Yes and as many as you want! As long as you can keep track of them.

I'm good at keeping track of up to and over 30 characters. So glad to know I can have as many as I want. A lot of people even myself put limits bc most ppl create characters and don't stop and never use most of them.

Also it might take awhile for me to have characters since I like to use bases and draw my own characters for character sheets (unless doing asian drama roleplays then I use face claims which is where you take pictures and gifs of real people such as actors and idols for your character)

I'll probably be working on it tomorrow. I'm best at straight couples. Also my characters sometimes end up leaning towards eachother atleast the two I consider my main two usually (every other char I create pairs up with other ppls chars bc to me they are like my supporting chars) because..they take a few aspects of me and my boyfriend. Warning: I am very mushy and sweet even somewhat dramatic at times because I'm a hopeless romantic drama lover. Its kind of not something I can stop doing because its part of my personality.

Gay couples though I have many gay friends and support gays its too uncomfortable to represent them in roleplays or anything like that. Which is why I stick with straight couples. Hope you don't mind that

SoL is "Slice of Life" I believe. I'd give an explanation on what that means and possibly manga examples, but... Well... The gist of it is that it's exactly as it sounds. A snapshot into a certain time in certain individuals' lives.

@Naomi Wilde

I'll be making an application, but while I do so... Could you perhaps explain the rough scope this RP will be taking place in? You mentioned "the mountains", and the name has "winter cabin" in it, so I have a rough idea, but... Usually when it comes to skiing/snowboarding there're specific "tracks" or such to go down. I'm not asking for complete-metric-details, but rather something like:

Bunny Hill:

- Basic practice location for skiing/snowboarding, with no trees, rocks, or other such obstacles along its path; there are no jumps, however. Whether you're a Professional or a Novice, this hill is the ideal location for testing out your equipment.

- Location: East of Cabin

- Difficulty: Very Easy

Of course, if you want to go into extreme detail I won't stop you... It's just that listing lanes/tracks would make things a bit easier. As it stands, if I wanted to make a snowboarder I'd have to create locations myself... Which would be muscling in a bit on your (the DM's) abilities.

Anyways. As I said, I'll be haunti-- making an application for the RP, so please treat me well.

I know what a slice of life is, I'm an ex anime / manga fan. I didn't know that was what SoL meant though thank you for that ^w^

Glad to see another person planning to join. Seeing how Naomi is new I like that her RP is already going quite well I consider one person besides me and her an achievement it was hard to get most my RPs off the ground in the past.

Most of the specific details I was planning on explaining during the Rp. But if you need them, I would be more than happy to go in dpeth about the different activities and stuff on the original post.

@RegalWindstar

Yepyep~ Usually I stick to Fantasy, but I see potential in this RP, so here I am!

Ahh, something like a "short guide of the attractions" then? That'll work. For the sake of convenience, Making a "locations" tab if there're a lot of locations would be nice. That way, people can take a look at the areas without going back to specific posts.

That's just a recommendation, however.

Anyway @Naomi Wilde @Ensig I need to get some sleep its 2:39am. I will work on my CS tomorrow if I get the time. So, have a nice night you guys <3 Lots of love and *huggles* for you <3 I'll cya tomorrow ^w^

Thanks! I will work on that right now! Any specific places you would like to see?

Hm... Something like the "Bunny Hill" would be a good start(although the name doesn't have to be the same).

After that would be a place with jumps, and perhaps a trail of sorts (whether it's short, medium, or long in length is up to you -- you could even do all of them). Those're the basics for ski/snowboard resort-thingies, but so long as there's at least one of each difficulty (Easy, Medium, Hard) it's fine. A lot of higher end resorts have only a couple 'Easy' slopes with a much higher variety in 'Medium' and 'Hard' difficulty slopes, but because this is an RP, the options are endless.

I've gone skiing/snowboarding on multiple occasions, if that wasn't already obvious.

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhh. I much prefer the snow over mosquitoes.

