He rolled his eyes sarcastically. “Right, whatever you say,” he had joked with her as he looked over to Anubis. “I’m sure I can get Alex to watch him?” He had asked in questioning as if it was an indecisive statement. He had relaxed as he leaned back into the chair.

She chuckled as she nodded her head yes. “I’m sure you can ask him then if not then.” She said with a hum. She knew it was a hard ask to find someone to watch a puppy. “You sure he won’t destroy my apartment?” She teased as she honestly didn’t know Alex. She didn’t have anyone who could watch him so it was the best shot. “We need to take him to the vet to.” She said as she shifted to get comfortable in his lap. She laid her head against his collarbone.

“I’ll ask him later tonight,” he had whispered to her as he moved one arm to pat Anubis on the head as he was jumping around near them. “Alex is a responsable person,” he had nuzzled her in the neck before he leaned his head back and closed his eyes to relax more. “I’ll make an appointment for a vet visit,” he had smiled softly to her.

Kat chuckled as she nodded her head yes. She reached out to pet Anubis. “Yeah…” she hummed rubbing the arm around her almost in a nervous manor. “Is it sad that I honestly don’t want to see my father tomorrow.” She asked as she felt bad that she didn’t have an open relationship with her old man. But how can she when he desires to control her. “The guy…who my father said yes to. I told him no…he wouldn’t listen to my nos so he went to him. And we’ll my father didn’t listen either and said yes…the dudes a creep the kind you don’t want to be alone with.” She admitted as she played with vinces fingers in a nervous manor.

“No, it isn’t. Assuming with a father like yours, there’s no reason to be wanting to see him.” He had mumbled with a slight frown. Vincent felt bad at the fact that he couldn’t do something sooner. He shook his head in aggravation as he opened his eyes and used his hand to tilt up her head by her chin, so he’d go face to face with her. He gave an over-protective look, as if he would murder someone. “Neither and nobody is allowed to to touch you,” he had sternly said to her.

Kat gave him a soft smile as she leaned in and kissed him. She nodded her head yes “ok.” She said as she knew the uphill battle Vince has with her family. To normal people making life choices seemed easy like just don’t do it but when the weight and eyes of the world are watching it becomes so much harder to say no. She knew the pressure all to well because the one slipup she did have it was all over the news for a week straight. “Don’t worry just dress nice and hold your ground.” She told him with a hum as she rubbed her hands across his arm.

He kissed her back as he kept a grin to her. “Don’t worry about me, alright,” he had chuckled a bit. He knew that he’d end up arguing with someone but that was the fun of it. He loved to talk back, and create a disaster. “Hm, what do I wear,” he had pondered to himself as he leaned back again and closed his eyes. He was relaxed the entire time she was with him.

Kat hummed as she rested her head against his shoulder. “I’m wearing the dress and heels because he wants to meet at an up class restaurant thinking I won’t show my crazy in public.” She said with a soft chuckle as she shrugged her shoulders “Wear whatever you want. I’m sure we won’t be staying.” She chuckled as she closed her eyes. She knew that this was going to be interesting to say the least. “What will your dad do when he learns of us?”

“Wear what you want to wear, not what he wants,” he had whispered to her. He had thought to himself. He wasn’t sure if his father would even care at this point considering it’s been so long they have contacted each other. He had a feeling if he did, he’d make a big deal about it because he’d always say to stay alone, because that’s how it’s supposed to be. He shrugged as he pulled her closer to keep comfortable. “Who knows. Probably whine like a kid,” he had scoffed.

Kat kissed his cheek as she slipped out of his lap. She moved to get herself something to drink from the fridge. “Mmm why will we whine?” She was clueless as she walked back to him. She knew her father hated hers so any other reaction was confusing to her.

she leaned in and kissed him. “Would you stay tonight or go back?” She asked as she pet Anubis softly.

“Your staying single because nothing good comes with a relationship,” he had sternly mocked his fathers words before he kissed her back and stood up, and held her in a tight hug. “Do you want me to stay?” he had asked with a slight smile on his face.

Kat laughed as she wrapped her arms around his neck. “Hmm well you are my soulmate that’s a different kind of relationship.” She knew that Vince was hers because the beautiful gold words that were given to her since birth. She hummed as she nodded her head yes. “Stay.” She said as she nuzzled his neck.

“Your not wrong,” he had smiled to her before he relaxed himself as he held her close. He nodded before giving a relieved sigh, “I’ll stay,” he’d whisper to her before looking to his phone. “I guess I have some calls to make,” he didn’t want to move though, he wanted to stay within her reach.

