Fantasy Son's and Daughters of Olympus

Freya sighed, relaxing as Ira and hunter left Abby and Freya alone.

"What's going on Frey?" Abby asked and Freya shrugged. "You're coming with me right? I can't face them alone. Please Frey?" she begged, placing her hand on Freya's arm. Freya sighed and nodded. "Fine I'll come, but I reserve the right to leave when I want to," she said simply. Abby nodded and stepped out of the cabin, leaving her alone for a while. Abby walked into Demetri's cabin and lent against the wall by the shower. "Demetri," she said simply. "Freya says she's coming, do you mind if I use your shower?"

Demetri was startled at first not expecting anyone to come here. He wiped the foggy glass and finally could see her. '' Only if I get to wash your hair.'' he started wiggling his eyebrows playfully to amuse her.

Abby giggled and peeled off her clothes, climbing in the shower with him. "I was hoping you'd say something like that," she teased him, wrapping her arms around his neck as she kissed him. The water fell onto her hair and she grinned at him before her eyes travelled down his body.

'' Oh Abby,'' Demetri chuckled as he felt her breast poke him. '' But... We are washing those hair first priority.'' Demetri added with a wink as he took his shampoo and poured some in his hand. Her hair was perfectly fine but he was presenting her to his family tonight and he knew how his mother was VERY picky about the girls. They had to be very polite, formal, innocent and act like one. Not rude or whatsoever. Basically, the mother wanted , what she would say, La Creme de la Creme.

Still smiling slightly, but in her usual style of deadpan humor, Idris informed Romeo, "You would have a messier house, would have a much fuller pantry, and would eat less fish."

Something almost no one knew about Idris was that she was a very good cook, due to the fact that her mother was a horrible one. Before she had hit middle school, she was already making three meals a day for the two of them, much to her mother's protestations. The kitchen was the one place Idris had been in control. Her mother had taken to calling her "Kitchen no Jou-ousama." (The Kitchen Queen) So, when it had been confirmed that she would be living with Romeo, she had begun waking up early and cooking for both of them with whatever was in the fridge. As time had gone by, she'd been given control of what went into the pantry, and fish was what she was most comfortable with, so fish was what she had bought most frequently, when she could get deals on it.

The limousine was not her preferred method of travel, being large and expensive, but she'd gotten a little more used to luxury around Romeo and bore the ride tolerably. When they finally reached the place, she paused. "Is it really alright for me to join? I'm neither your relative nor a model." In some ironic way, they were related through Demetri, but she wasn't about to tell him that. (@JustAnAuthor)

Abby giggled and turned so he could wash her hair. She was nervous about tonight, more than she would let on. She'd grown to love it when he washed her hair, and it relaxed her almost instantly.

His stomach churned as the limo parked outside the venue; to which he stared with petrified eyes, his heart racing hard in his chest. He calmed his expression facing Idris. "Idris, believe the words I speak with every Essence they hold of truth: I just, I just have this instinct, almost a calling within me; that you are family. So family to me you shall always be." He opened the door, taking her hand delicately, helping her out of the vehicle.

Demetri placed both hands in her hair pretty practically massaging her scalp to the tip of her hair. He giggled at some point, '' Now your hair will smell like mine.'' he simply stated as he changed place with her for her to be under the water and see her mousse getting washed away and revealing her beautiful blonde hair he had grown to love with her perfect smile. He simply grinned, his cheeks pink from the heat of the shower. '' Have I ever told you that you are the prettiest girl in the world?'' he flirtatiously said.

Well, his sense was technically not wrong, though she didn't know that they were actually ichor-related. Idris smiled at him calmly and accepted his hand, stepping out of the limo with her head held high, a picture of lady-like grace, though with none of the model aplomb. She had managed to get away with the rifle and knife always on her, even now, because of its usual state of invisibility. She smiled at him, then punched him hard in the shoulder. "Stop being so nervous, please, or I'll be forced to hit you back to your senses." She said as if it were the most natural thing in the world, hardly glancing at him as they walked together to the venue and began helping prepare.

He playfully rubbed his shoulder, following her into the venue. He watched people scattering around, technicians on ladders, proudly preparing the specific lights Romeo had requested and prepared in the final design of this night. He led Idris back stage, where models were sitting down, make up being finished on some, started on another. He watched with keen eyes as his outfits were hung up perfectly, without a single crease, onto the clothing rail.

Abby giggled as the last of the shampoo was washed from her hair. She turned around and wrapped her arms around his neck, she kissed hi lips gently. "You are the most handsome man I've ever seen," she said sincerely, pushing the hair away from his forehead affectionately.

