Fantasy Soul Secrets

Julie watched as someone beat him to helping the short girl. Glad to see there's still some nice people around. He started to head over to the can aisle to buy some food, though he really wanted to buy some snacks but he couldn't risk spending money on luxuries, even if they don't cost that much. He started grabbing more cans after inspecting each of the labels, tossing them in the plastic bag. They were cheap and would manage. He really wanted to eat some good food...the tall male did look familiar though. Julie wondered if they went to highschool together or something.

James looked at the newcomers. One was antisocial... And a Maroon soul. Well, they had no effect on him. He decided it would be best if he didn't show the maroon who he was. Then they would try and attack him. And he didn't need his family's sacrifice to be in vain. He continued taking notes on his laptop. Five potential souls in the same room? Wow. Hmm. James waited for the teacher to come in. Then he spoke up. "So, maroon. You going to torture anyone soon?" He just waited for a reaction.

-Janes POV-

I arrive at school on my motorcycle- I didnt technically have a permit, but everyone knew it.

I take a step onto the concrete steps that lead towards the school, it was a cloudy day it seemed so I smiled grimly while walking up it- cloudy days made me feel safe and secure. More than I already am.

After a few moments, I walk into the classroom and glare at everyone with my maroon-beaming eyes, and sit down near the right-back of the room. I smile, putting on my "innocent" act for the teachers.

((Jack has AP classes in the morning, Jane has normal classes.))

Valentina yawn and turned over in bed, today was going to be a lazy day for her, noway was she getting out of this bed. She laid there for a few minutes before all three of her corgis decided that nope, she needed to get up. Valentina crawled out of bed shooing away her dogs while going to keep some breakfast. She popped a piece of toast in the toaster and then went to go put on some clothes. As she came back she finally checked the time. Crap! It was super late and she still had school today, quickly pouring her dogs some food, she bolted out her house, toast in mouth. She ran fast pushing many people out her way, as the school got closer. "Excuse me, excuse me!" She cried storming into class. "Sorry I'm late!"

Ben nodded solemnly and without anything else, crumbled up her tiny piece of paper, bit it in half and maybe sure the writing was not recognizable anymore. She chuckled at the other girls remark android the remaining piece from the teachers line of sight. She froze when a "soul" was mentioned in fear. Why was this guy being so reckless?! If he got caught.. well.. death. "What are you saying..?" she whispered.

Fuyu's cheek muscle twitched and he gave the boy a nice big smile, "I don't know what you're talking about" He said, in response, before muttering under his breath, "Nice contacts, Light soul" He growled before brushing his hair out of his face, slightly, he wanted a better look at the kid, his eyes were such an intense color, it was hard not to notice, they had been bright before sixteen but grew worse after. He may not care about eye color but Fuyu cared about sarcastic wannabes

James heard the girl say that. He would tell her... Later. He whispered toward the guy, "I know what you are." Hasn't the kid noticed that he had bright maroon eyes? Hmm... He heard the bell ring for first period. He could probably make it through the day, then begin to make plans for leaving. In the meantime, he would befriend the girls. He walked over and sat down. He scribbled down, "Color?" on a paper.

-Jane's POV-

Smiling at the teacher, and pulling out my notebook that has harsh doodles people I hate being tortured, I begin to write down notes for the class- when some thing catches my eye. Could that be? No. It couldn't... a Light Soul being here? I wouldnt fail those bright eyes anywhere- he had to. I absolutely hated White Souls- they have a negative feeling on me. A feeling to where I cannot control- to where I do not have freedom. Before he can notice me, I quickly glance the other way- hiding my maroon eyes. I begin to whisper to myself- I couldn't be in the same room as him...

Alex looked up at the stranger and nodded silently. "Umm, yea. Thanks," she managed to say, even though it was barely audible. Taking the can from him, she gave a polite smile. He was tall. Much taller than her tiny frame. He was attractive, compared to several others she knew. Feeling heat rise to her cheeks as she blushed lightly, she quickly turned on her heel and mumbled another, "Thanks," before going to the checkout line.

I tried listening in on the two's conversation. Maroon soul and White soul talking to each other, huh? That's got to be good. After all, White souls are the only ones resistant to the Maroon's deathly powers. The White soul sits down next to me and the other girl. Looking down at the note, I roll my eyes and wrote down, "Red." on the paper. I look away and tap my fingers against the desk. This is incredibly boring and dangerous, that we're all going to school. One of us is going to be found out if we try to live normal lives, because we're, well, not normal.

Fuyu sadistic smile grew in length, "No, you don't... Actually, you have no idea" He said before going towards the back, taking his spot, he glanced over at a girl, (Jane). He rolled his eyes at her before brushing his hair back into his face, he started zoning out already, his fist tight with annoyance, he never had a hatrid to white souls but he did have a large hatrid to kids that don't know their place

Ben heard the bell and quickly scribbled down on the paper. "Green. If you don't be careful we could all die. Even those who had no part in any of this. It will be a massacre." She glanced at the maroon and the white. Neither of them deserved any extreme repercussions.. even if Fuyu's ability frightened her.

