Fantasy Soul Secrets

"d-d-doesnt matter! There might be more." She said, a quivering hand wiping the blood off of her forehead as she ran. Dizzy from either the hit or the use of her abilities in such a way or maybe from the whole change in situation she was afraid to stop or slow. "Sorry.. I got the salt and oil.." She said between breaths as if it made any sort of difference.

Chantal remained close to the group but kept her distance a bit from them upon reaching outside. She was still shaken up from the whole ordeal, her arms still tense and sore from keeping Honesty suspended. Rubbing her hands together idly, she began to tap her foot and wondered what else could possibly happen to them. Above all, she hoped Cameron and the others were safe and well.

Katarina lingered with the group, the pain from her wounds subsiding. Studying her body, her favorite wound on her body was this bite mark on her thigh. It looked exactly like if a shark had bit her. She thought it was pretty cool. The cut on her cheek closed up by the blood drying, and she turned to Honesty. "How are you feeling?"

Like crap... Honesty wanted to say. But that would just worry Katarina. "I'm good. Don't worry about me." He successfully held back any shivers, pulling on his usual smile, although, again... He wasn't doing as well as he seemed. The blue soul let out a seemingly content sigh, his voice wavering for a second.

"I see, don't worry about it." Julie answered her, relieved that they seemed safe for now. Noticing that Ben was growing faint, Julie swept her off her feet, albeit in another sense and started to carry her on his back."Don't complain, you're losing a lot of blood Ben." He reasoned. They were almost out of the department store. It was only a short distance left back home, around 10 minute at this rate. Despite being tired initially, Julie would manage from the adrenaline. He tried to travel more stably in order not to strain her, keeping his composure even though he's incredibly worried.

Ben bit her lip, cutting off a complaint. She didn't want him to take care of her after he spent all night doing that. Though, she still held on and tried to be ignorant to how stressed he felt. "It was my phone. It was tracked.. I destroyed it. Relax please Julie, we're alright." She tried to reassure him, though her grip loosened a bit. They were close now.

"Come on, James." Cameron said, putting his arm on his shoulder and slapping it down twice. "We're gonna go get us some supplies." Cameron started off the list with a simple command, such as telling the younger male to grab everything that Valentina needed off of her list, playing it back as if he was being told what the list was while he dictated the items. And with that, James as well as Cameron seperated. Not entirely, however; it was only two or three isles in between both men that they actually. Cameron was focusing more on some sanitary items, like shampoo and bathroom toiletries that they needed in mass. Lucky enough, both were carrying around those little hand baskets, right?

"Not the best day to go shopping, now, is it boys?! EHEH. HEH. EUHAHAHAHAHAH."

Cameron immediately looked around, but didn't see anyone around him. "James!" The sentence was yelled, but how much time did Cameron really have? The answer was not only apparent, but right under Cameron's nose.

V was currently standing in the isle next to James, peeking at him through a hole where the bags of salt should have been. It was an extremely tiny hole, and V had to look through it a certain way, but he was able to keep an eye on James nonetheless. When James reached his hand to grab an item next to that hole, V grew a pretty sinister look on his face, attempting to time his following assault just right. Then, when he felt that James' hand was in a suitable position for V, then the government soul reached his hand through the other side of the isle, grabbing James'. V pulled the arm as far as he could into his isle, so that James' entire torso was pushed against the rack of objects. A couple fell onto the poor boy's head in the process, but that wasn't what was going to bring the pain.

V, using his hands to grab James' bicep through that small hole in the isle's rack, pulled it downward. He completely broke James' elbow in the process. As it hung down unnaturally, V even kicked it into the rack, tauning the poor boy.
"Is this what you enjoy, you dirty girl?! EHEH."

@RandomBomb

Luckily enough for James, Cameron had turned the corner and was running as fast as he could toward the armored man. He was going to completely decimate this guy for catching them off guard; Cameron was going to annihilate him further because he wasn't able to forsee the attack in the first place. Cameron was getting to soft. As he got closer and closer, V turned his head to look at the young man before Cameron's lights went completely out.

This was no mistake. Cameron didn't just drop unconscious; as he neared closer, V slowed time. Realizing that Cameron's eyes were pink, the amount of soul doping that would be in effect for V would last him a good couple of days. With Cameron thinking he was moving at regular speed, V was able to cock back his fist as far as he could and bash it into the running man's face with full force. Not only did this break Cameron's nose, but it caused blood to splatter, as well as his head to hit the floor behind him as he fell like a log.

V, grabbing Cameron by the hair, dragged his limp body out of the back door of the department store, whistling as he went on. The kicker was, every person around had been watching the entire ordeal from beginning to end without taking action.

"That was close.. I wouldn't know what I would do if you gone because I let myself doze off..." Julie sighed to himself,"I hope Cameron and James are okay on their side.." Little did Julie know, (although Harlan saw it coming). He turned his head to glance at Ben's injuries again before moving forward. It looked like she would be fine, he was a a little happy because of that after everything calmed down. "We're almost there." he said, seeing the apartment near. Something seemed terribly off though. Everything happening in this town...

