Finally got the chance to fully read ^^
Can you limit the "cher"/"cherub" endearment to just a trait belonging to your angel? It's a very sweet little characterization and I love it for Tiamata!
I just want to avoid any direct decisions or such that points to any one specific religion. For 1, I'm not personally Christian/Catholic/etc. For 2, multiple religions and beliefs actually have a version of guardian angels in their mythology. ^^ It's a major decision as to why I made sure our angels were strictly Guardian Angels (aka the lowest tier conceptually).

The demons everyone has been dealing with are much too beastial for human speech. But they are intelligent creatures. They obtain speech by possessing humans. Possessing supernaturals is unheard of, too.
Possession comes about while a human is in a vulnerable state of mind and body. This is where a lot of the temptation themes can come into play. Not necessarily in the form of "let's make a deal" but just in the sense of luring a human into becoming vulnerable enough for possession. Once possessed, there is no saving the human. Though, many angels have tried (and probably still do). Additionally, once possessed, the human/demon is able to see angels and supernaturals through their glamours.
Demons also become significantly stronger once in possession of a human body and much more capable of brewing chaos. (Think bombings and increased violent crime, etc.)

Isaac Davis is the epitome of a shut-in. Frail and skinny to a fault, his body couldn't weigh more than 120 pounds soaking wet. He's pale, deathly so, and his upper body is dotted with small marks from his many projects blasting back into him after a wire crossed here or there. His hands are calloused so thoroughly that he swears half the time he can't feel the ends of his fingertips. They're faintly stained with pencil lead, no matter how hard he washes. Isaac at least can tout he is not a filthy man, and turns out to be something of a clean freak about himself. Just himself, though, as his living conditions do not spare the same expense.
In face, he is fully gaunt. A black, thick mustache is the only hint of life and color on him which has grown so thickly that it's enveloped his lips entirely, matched with a beard that's grown a bit more sparse which must be tied off to not get caught in turning motors and gears, and what hair on his head is shaved to the bare skin. Dark bags denote his eyes which struggle to not be in a constant state of squint during the day. Often in his home, he has a welding mask on his head. Outside, as infrequent as that may be, it is replaced with a black beanie and sunglasses to obfuscate himself and hopefully stay a stranger to the local supermarket.
On the note of his rare expeditions into the real world, he's dressed in a gray hoodie and jeans. His shoes seem to be constantly on the verge of falling apart without a fresh coat of glue.
Personality: In a word, eccentric.
This is a man who is most comfortable in his own domicile, alone, with his things. His creations, electronic and mechanical in nature. His experiments, components torn from the shells of common appliances and devices repurposed. His sole connection to the outside world, his computer and a stack of disposable smartphones. Within the confines of a username and password shielding him from a proper human connection through three layers of VPN's and obfuscated alt accounts, he explores the world and makes a living without ever needing to speak to another breathing soul.
Online, he's short, direct, dare one say disciplined, in exactly what he says and how much he says it. He doesn't get along well in chat groups where people act like normal human beings, but in the corners of the internet that discuss the unusual and unique, he feels most at home. Isaac is an investigator, a researcher, a susceptible individual to the rabbit holes of conspiracy and cryptids, when the question presented has no distinct answer, but plausible options that imply a darker secret. He knows how to research, how to dig, and how to uncover.
Outside, on the infrequent trips to the grocery store to stock up on food that will outlast him, Isaac is quiet. Isaac is polite. Isaac is not particularly noteworthy outside of his appearance, and he tries hard to maintain that state of being. The day he is recognized on any level other than the surface, he may never be seen again in that part of town. If anyone tries to approach him for a sale, a question, or just casual conversation, Isaac will give a soft 'sorry, I'm in a rush' and make a hasty exit. Who knows who that could have been, after all?
Relationships: None. Isaac has made a distinct point to stay out of the lives of others up until this point.

I have a post in the works right now. Just struggling a bit tonight to get words out so I'm going to return to it tomorrow morning before I tackle my Saturday errands in the afternoon and evening.
Current gameplan is:
- Shaldrani's response to Liriel, Julien, and Oscar. I'll keep the interactions going as long as desired
- Imelda's response to Eiael (and Tiamata leaving)

Since Julien essentially dismissed her Amara doesn't have an interaction partner anymore, so I don't know what to do with her. Also feel like this intro scene has pretty much played out overall since the reports have been made and the Council meeting has ended.
