Realistic or Modern SoL Winter Cabin Romance RP (Always accepting)

Another alternative is... Have the RP only take place in the Cabin, with Snowboarding/Skiing being a passive option -- a sort of "if you really want to go, you can, but you'll have to make up the information".
That's what I was thinking.

Ahaha... Sorry, must've brought the pressure up a couple of notches by presenting all of that information huh? My bad.
Just to put you at ease, know that I provided that information simply for background knowledge regarding how Ski/Snowboard resorts looked. I wasn't providing it as a "you'd better use all of this or the RP'll be lame and inaccurate!" because that isn't the case at all. This RP is "casual" not "detailed", so saying something like that would be waaaaaaay past acceptable.

Also, know that Almost all of the information I provided was for Mapmaking. And, you should know that a good 95% of all RP's don't have maps. Why? Because they're hard to make. That's where most of that daunting feeling is coming from, no doubt. That being the case, not making a map is perfectly acceptable. As for why maps are useful: they grant a solid grasp for where a character can go, and allow easy marks for player locations. Once again, they're not necessary by any means.

Now, if you do want to make a map, then the first order of business would be to settle with an elevation for the Cabin, then simply make trails around that information. I could draw up a map for you using inkarnate if you give me relative positions... In fact, I can take care of that area entirely if you really want. Once the map is made, all that daunting information will completely disappear.

Just know this Naomi... I made an app without a map, so not having one won't kill me. As I said before, I see potential in this RP, and I saw it when it was just with the details you provided.

Once again, sorry for giving unnecessary pressure.
That's perfectly okay! I really enjoy seeing how in depth rping can get and I hope to get into more detailed rps in the future.

@Naomi Wilde I'm so sorry. I was busy making gifts for family yesterday and helping some friends and forgot to make my CS. I'll work on it today. Sorry Naomi T_T

A "Bump" is used to keep the RP on the front of its respective category -- in this case, it would be bringing it to the front of "Realistic or Modern". It lets more people see the RP, and possibly create an application.

Usually the Interest Checks are a better place for drawing newcomers here on RPNation, though...

Oh.

@Naomi Wilde Hey Naomi is it okay if my char doesn't have personality listed on the character sheet? Reason I ask is because its hard for me to stick to a personality I give them right off the bat, I always do better if I get a feel for the character and determine their personality through the RP. It helps me to actually develop them or else its like I'm roleplaying a brickwall or plastic doll, my characters have no life when I'm forced to keep them as a specific personality right off the bat unable to get a feel for them. Y'know what I mean?