Ben nodded, head leaning against Julie. "If anythings happened.. I-" She would be angry with herself first because it was her fault Arlo was led there. But being angry wouldn't stop anything. "mm." She let her voice trail off, looking at where their safe house was. well, the door was shut. A good sign. She hoped they would ditch town soon after but first, everyone had to be okay and accounted for. She closed her eyes and hoped nobody reached her comrades inside.

Julie kicked on the apartment door, his hands occupied. He waits, looking around the floor he could see some odd claw marks that weren't there before, was that blood? What the frick happened. He kicked harder, seriously concerned,"Anyone? It's Julie!" he yelled, hoping that his friends were fine.

Ben heard Julies voice as very stressed and concerned. "Is everything ok.. what d'you see?" She opened an eye but imply saw his blackish hair. "Let me down, whats happened?"

"Not much so far, but some blood dripping out..." Julie letting her down handing her some first aid stuff to take care of her wounds. He also returned her sweater which he had draped on his shoulder."They don't seem to be in the room right now." Julie said, looking through the window.

Chantal began to pace around and wished she had a book, or something, to read. Overthinking what had happened was really tipping the glass over in her mind and slowly sent her towards the edge of anxiety, especially after a certain awful sense that flowed through her body that she knew had to be Cameron. Her nervousness eased a little when she saw Julie approach the apartment along with Ben, not paying attention the fact that the group was already outside waiting for them to return.

Before jogging over to Julie, Chantal glanced at the direction in which the two souls came from. Something must be wrong if all four of them didn't come back together. As Julie kicked on the door, she let out a loud, “Hey!”, in order to get his attention.

“I'm glad you two are alright,” the girl said with a small smile as she approached them both. Her expression soon turned serious. “Where's James and Cameron? They weren't behind you?” she asked.

"They're still at the department store, can you send Cameron a mental message?" Julie turned surprised, but it looks like everyone was safe. He'll ask about the blood later but Cameron and James were a higher priority,"I don't want them to worry about us." He was unaware that those two were in a worse state than they were, splitting up was a terrible idea.

Ben looked at Chantal and her heart dropped to the floor. They didn't return first? The shopping should have been done by now. She put down the first aid kit and the sweater and frowned deeply. "Um..I can help you find them if we need to, Chantal.." A million possibilities. On of her dads work mates, the SEP, an accident. Still.. it might be nothing.

"Alright," Katarina softly replied. "That was a scary experience. Now we let out a demon into the world." She put her head in her hands. God, I'm so stupid.

Chantal shook her head at Julie. She had tried sending Cameron several of telepathic messages after she felt the awful sensation but got none back in return. A frown crept on her face and turned her attention to Ben, nodding at her. "Please, I'll need all the help I can get," she pleaded and turned back to Julie.

"We'll go on ahead. Try to get the others to come after us." she said to him before running off towards the direction she saw them come from without another word or interest of hearing what they had to say.

"So, welcome to my home!"

With Cameron still being dragged by the hair, V would use those same strands as leverage to toss the body into the nearest wall. The result of the toss actually caused more than half of Cameron's hair in the back to rip out completely. V, in return, stared at the gray plump of long hair in his hand for a minute. Two minutes. Five minutes passed, and V was eating it. Like, salivating and moaning as each greasy, dirty strand slid down his throat. Fucking disgusting.

Cameron was still passed out in an awkward position against that wall, but where was he? Well, simply put, he was in V's apartment. Everything had the stench of death, considering various, and numerous people had died within those walls over the years. All of the walls at least had one portion of old, dry, caked up blood. Some had random pasties of old news clippings about himself. There was no fridge, no bathroom, no bedroom, no kitchen. It was like a closet. A really, really large closet. Maybe it was actually a huge closet? Whatever.

V had to walk outside, and fill a bucket up with water. All the way up to the brim. It wasn't exactly a far trudge; V got the bucket, walked out of his apartment. He took fourteen flights of steps down while pretending he was hop-scotching, and tip-toed out of the front door of his complex. The hose was on the side of the building. When he went back up the stairs, he pretended to hop-scotch up, singing a school-girl rhyme in the process, before he got back to his floor. His fingers wrapped around the doorknob, and V flung the door open.

"HONEY! I'M HO-"

Cameron had finally woken up, welcoming V back with the use of a broken-off piece of the metal frame belonging to V's couch. When V walked through the door yelling, Cameron slammed it into his chin, causing V to stumble back a couple of feet. V, in return, let out a laugh, before turning his sights back on Cameron, who came at him again with the bar of metal.

This time, Cameron swung it toward his side. V, seeing the attack coming, dodged by sliding his feet back a couple of inches at the same time. When V returned them back to where they were previously, Cameron swung the medal bar again. V raised his arm, letting the bar hit it. The bar, in return, snapped in half. Cameron, shocked, moved to use his telekinesis, but was stopped when V slammed his foot into his throat, just by use of a forward push-kick. Gasping for air, Cameron backed up a couple of feet while holding his throat.

