Soul Eater (Celtic Hero and Katt)

Sid only argued that from the scene he'd made was because she was making jokes. This being a rather serious matter he wasn't going to be tolerant for it. "Mac just leave." Jamie spoke up from behind him. "Its just detention..I'm used to it..I'll catch up with you later."

Love....is over rated

Mac stood his ground. He wasn't about to let his weapon go through punishment without him. "Look, like I said, it's not a big deal, it was an inside joke. So if she's staying for a detention, so am I."

She actually yelled this time. "Just give it a rest and leave all you're doing is causing now trouble!" Jamie was still mad at him for selling her out for nothing. And his attempts to stay here were only pissing her off more.

Love....is over rated

Mac frowned and backed off. He slipped out of the room and headed to a bench that was need the door. Then he sat down, pulling his hood over his head. He felt extremely bad for using Jamie like that, but what other choice did he have?

Jamie was stuck in there for another three hours. Sid had given her an extremely, and horribly long lecture on respect. Once he was finished she was ready to bang her head against a wall. Thankfully he'd finally let her go.

Gathering her things and stuffing them into her bag Jamie swiftly fled the classroom. Upon opening the for to leave she noticed Mac surprisingly sitting on the bench. 'Why didn't he go home?' She asked herself. Not once did a word leave her mouth though.

Love....is over rated

While he waited, Mac did one-handed handstand pushups. He figured this way he would be bettering himself and enduring a sort of punishment with Jamie. However, Jamie was in the room for three hours. Mac had gotten to the point where he had to switch hands a few times.

When he finally heard Jamie coming, he pushed off the bench, landing on his feet and sitting back down as if nothing had happened. He waited for Jamie to come out of the room, then he stood and walked over to her saying, "How does he expect us to get any studying or practice in if he keeps us for that long after class? Doesn't he know we're going to be the best team ever?"

"How can we even be a team if you throw me under the bus!?" Jamie exclaimed. She was staring at him with a hand on her hip.

Mac looked to the ground, feeling inferior. "I… I'm sorry Jamie. I'll explain everything… you deserve to know. J-just, I can't to it here. Let's head to the apartment okay?"

"Fine." Jamie scoffed. She began to walk towards the entrance of the school. Not even waiting up for Mac.

Love....is over rated

Mac followed behind Jamie like a depressed puppy. He wasn't sure how Jamie would take his explanation. He feared that telling her would would not end well, yet if she was to be his partner, she needed to know. It took a while for them to take the last step of the DWMA into the city below, but the apartment wasn't far off from there. It was newly assigned and Mac hadn't been to it yet, so they were both in for a surprise.

"Uh... have you been inside yet Jamie?" he asked tentatively.

"Nope." She swiftly said before grabbing the key from under the door mat that said 'WELCOME' in large letters. Quickly unlocking the door she opened it and stepped inside. The smell of lemon pledge filled her nose, 'Must have been cleaned just minutes ago..' She thought to herself as she slipped her shoes off before walking on the recently placed carpet. "Not bad, all the boxes in the living room are a real issue though." Jamie chuckled softly. She was trying to calm down and not be so mad at Mac. Sometimes Jamie had trouble with letting things go, the poor brunette had some real, yet unprescribed mental issues, that she could make seem like dust in the wind.

Mac leaned around Jamie to get a good look of the apartment and his face brightened. Sure there was a little work to be done, but he didn't mind that. Walking past Jamie and looking around the room, Mac gasped, "Wow. This place is actually ours?! I love it! And they have beds!!!!"

It wasn't that long till Mac fell to his knees outside a bedroom. A tear started to roll down his cheek, though he tried to hold it back. He didn't want Jamie to see him like that. Yet she undoubtedly did.

Jamie couldn't help herself but laugh. "Why ya cryin'?" Jamie asked with a slight tease in her voice. She's lived a semi normal life most of hers, happy-ish family, nice house, no siblings. She lived the golden life basically. That was till she descovered her powers, she had kept them hidden for so long till one horrible night, but that's off topic. Jamie was used to the bed, kitchen, usual homly things.

Mac sniffled and didn't say anything for a moment. Finally, he said, "I'm fine. Don't mind me. Having a bed isn't that big of a deal. Besides, a bed is just a place where you commonly sleep right? I've had a place like that before. It's not a big deal."

"Okay......" Jamie answered slowly. Her eyes watching him. "Now...before anymore side attractions are made. What did you so desperately need to tell me?" She finally asked.

Mac sighed and look to the floor before speaking, "Before I start, I'd like to ask that you listen to everything I have to say before you make your opinion. Alright, so you remember that student Professor Sid was talking about today? The one he said was an enemy of the DWMA? I… I think he was referring to me."

Mac stopped for a moment. He didn't want to give Jamie too much at one time.

Jamie scoffed, yet held her tongue like he asked. She couldn't believe the words leaving his mouth. ' Why does he think the DWMA would be after him!? Unless he's helped a witch there's no reason for them to chase a meister.' She spoke to herself mentally.

Mac looked to the floor and continued, "You see, I was once a member of the Star Clan. Not only was I a member, I was born into the family and raised under their teachings. This is why I am an enemy of the DWMA. I have no intention of ill will toward them, yet I am still their enemy."

Jamie stared at him in awe. "Can I tell you something..?" Her eyes gleaming and a smile on her face. "Well...show you anyways?"

Mac cast a questioning look. He couldn't understand what the smile was for. Was she going to try and turn him in for money or something? Reluctantly, Mac asked, "What do you want to show me?"

(I would love to, and I apologize once again this time for my short absence, I was locked out of my account)