Demetri kissed her again after she said that and winked at her, '' I know,'' he said playfully. He was thinking of doing more but time was being an ass and they had to be in Miami in two hours and he had to go to his house and get dress and then make sure Abby was dress and then get to Romeo's fashion show. '' Come on, we better start getting prepared to go to Romeo's fashion show before the party.'' he said remembering mentioning about his cousin to her while he pulled out a towel and wrapped it around his waist and grabbed another one for Abigaia.

Abby wrapped it around herself happily and dried her body, and her hair in a towel. "What do I wear?" she asked carefully. Her nerves coming back in full force.

Demetri stepped out of the shower looking at himself in the mirror as he pulled out a razor from the drawer for his very little beard. He applied the cream and removed the beard. '' Hum, A fancy Dress i guess. But not like long and stuff...well if you want. I kind of like those dresses.'' He trailed off washing the cream away and applied cologne, '' There is a lot of friends of my father from the fashion industry and all. Pretty fancy but crazy.. Kind off. Seems more like my dad trying to get new contacts for Romeo.'' he chuckled. He then looked at Abby. '' Whichever dress you choose, I'm pretty sure it will be beautiful and appropriate.'' he ended up saying happily.

Idris helped as best she could, doing whatever menial tasks other people needed to be done. When the two of them finally got a rest, she stood next to Romeo. "What about that one?" She gestured casually towards one of the models with heavy eye-liner (Adam) and a sort of punk rock look to him. She'd discovered that Romeo swung either way and since he was the first guy she was close to who was bisexual, she'd started randomly asking him his opinions on men around, to see if he had a type. @JustAnAuthor

Abby kissed his shoulder. "See you in a bit," she whispered, before redressing and moving slowly out of his cabin. She shifted her hair rather than taking the time to curl it and picked two dresses out of her bag, one red and one black. Sighing she tried on the red on, and looked down, carefully. It flowed gently down to just below her knees and complimented her tan nicely. She slid on a pair of black high heels and pinned her hair back, shifting her make-up on so it wouldn't smudge during the evening. They were such small changes that they wouldn't affect her energy levels throughout the evening, which she was glad of, and the dress was simple enough that it wouldn't take away from her natural beauty. Stepping out of the empty cabin, she sighed nervously and looked around for Demetri.

Freya smiled kindly at her sister, looking at her from across the room. She'd changed into a simple red lace dress with a pair of silver heels before walking over to her sister and kissing her cheek. "You'll do fine," she said softly and Abby smiled shyly.

Romeo looked up from his phone, to see the back of the head of a man that had a 'punk rock' vibe. Romeo nodded his head slowly, looking him up and down. "From the back he seems alright. I haven't seen the front." He turned to look at Idris. "So what about you, what's your type then?" He wiggled his eyebrows playfully, his bright smile cheeky.

Demetri walked out of the Apollo house just wearing a pair of sport shorts and his hair still messy from the shower and pretty much looking like he was about to go to the beach or something very casual. He looked at both girls gasping as he raised his eyebrows, '' Both of you girls look amazing!'' he stated as he offered his arms for the both of them. The taxi was waiting for them at the entrance.

He'd been trying this back at her since she'd developed an interest in his type, but Idris just flashed a sly grin at him with her eyes. "I've told you before, I don't have a type. I don't fall for anyone." She had told him nothing about her experience with attractive guys that had thus far made it impossible for her to be attracted to anyone.

Freya blew him a playful kiss, but her feelings weren't in it. She still felt dead, but as per Abby's request she would feign happiness. "We know," she said, taking one of his arms. Abby took the other nervously. They got into the cab slowly and Freya turned to look at her sister. She held out a bottle and Abby's eyes widened.

"Are you serious?" she asked and Freya nodded.

He let out a gentle laugh. "C'mon Idris, there must be a guy out there who makes you feel like the sun was something they created for you in the back of their tool shed. Just open up your eyes and let the beauty in."

Demetri chuckled sitting in the middle between the girls. He didn't understand what the bottle and just assumed it was alcohol. The cab took barely one minute to be in front of humongous mansion right in front of the beach. '' Already here? Sweet.'' he stated as he stepped down from the cab with the girls.

Idris simply continued smiling politely, no real emotion in her face. "No. There's never been any guy like that." She didn't add that if there ever was, she'd be running in the opposite direction as fast as she could. "I'm happy being single." She said quietly, but seriously.

He tilted his head softly, studying her face. Not wanting to intrude, or possibly uncover a hidden scar, he left the conversation where it was for now; that until they were in a private place.

He let out a deep breath, inflating his cheeks, incredibly nervous, the shocks of nausea and stress riding through him again in violent bolts as he checked the time; the show time approached ever closer.

Abby drank from the bottle and slid out behind him. "Dear god I hate the taste of Aphrodite's blessing," she said wrinkling her nose. She looked up at the house and looked up stunned. "Wow," she said with wide eyes. Freya paid the cab drivers and peaked up at the house with raised eyebrows.
