."

"Genius or No Genius, Boss man. She's crazy... but we're moving." He watched the monitor as the ships jumped in, but didn't react to them escaping, they just floated there, surrounding the destroyed Crown, trying to locate survivors of the ship.

((Dude. I keep forgeting my own Character's name. I apologize for the confusion i might have caused.))

"Yeah how bout we stick with the flat terrain today Felicia." Zed deadpanned. He went back to the helm, monitoring the decent. He went over the the science console, internally cursing all the people who had been injured. "Planet surface is... not habitable." He mumbled to himself.

"Hmm? Oh yes." Kat spun her chair to face him. "It was just to be on the safe side, but we have moved past the observation period. Sweet dreams." She stood up, looked around the room and stretched. "I'm going to go out and stretch my legs so press the button next to you to page me. The machine monitoring your vitals should do the same if you can't." Kat needed to get out, all this talk about family and home planets left her feeling emotionally compromised. She kept on a straight face but felt that a tear might escape and wanted to leave just in case.

"Damn." That've been the coolest thing she's ever done. But Captain's word is law, and even a woman with half a mind knows that, so she changes course, glaring at the flat, tan expanse in front of them. "Be ready to break the dumb safe atmosphere."