Kat moved to playfully pull herself away so she could sit on the couch. “Yep don’t worry if you need to go for a minute Anubis and I will be here.” She said as Anubis jumped up to her for pets. She chuckled as the puppy took Vinces spot laying on her legs

He sighed slightly before grabbing his phone, and walked over to Kat, leaning over and giving her a quick peck on her lips. “I’ll be back,” he had whispered to her before heading outside her dorm to have his conversations.

He had called Alex, about his plan for tomorrow. Luckily he had agreed to watch Anubis while they were out. He didn’t ask much of why, which was a good thing because Vincent didn’t really want to explain. He had gave him her dorm number, so he’d be able to find his way to watch their puppy. Next, he had called one of his tailors; it had been a long time so it was a surprise but he needed something nice to wear so, why not get something nice.

Vincent stood outside for a while, due to his calls. Once they ended he had leaned against the brick wall and yawned as he took a break for a couple of minutes.

Kat had called for pizza because she didn’t want to leave Anubis alone in the apartment while he was getting used to it. “Come on anubis...” she said as she moved to get his leash on since she had a few minutes before pizza arrived. She texted Vince telling him ‘brb doors unlocked.’ She didn’t see the need to lock the door since they were just going outside. “Let’s go.” She grabbed her phone as she took anubis for his walk.

He looked down to his phone as it buzzed. He looked to her message before nodding to himself and headed back to her dorm to go inside. He had closed the door behind him, as he slumped himself down onto the chair, and closed his eyes. He hated talking to people; especially over the phone, he’d rather talk in person but it was an oh well. He was slightly tired so he rested a bit before she and their Anubis had came back.

Kat chuckled as she came back 20 minutes later with anubis. She let him off the lead before he went to his bed to play with his toys. She quietly walked to see Vince resting on the couch. She chuckled as she moved to get a blanket from the closet. She draped it over him before she moved to sit at her desk. She let him rest because clearly he had a long day. She quietly answered the door when the pizza came. She set the food down in the kitchen before she called anubis over to feed him as well.

He had stayed asleep for a while until he heard the door close and he shifted before sitting up and ruffling his hair as he looked to the blanket that he had. He had slightly smiled before he had stared to the floor trying to wake himself up enough to get up and go to Kat.

Vincent was just ready for tomorrow to come. He wanted to see what type of things he could pull off. But no matter what she says, if her father says anything uber ‘upsetting’, he won’t hold himself back to say anything.

Kat yawned as she set at at the kitchen island with the pizza. She was reading over school work as she ate since she missed class. One of her study mates sent the notes to her which the thanked the girl for. She chuckled as anubis gave her the puppy dog eyes for her food. “Eat your own food. You can’t have mommy’s maybe you can steal daddy’s when he wakes up.” She said with a chuckle as she moved to highlight on the sheet before taking a bite. She didn’t hear Vince moving in the living room.

Vincent had checked his phone before he had sneaked into the kitchen, as she moved behind Kat and hugged her. He had still been almost half asleep, when he held her from behind the chair and leaned over to kiss her cheek.

He had closed one eye before looking to the pizza before he had looked down to Anubis with a small smile. “Is it morning yet?” he had mumbled to her before moving over and leaning against the table.

She jumped a bit when she felt arms around her. She wasn’t expecting it since she was reading the notes. She chuckled as she shook her head no. “No eat then we will go to bed.” She said as she motioned to the pizza on the counter. She set down her pen as she turned her head to him. “Anubis wants your food so you might want to hurry.” She teased as anubis put his head on her lap in search for the food.

He had softly chuckled before moving himself and grabbing a piece of pizza. He sat down and began to eat as he tore off a little piece of crust to hand over to Anubis.

He hummed quietly to himself as he thought to himself, yawning. He’d check his phone buf he didn’t care if anyone tried contacting him because he was busy, and just tired.

Kat raised an eyebrow at him when he fed Anubis. She laughed as she shook her head. “Sucker” she said as she moved to clean up before kissing his cheek. “I’ll go get ready for bed when your done put the pizza up alex can eat it. Then take Anubis to the bed.” She said as she went to get ready for bed and changed into her pjs. After she brushed her teeth before she wondered to her bed with a tired look. She loosely tied her hair back before helping Anubis on the bed. “Good boy.” She chuckled as she walked with him.

Vincent had nodded. A couple of minutes later he had finished eating, and then put the box of pizza into the refrigerator. He decided to just sit back down on the couch and lean back as he went on his phone. He’d figure to give Kat and Anubis some space.
