Fantasy Soul Secrets

Ben chuckled and walked to the other side of the room, watching to make sure everyone was getting through alright.

"Nyeh." Julie stuck his tongue out at Ben. He walked over to Chantal to give her a hand,"I hope I didn't hit too hard."

Honesty suddenly thought of something that might work. He used his two fingers and wiped his eyelids. This might be a little bit painful. He boiled the water and bit his lip in pain, his eyes turning pink and lowering more so than usual. He looked incredibly sleepy. He smiled gently, his eyes smiling along with him as the officer called him up. The officer, out of kindness, smiled back. His eyes were squinting heavily. "Sorry, I kept rubbing my eyes today, you know, sleeping in~" He said smoothly. The officer nodded. He flashed the light in his eyes and after a moment, said clear. His eyelashes and eyelids got in the way of the officer seeing the contact lines. Honesty smiled and closed his eyes, nodding. "Thanks." He got up and started walking away. In his head and was screaming victory, but his face said relaxed, like he wasn't even bothered by it. He honestly thought that wouldn't work. He was thinking of opening his eyes more and cooling down his pink eyelids, but he didn't want to return to normal until the officers were completely out the school and far far away.

Oh god, I thought I but my contact in correctly! she thought and started to panic, prepared for the consequences of her stupidity. An abrupt slap caused her to flinch in pain, turning her body to the side and drop her book in the process. She stumbled a bit but regained her balance, looking at the boy who hit her and then to the guard, whom seemed to not noticed her eye and that everything was back normal. Completely confused, she pursed her lips as the male came over to her, telling her that he hoped he didn't hit too hard.

"No," she said. "No, it's alright. Thanks for the quick help, I can't find my contact though." Chantal brought a hand up to cover her eye.

I smirk at the other's actions. I realize that it's my turn to get checked. "Next!" The officer shouts. I close my eyes and heat my whole body up. Walking up to the officer, I start coughing in his face. "Miss? Can you hold in your cough?" He says, losing his patience. I shake my head and say, "I'm sorry sir, I've caught a bit of a cold recently and-" which I interrupted myself with a fit of coughs. The officer sighs of annoyance and gives up.

"From what I saw, you're good. Next!"

I cough a few times as I walk away, then shoot the others an evil smile.

Ben put a hand on her shoulder for a second. "No need to hide. The officers are drugged and wont do anything to you. I promise." She offered kindly. "You might want t fix the contact before it gets painful though. By the way, what are your names?"

"Here put this on while I help look." Julie said giving her some gauze, he noted to himself that he should buy more gauze and extra contacts. He kneeled down to help look her contacts, they shouldn't be too far off.

Valetina finally got to the front. "What's with the bandages?" was the man first question. She took a deep breath "I gauged out my own eyes." Her voice was completely serious and dead. "What!" "I took my own eyes out, would you like to know how or what I did with them, or what my eye holes look like." Her voice gets louder and louder "or maybe I should just show you." she smiled up at the man. "Ahh no, no you're fine." "Are you sure I mean you can't even see my brain and my doctor says that it's ok to put your hand in." "No, you can go." She has to be pushed away for the next student to go. Valentina almost cries out of sheer relief and prays that no one questions her story.

"Uh, thanks," she whispered talking the gauze and placing it over her right eye. She felt a hand place on her shoulder and jumped, hoping it wasn't another guard. She was relief when it was another classmate she'd seen from her homeroom before. "Ah, that's good to know," she said with a nod. "I thought I was done for," she averted her eyes to the ground with a chuckle to help look for her contact. "I'm Chantal." she said mindlessly.

Ben nodded, smiling. "Chantals really beautiful.. Im Ben." She replied, watching as some officers were leaving. She looked at the stranger and widened her eyes at him. "Wait! Whats your name?" She asked, realizing the older guy never said.

"Julie." he said as blew the dust off Chantal's contact before handing it to her. He gave a smile at her and Ben, relieved that they made it through such a stressful situation. It made him happy.

Ben's smiled turned 50 watt, then she started laughing into her hand. "J-julie... are you a boy? Your name is almost as pretty as Chantals!" Green eyes flared brightly, happy to have something to laugh abut now. "The great and powerful warrior, Julie! Yes I met this really cute guy named Julie.." her timid voice rambled over scenarios.

"Abahbahaha" he started stammering,"Yes I'm full male!" He started to flex to show off his masculinity, he was quite toned from all the extra work he had done. He blushed hard when she called him cute,"You too." He smiled at her as he scratched the back of his head.

Valentina all but ran over to the others. "Were all right, the kids are all right!" She twirls and give a bright smile. "Awww!" She says loudly before her stomach growled again "umm does anyone have some left overs. Being this nervous makes me super hungry." She blushes.

Bens eyes widened and she turned visibly red. "Wait I didn't mean- no actually I did m-you don't call a girl named ben cute.." She was out of excuses. "..you are..." She ended up settling with, a nervous smile appearing.

"Hahaha, names are just names.." Julie smiled, still blushing before looking over at Valentina, glad that she's doing fine too. He gave Ben a glance that even he didn't know meant. He decided that he'll probably go to this high school again as a freeloading student, plus he wouldn't know what he'd do without Honesty's cooking. Another plus side was he didn't have to do any work or tests.

Honesty held up a sugar cookie with some whip cream on it that he was eating earlier. "Want one, Tina?" He asked, his eyes back to normal by now. He was quietly eating his sweet treats by himself as a victory celebration. He smiled really, really happily.

Chantal smiled at girl towards the compliment at her name and whispered a soft thanks at the male for finding and dusting off her contact. She removed the gauze and placed the contact back in her eye, making sure it was securely in place this time. She made a mental note of their names and became a bit uncomfortable at the flattering remarks going back and forth between the two. "Maybe I'll leave you two to your flattery. Julie, Ben." she nodded farewell before picking up her book and turned on her heel.

I scoff at all the cheerful faces- I don't know how, but already half of the Souls have made it past. How dumb could the SEP be? I bet that White Soul even survived. I then decide to swoop into that swimmer guy- Honesty's conversation with a girl. I needed to make as many as possible for this year. "Hey!" I say proudly to the boy.

Her eyes widen "You bet! These are soo yummy, did you make them yourself?" She shallows before staring at him and blushing "Umm Tina?"

Walking up to Julie, Ben, Valentina and Honesty I see a girl leave their little group.

"I'm glad you're all okay. Who was that?"

"Next"

The moment of truth was here, as he walked up to the officer to be inspected. He wondered what will happen next as th-

"Clear"

"What?" He muttered as he was guided out of the way. They ARE trained for this, right? He felt a big relief. Whatever happened, he wasn't going to die today. At the same time though, he was confused. Perhaps he shouldn't have given up easily like that, and maybe he shouldn't have broken his glasses. He felt that desperation easily made him go bonkers. With nothing convering his eyes right now, he averted his gaze downwards as he walked through the otherside of the gym.

Julie chuckled to himself, so this was what it was like to be young again. Not that he's any older when he left high school last year, but it was nostalgic. He went over to Honesty,"Glad I'll still get to enjoy your cooking" he laughed.

"Ah Im sorry!" She said to Chantal for whatever reason she had for being sorry. Honestly, she didn't know. She took one more embarrassed glance at Julie and sighed. "I always have an emergency chocolate bar, bear crackers and today a slice of cake.. Valentina." She offered.

Alex decided to roam around the school, keeping to herself. As she walked, she saw other Souls from earlier. She sat down on a bench in the gym, staying silent as she put her head in her hands.
