Fantasy Soul Secrets

I decide to actually listen to the teacher and take notes for once, but instantly regret it. As I pick up my pen, I get shocked. "Ah, what the hell?" I whisper sharply, dropping my pen. Calming myself down, I stare at the pen for a while and then a sudden realization hits me. I tear out a piece of paper in my notebook and write down, "Yellow, huh?" and pass it back to the girl sitting behind me. Hopefully I'm not wrong about her having a Soul Color, that would be an awkward situation.

-Jane's POV-

"Excuse me ma'am may I use the bathroom?" I say shyly with a face, innocent voice. The teacher allows me to get up, and I begin to walk out of the room, grinning. More free time, hmm. I wouldn't actually use the bathroom, I would just fix my "makeup" and text, maybe smoke a cigarette or something. I begin to fix myself up in the mirror- I had to keep myself looking as if I was an innocent youth.

((If anyone wants to cause a scene in the bathroom, just come on in xD ))

"People, chill. It's a perfect day, so there's no need for drama," Alex said with a small smirk. Hearing all the talk about soul colors, she smiled opening a bottle of water and taking a sip. She added a flavor packet and stirred it up without touching it, thankful that the teacher wasn't looking.

After a bit, Ben shifted up and asked to use the bathroom. She didn't really have to go. She was just looking for an excuse to breathe without being surrounded by others. Plus, her contact felt folded. If it was ripped, she would have to leave early. She slipped inside and saw the earlier maroon. Giving a nod of acknowledgement, she fumbled with the piece. "There are a lot of us here.. huh?"

-Jane's POV-

I grin, feeling the presence of a Green Soul in the room. Obviously, me being a maroon- I don't think she would like me at first. I shrug and talk in an innocent voice "I guess" putting on lipstick in the mirror, and puckering my lips. I then turn around and give an innocent looking smile once again- hopefully with her not being able to see the mental, crazed, sadistic child inside.

Lexi stifles a giggle behind her hand when she see's little-miss-fiery jump in *shock*, and quickly replied to the note, wondering should she mess with her or simply answer? "Call me Lex, or Lexi, if you dont want me calling you Fiery might as well tell me your name."

The Maroon left, after a while so did the blonde. Hmm... how did so many of end up here?

Ben's eyes widened slightly. She knew this girl was a maroon, but she seemed sweet. Maybe it was an act but.. huh. Well, at least she wasn't rolling her eyes or calling her dad a killer. The maroon was actually really pretty. And so.. due to a naive open mind, she spoke. "I've never met a maroon before like this.. you are really pretty too."

I received the note back and I smirked. I wrote down, "I'm Katarina, you could call me Kat for short. Meow." and passed it back to her. Class is about to end soon, and I'm already exhausted. I might just play around with people with my powers to relieve boredom.

Honesty slowly opened his eyes, looking down at the dark drain soak up any taint of chlorine underneath him. He promised himself he wouldn't be so late to swim in the pool in the morning before school. After washing his hair and body, smelling now like coconut [his favorite smell], he dried himself with a towel from his duffelbag. He changed into a black tank top and a light blue hoodie with some normal jeans. He tossed his wet swimsuit into his special bag he shoved into his duffelbag. Honesty own a relatively small duffelbag, so he shoved it into his school backpack, patted it a few times, before shoving his hands in his hoodie pockets and heading towards school. Hell, he was already late, but it was still early, and he wanted something to eat. After ducking into a small store then buying orange juice and two large egg muffins [it was still breakfast time of course] Honesty speed walked towards school, keeping his head down.

Once it made it towards the safe doors, he started strolling towards his first period, taking big bites out of his second breakfast today. He got a tardy slip and a disapproving look for the food.

He opened the door to the slightly chattering classroom, seeing a few people walk out this classroom before he entered. Honesty, putting on his trademark lazy or even smug looking smile for the teacher who would be obviously annoyed he was late, handing the figure the tardy slip and soon after took a swig of the OJ. He scanned around to look where to sit, walking forward calmly. Honesty was the definition of calm, and took slow steps. Souls everywhere, eh.

Grinning a the note, Lex quickly shoved it in her pocket as the time was ticking on to lunch, right when a new kid walked in. trying to catch his eye, Lex waved and pointed at a chair across from her, if he is another Soul, I think this "rare" condition is getting out of control she though.

I smile even more "Why thank you! You are as well!" I say, sounding as kind as I possibly can. She was pretty though- I must admit.

"You have very pretty green eyes, I must say" winking a bit, while putting on some blush in the mirror. I mine as well be nice to this- girl for now, at least she will be some kind of acquaintance to me. I then put on some dark eyeliner above my bright vampire-like red eyes, still smiling trying to please her.

Ben placed the contacts in again and smiled at the returned compliment. She couldn't help but peak at the reds. Its like the other girl had no fear of getting caught. It impressed her. "Call me Ben. Sorry about the white soul earlier.. he is just a bit.. biased. I think he got his own problems and fear a bit mixed up.. oh sh*t!" She cussed uncharacteristically as her contact folded and seemed to have a tear. She had more.. but not here.