"There have been sooooooo many souls who have tried to take me out. But I don't think any have been tastier looking than youuu.~ <3"

Cameron shook his head violently, as if to shake off his injuries before putting his fists up. V grabbed the hilt of his sword from the small table that was to the right of the door.

As he neared Cameron, V spun it around his palm a couple of times.

Cameron sent a punch to the man's soloplex, but V ate it. Cameron sent another punch, but V also didn't feel it. Then, Cameron began yelling as loud as he could, punching as hard and as quick as he could by use of switching off fists. He was just standing there, pummeling V's chest; and V didn't feel a thing.

As a matter of fact, V stood there, staring down at the fists. He let it go on for thirty seconds; half a minute. Then, he lifted his sword up and swung it toward Cameron's upper torso. Cameron was too busy punching V, trying to figure out what it was that made this man impervious to his offensive onslaught.

V's sword cut clean through Cameron's left arm, slicing it off.

Cameron, as a result, stopped punching. His right arm grabbed the stump of his left, blood flying all over the place as he did - all over his own clothes and face, more on the walls, putting a pool on the floor. Cameron yelled at the sight of his arm being cut off, completely in shock that it wasn't there.

Cameron took two small steps back, still dumbfounded and his head hazy from the loss of blood. V bashed forward into Cameron's stomach, using his right shoulder, causing Cameron to fly back into the wall behind him. This cracked the back of Cameron's skull, causing blood to slide down the wall as the rest of his body did. As Cameron's bottom hit the ground below him, he hung his head down, blood beginning to pour from his mouth.

V moved in closer, kneeled, and shoved the tip of his sword into Cameron's heart.

Pink smoke, not seeable from V's perspective, began exiting Cameron's parted lips.

V twisted, and pushed until the entire blade shoved into Cameron's carcass, ripping the mask off of his face with his free hand in the process. V opened his mouth as wide as he could, laughing as hard and as obnoxious as he could into the face of Cameron.

"EHHHHHHHHHHH EHAH. EUHAHAHAHAHA!"

The pink smoke directly exited Cameron's mouth, and entered V's large, gaping mouth hole directly.

V stood up, turned his back to the dead body he left lying against the floor. Then, he dropped his sword and his body went limp, collapsing on the ground not more than two feet away from Cameron's dead frame.

Ben left the moment she got back, stopping before she left. "Ill patch up later Julie.. be back with both of them soon okay?" She smiled empathetically hoping he would get some rest.

"Stay safe, I'll bring the others when they're back" he warned, not sure if going back to the place where those men were was a good idea. He felt himself losing it though, his body barely responding. He only had to trust after overexerting himself like this. He fell down next to the wall as he tries his best to rest.

Ben ran after Chantal, blood loss replaced with worry and nerves. She beganto have a horrible feeling. "Can you track him?"

Chantal ran as fast as her legs could take her, using some of her energy to lightly bounce her up in order to speed up. The feelings of worry and anxiousness clouded her mind that she barely didn't hear Ben call out to her. She exchanged her running to a fast walk so she could reassure the other soul. “I'm certainly trying,” she said. “I can sense him and know if he's nearby or not.” Keeping her cool wasn't her best strong suit but she had to try in order to keep her head on straight.

Maybe one of the figures she saw last night took him, but she knew Cameron was strong to fight and defend himself so could this enemy truly be strong? The girl shook her head. This wasn't the time for negativity or to freak herself out over someone who could possibly be stronger than her soul pair. That was impossible, right?

She reached the supermarket and looked over at Ben, pointed at the large structure. “This is it, isn't it?” she asked. “I can sense Cameron near but... it's really faint.”

Eyes opening to the concrete floor below him, Cameron's hands both pressed against the floor, pushing him up. Cameron tried to stand, but his legs felt like jello; for some reason, he couldn't move them. Sliding himself toward the couch, he used his hands to grasp the suede material and pull his back up against it, facing the door. This wasn't right; he knew he should have been dead. He felt the pain of that sword sticking through his torso. His skin went cold. His organs shut down and he blacked out.

Cameron died, and he witnessed it happen.

So, what was going on? He pulled himself with both of his hands... His hands.

Cameron flipped his palms upside down, those pink hues jetting toward them. They were gloved, in black and red. Armor. Cameron was being weighed down by armor. Pressing his fingers against his face, he felt flesh; putting his hands through his hair, he felt short-length hair. Moving his hands to look down at the rest of his attire, he saw an outfit that was extremely familiar.
"These are V's..." Then, Cameron, in horror, slowly looked up toward the door, and then peered over to the side where he saw his old body lying broken, batterned, cut up and butchered in a pool of it's own blood.

Cameron let out a horrific scream, that could easily be heard from the outside of the building.

Katarina got bored and decided to turn to Julie. "Hello," She said to him, still in a soft, scared voice. "How are you?" Katarina just needed to talk to someone right now after the experience. Ben and Chantal ran off, looking for the others. Katarina hates the idea of splitting up, but it might be the best to prolong our survival. Hoping they come back quickly, she picks up a rock from the ground and repeatedly throwing it up in the air and catching it.

Ben nodded. "Is.. is he still there?" She asked, looking around the area dizzily. "We need to find exactly where they are.."
