Okay so, you could do this either way but a curved double bladed sword that in resonance form transforms into a giant Chakram or Mezzaluna knife. An ability you could do with it:

Soul Shredder: In Resonance form the blades on the chakram rotate in the opposite direction automatically, carving through whatever it hits like a buzzsaw

Another one is a lightning rod that acts a Bo staff, which in resonance form can shift into a javelin of literal lightning

Astralworks I thought of the chain too, but not like a leash, no. A chain so that you can use it like a chain mace or some shit. A chain mace that bites.