In regards to skiing/snowboarding, I'm not great at either, but it was mandatory for phys-ed so it couldn't be helped. I've also gone to a couple of resorts and such, so I suppose I know a decent(?) amount about settings like this one. I could give you a rough description of some of the types of things you'd see, if you'd like.
That would be wonderful!

Alright! In that case... I'll get some pictures/links of some things in the morning, at which time I'll also finish my app. I'm gonna go to bed for now.

@Naomi Wilde

Finished my app! Also, just so you know, Skiing and Snowboarding hills are often the same. Usually, the only tracks that are exclusively for one or the other are for things like competitions and tricks, with the latter sometimes still being for both.

I'll go get some pictures of trails and such for you now!

Finished my information gathering. Make yourself comfortable!

Most lower-difficulty trails are wide and spacious without steep inclines, like this or this. There aren't any jumps or stuff like that in those places, they're just for the sake of relaxation, essentially. Of course, if you just head straight down, your speed will become quite fierce given the distance, but... Well... That's not recommended to begin with, so their difficulty would be Easy-Medium for the most part. They can have varying inclines as well, but so long as there's a bit of moving room, the difficulty is lower (this would be Easy-Medium still, for example). Also, wider trails sometimes split off into higher difficulty trails. For example, there could be small openings in the trees that lead to trails like this or this, which are usually Medium-Hard difficulty (depending on the incline and width of the trail).

Oh, also, because walking up the slopes all the time would be extremely troublesome there're a variety of Lifts for easy transportation. I'll list a couple:

 • There're T-Bars or J-Bars for shorter distances
 • Double/Triple Chairs are for medium distances
 • Gondolas are used for long distances (most notably for transportation between one "base" to the next -- like from here (where parking and such is) to here (up in the mountains) for example)

These are at the top and bottom of lifts, which pulls the lifts along the wires. Gondolas usually have a sort of "bus-station" appearance at the bottom and top, and are usually connected to buildings. Also, as a note... Most people don't take lifts down (with the exception of Gondolas), because you can usually take a trail back down to the start of the lift. For example:

McCauley-Mountain-Ski-Trail-Map.jpg

In the map above, all the lines with Letters are lifts, whereas the numbers are trails. In this case, I doubt there'd be any gondolas, because even line A could be done with a Chair Lift. As you can see with the numbers, the trees are cleared to let people get back down to the lifts. Also, in the case above "13" would probably be the easiest 'trail' -- a "bunny hill" in other words. D would probably be a J-bar to help children reach the top of the hill easier, but you could honestly walk up that distance without a problem.

Now for another map:

Activities-Downhill-Skiing_Song-Mtn-Trail-Map1.jpg

This one actually lists the lifts they use, but not where they go. You'll notice that the numbers have separate shapes around them. Circle = Easy, Square = Medium, Diamond = Hard. If you'd look at "1", you'll notice it has weird splotches -- that's because the trail would look something like this or this -- which are usually only used by Skiers to "hop" from one bump to the next. They're not extremely difficult... But they're difficult nonetheless.

As for jumps and such.. Well, they're essentially Medium-Hard trails that go straight down without any funny business for the most part, eventually leading to a ramp/multiple ramps like this. More mountainous areas could have small hills as jumps like this, however.

And there you have it, a crash course on Ski/Snowboard resort stuff.

U-Uh... C-Could you help me narrate an set this rp up... I-I don't think I am prepared for this...

inkarnate if you give me relative positions... In fact, I can take care of that area entirely if you really want. Once the map is made, all that daunting information will completely disappear.

Just know this Naomi... I made an app without a map, so not having one won't kill me. As I said before, I see potential in this RP, and I saw it when it was just with the details you provided.

Once again, sorry for giving unnecessary pressure.

Another alternative is... Have the RP only take place in the Cabin, with Snowboarding/Skiing being a passive option -- a sort of "if you really want to go, you can, but you'll have to make up the information".