Julie watched in mock surprise at how the girl was blushing, though he had to say the male was attractive but he wouldn't say it because that's not how he swing. It was funny, but he didn't admit it. He started walking over,"Hey, is this Sam..? You gotten so tall...but you're still broody as ever." Julie laughed, which came off to sound mockingly. He hoped Samael remembered him, but it could had been unlikely since he was always alone all the time during highschool. He had a friendly smile on his face as he waits a response.

Valentina panted as she went to sit down, running all the way here was not the best idea. She loudly made her way to the seat the teacher had pointed out to her. It seem like she had to sit by some mean looking dude, she sighed she always had rotten luck. She stared at the dude it seems like he was a maroon soul, how scary, she giggled and sat down or at least that's what she meant to do but somehow her dumb butt miss the seat and she fell to floor. Well it looks like this was going to be a rotten day.

"Good morning." Travis said to the classroom as he snacked on the last of a fruit bar. When he entered, he threw away the wrapper in a nearby trash can. The room already seemed to be very lively, albeit it was tinted in yellow; it was the glasses that reminded him of the fact that he wasn't "normal" anymore . Before he went to his seat, the girl next to him somehow fell down. "Oh!" He said as he extended his hand to her. "Are you okay?" He asked.

@Mikailgirl

Samael squinted at the boy, "Uh, do I know you? I am sorry, do I know you, cause you know me" He brushed his shoulder in annoyance at the girl, he got the can down and she ignored him, he brushed his hair out of his eyes and glanced him over

Fuyu glanced at her and sighed, he yanked her arm upright, enough to hurt a bit but not enough to bruise, "There you go" He muttered before crossing his arms in annoyance, he didn't want to help her up buthe still didn't want to be labeled. When Travis offered, he rolled his eyes, "She just fell down for God's sake" He growled, "Are you going to call her an ambulance?" He snapped, loudly

She looked at the mean dude and wonder what his problem was, but she didn't want to be rude "thanks, I guess." She quickly sat down and turned to the dude with the tinted glass, which was kind of strange and gave him a smile. "And thank you for trying to help. My name's Valentine, what's yours."

-Jane's POV-

I scoffed at all the kind and supportive comments coming from the children in the rooms. I hated how everyone would use something as simple as "helping a girl up" or something. If someone tripped, I would leave them there. It makes me look more superior, and lower their esteem in the list. I sigh, finally getting bored of taking notes. Why did I even do this school thing? I could just survive life with my lovely powers.

I could sense that almost half of the people were Souls- call it somewhat of a good eye or sense. I grim, knowing that there is a white Soul in the room still. After school, I sure would destroy the horrid existence- thats what Dad taught us right?

That's funny, the first people I have "befriended" were my least favorite soul colors. They're too nice. Hopefully, they don't annoy me or I WILL burn them. I giggle at my own thoughts, and looked down at the paper. I slowly write down, "If you find any more people with souls, please gather them and maybe we should stick together?". I wince at my last two words. I am not fond of being very close to people, I get annoyed very easily.

Julie looked down with a saddened expression on his face,"Oh so you don't remember me..." His face instantly brightened up though since he was expecting it,"We went to highschool together. "So..how are you doing? I'm kind of concerned, you were always quiet, you had no friends, you ate alone." He started going on about why Samael was such a loner,"Blah blah blah blah blah"

Samael flinched at his words, "Oh, I'm not a people..... person" He muttered, embarrassed, "I think I would have remembered you though, you are quite a... person" He tried for a compliment

James quickly wrote, "They killed my parents. I'm planning on leaving within the week." He grimaced. James didn't like that memory. He looked over and saw another maroon soul. And she looked like she wanted to kill him. Shit. He didn't need another person trying to kill him. He spoke up. "And that may change to today, cause a maroon is looking like they want to kill me. Now that'll make a second attempt to kill me." He ran out. Why did this damned thing happen to him?

Ben smiled at the redhead, considering how she seemed irritated, then read the paper. Maybe a logical approach would be best. Make the girl feel like she can lead the group without being emotionally involved. Her obvious indifference made it clear an emotional approach or friendliness would only irritate her. She chuckled and wrote down, "Its smart to think so. A larger group can be used in several ways to everyone advantage in escaping." She grinned gratefully, then frowned as James ran off. "Is he okay..?" She got up.

"You think so?" Julie asked thinking back on his highschool days, he was usually snoozing during school and had to work really harder than everyone else to get the same grades."I have to get back home, do you want to keep in touch?", he asked, although he was already entering in his number on Samael's phone after he pickpocketed it.

Realizing she forgot something to drink, Alex ran back down the isle she had come from, carefully pushing past the two conversation, and to the soft drink isle. She grabbed several bottles of soda before walking back. Deciding she was feeling confident today, she shot a wink towards the tall stranger as she made her way back. She silently waited for the cashier to ring up her things.