"Class sure is a little weird today." thought Travis as glanced around the classroom. He felt some sort of tension in the room, as though there was some sort of secret that lingered. Several people have left and re-entered the classroom and there doesn't seems to be a great attention to the teacher. Travis was only paying half attention as well, he was doodling several lighting signs on a corner of his notebook.

I peer at the new kid that walked in. I turn to Lexi and see that she's trying to wave him toward us. What is she trying to do? If he's another Soul, what is going on here? I honestly thought I was the only one with a Soul Color in this town and it's definitely ridiculous how there are so many in one place. This disease isn't as rare as I thought. If he comes and sits down over here, I don't think I could handle another annoying person sitting next to me. Even if it is a short remainder of class before lunch.

Valentina sighed she was bored, hungry and had forgot to wear her contacts today. The last part wasn't so bad since nobody seem to notice not even the teacher. She reach down and pulled out some candy, all foreign and colorful, and begin to munch on them. Hopefully this teacher didn't have a no eating in class rule.

Honesty noticed a girl trying to get his attention. There was an empty seat right across from her and some other female who looked slightly annoyed. He walked over slowly and sat down, putting down his backpack. "Thanks." He said gingerly, and already had finished his food before he even sat down. Honesty daintily drank it, trying to savor the drink.

My eyebrows instantly raise, and my mentality raised when I heard 'White Soul'. "The While Soul... what's his name?" Ignoring the apology- I was on a set to find out who this person was. He would be a disgrace to all the maroon souls.

Ben sensed the hostility easily and shook her head The guy was scared enough of them as it was. "Im sorry.. but I doubt he would like me to tell you who he was.." It wasn't like he could be hurt by her but still.

I groan as he sat down near us. Looking over to him, I see him drinking something. Smirking at him, I heat up his drink to a temperature that would most likely burn his tongue. I'm bored and I just want to mess with some people. Waiting for his reaction, I turn back around to face the teacher which is doing a horrible job containing this class. We're all talking, playing and not paying attention, yet this teacher continues to drone on and on, not phased by all the distractions.

Just as the new blue guy sat across from her, Lexi noticed Meow looking disapprovingly as the new guy settled in, she gave Meow a apologetic smile and leaned in to talk to her, seeing as the class was pretty much in disorder already. "Sorry there Meo- I mean Kat, but um, its been quite a while since that Maroon on the girl have been gone, think somethings up? and-- are you messing with someone?"

"Oh... Alright" I say, sounding like a saddened child who had done something wrong. In a moment, I give another smile and preceed to exit "Goodbye, Ben" I say, leaving a note on the sink what my name was- it had 'Jane' written on it.

I walk back into class, and I sense someone new, a different soul- however I couldn't really tell what the color was, as if it was an ocean's view covering it. It was a boy, with dark hair and was very tall. He was kind of cute, but I can't let feelings overcome me. The only open spot was behind him, so I sit quietly behind him, with my sinister-like grin.

It was a long while, but finally Julie managed to check out his stuff after helping one of the old ladies carry her bag. The old lady thanked him and said she had a granddaughter his age and other stuff he didn't care about before he bowed and shook her off. After paying, he went to put back on his shades as he head outside, only realizing that it wasn't there. Those were his favorites shades too...it came to him that he might had dropped it near the pond earlier. "%&^%@." , he instantly bolted out the store toward the school, carrying the cans around his arms so the bag doesn't tear.

Meanwhile...

"Woah look at Julie's killer shades..." One rabbit held it up before donning it on, who will be called Steve.

"Let me see, let me see!" Steve's other rabbit friend, Dave leaned on him trying to grab the shades for himself. With all the fumbling around, they tossed the shades into the pond.

"Dammit Dave, look at what you done!", Steve yelled at him. Both watched at the shades sunk into the bottom, feet scratching their ear.

As Lex was wondering about the Maroon, the one and only came in, and chose a seat diagonal from her. She glanced back through her hair to peer at the newcomer.

"Well, there's one of them," I say as the maroon soul walks into the room. I turn to Lexi and give her a smile, and in a mocking tone I say, "And no, I'm most certainly not messing around with anyone."

The maroon soul sits near us, behind the boy that just sat down by Lexi. I feel slightly nervous about the Maroon soul, but I quickly shrug it off.

Ben frowned, feeling as though she should have been nicer about it. She looked at the note. "Jane? I'll have to remember you." She mumbled to herself. Then she looked up at the mirror. One eye practically glowing deep green. The other muted. Upset with it, she took out the other and let her bangs fall over her eyes. Not gonna work for the whole day.

She shuffled back to class as slowly as she could and slipped in, too worried about her eyes showing to tell the teacher she was feeling sick. She could say she threw up or something. Ben sat back down casually and looked at her notebook under thick blonde bangs, flashing a half smileto those she recognized out of nature. Damn nature..
