Social Experiment

Alex smiled and held Izzy close as they moved closer to the deep end. "Don't worry, I heard about your fear and I won't let you drown. If you want me to let go then I will, " she said with one of her rare gentle smiles. As they edged closer and closer an idea suddenly hit Alex. I want to tease her a little. She released her grip on Izzy just enough so that she wouldn't be holding her up.
 
Izzy smiled at Alex nervously. ”Thanks, but i'll be fine.” She mumered. Then the girl let her go a bit. Panic hit Izzy in a flash and she went under. This was what she was afraid of, she had always been a sinker. She sank to the bottom and no matter how much she flailed or kicked she couldn't seem to get back up. Her lungs burned as they screamed for oxygen, and she pushed with her hands to reach the top. As soon as she burst out of the water she choked and coughed, splashing to the edge and gripping it so hard her fingers turned white. She couldn't stop trembling as she coughed up water. She panted as she tried to catch her breath, and she started to cry. ”I'm fine.....i'm fine...” She muttered over and over not only to reassure Alex and the other people, but also herself.
 
Alex cursed under breath as she quickly swam to the side to jump out of the pool. She ran to Izzy and easily pulled her out of the water into her lap. "Damn I'm so sorry Izzy I-I didn't know that you would panic this bad and get out of my grip! I'm so, so sorry!" Alex wrapped her in a towel and began to sing softly to try to calm Izzy down while she held her close to keep her warm.
 
Lola smiled and sat on one of the deck chairs.


"I don't know I like to bake, I like to have fun... I like people. I like to swim.... I'm not that interesting, Tell me about you do you like to swim?" Lola crossed her legs and place an elbow on her knee and leaned forward.
 
Jay smiled and nodded, "Yeah. But I don't really swim with other people much. I have a... condition. And it's hard to explain sometimes." He shrugged and looked at the pool, "I'll probably swim when everyone's asleep or something. But I'm not really all that interesting either." He said changing the subject, "So you like to bake? Would you bake for me sometime? I like cake." He repeated and laughed.

Izzy continued to tremble but gripped Alex tightly to her. She let Alex's singing calm her down some to where her shaking stopped, but her eyes still held some panic. ”I-It's fine. Water doesn't l-like my family much.” She whispered, her voice trembling. She mentally kicked herself for being such a wuss. It's just water, it can't hurt you she thought as she stared out at the pool.
 
Alex knew that she was going to have bruises where Izzy was clinging to her as if her life depended on it. She tried to think of something that would calm her down and she began to run her hand through Izzy's hair. She sighed, "No, I still shouldn't have played with you like this when I knew that you didn't like water. Are you feeling a little better?"
 
Izzy nodded and slowly let go of Alex. ”I'll be fine. See, already stopped shaking.” She muttered, embarressed. She quickly stood, offering a hand to Alex. ”I should probably go change, and I think I won't be swimming again anytime soon.” She said softly.
 
She sighed and stood up on her own. Alex looked at Izzy with a slight angry expression, "Lying about your health is the worst thing you can do to me Izzy." She bent down a little and picked up her in her arms. "Now, I will take you to your room and you will rest, understood. If you need anything else feel free to ask."
 
Izzy sighed in resignation. Almost fooled her, she thought wearily. ”I'll be fine after a little sleep.” She muttered as Alex carried her to her room. Once there she hopped out of the girls arms, landing shakily on her feet. ”Thank you for helping me here, i'll be fine now. I'll see you later.” She mumered hurriedly and shut the door before the other girl could answer her. She shuffled to her bed and collapsed on it with a sigh, not caring if she got the bed soaked.

A blush emerged on Callahan's cheeks and he looked up at Kyle with a slight giggle. "Sorry...." He murmured, letting go of Kyle's shirt but still clinging to him. Callahan snuggled into his roommate having no intentions of letting go. "Where did everyone else go?" He asked quietly, closing his eyes with a little yawn.

She stripped from her hoodie to her tank top, and decided to just get in wearing that and her shorts. ”Hope the waters not cold.” She said with a nervous giggle, then took Alex's hand and stepped into the pool. She barely even noticed the other two people who joined.
Cole grinned as Charlie dragged him who knows where. ”What'd you find? Is it edible?” He asked with a giggle. That reminded him, when they were done doing whatever he was going to make food. You know, to eat.

"Ok so this is going to shock you.Well...I hope so..."Charlie said as she stopped in front of a gold painted door.She looked at Cole then took the key out that she found."You see this plate.You know it's just like the one that has our names on it beside our room doors?Well this one says"This room belongs to the the lucky one who found its key".So you see?!It's mines alllll mines."she said and giggled."Ok ok let's go in.."she said and unlocked the door and there laid a room but,not just any room,a gamer/hang out room!"Isn't it awesome,Cole!It has an Xbox Ps1 2 and 3,Wii,Kinect,everything!"She said then pulled Cole inside and closed the door behind them.


Kyle~


Kyle smiled at Callahan and giggled softly"Aww it's ok.No worries."he said."Well...they all wondered off to go check out the rest of the house I believe.So i guess it's just us for now hm?What do you wanna do?Do you play video games?I think there's an Xbox in the living room and I saw two controllers."he said and looked over at Callahan.
 
Todd had regained control over the living room TV when his brother had left with the girl to go explore. He wondered what his roommate was up to now, probably sterilizing the room for fear of some terrible flesh eating disease. He laid on the couch stretched out with the remote in his hand as he watched Game of Thrones.

"Well.... Gun games are scary.... I only play pokemon.... But I'll try playing something else~" Callahan giggled shyly, giving a faint smile. It was true, Callahan was petrified of games with guns and zombies or any types of scary monsters, most thought he was weird for that but he didn't mind.
 
Cole looked around with wide eyes, and did a little twirl. "Oh emz gee!So jelly!" he exclaimed, falling back on the tentacle chair plush thing. "Wonder what games they have? You are soooo lucky Char!" he giggled. Then he had a sudden idea. "This could be our get away room! Like when things get boring or stress eats at us, we could hide away out here and play games!" he offered, grinning goofily.
 
Alex sighed and rubbed the back of her head when the door was slammed in her face. Jeez, Alex couldn't catch a break with these new girls. "Well I guess that I'll leave you alone for awhile okay? I need...to be alone for a little myself." She shakily walked down into her own room and flopped on her bed while memories of the way that she had accidently killed her younger sister flashed through her mind.

Charlie giggled and walked over to the huge closet they had then pulled it back"It's trillions and trillions of them!"she said excitedly.She scanned over the games reading them one by one and picked out one"Ooo how about Guitar Hero?Ooo maybe Mario?Hmm Grand Theft Auto?"she asked.She walked over to Cole with five different games in her hand then smiled at him"Sure!It can be both of ours!"she said and giggled."Izzy's and my brother's can come in as well but,we'll own it!"she said smiling.'Oo and they have snacks."she added and kneel down at the table that was in the middle of the room.She pulled back a small door and looked at the different snack choices.She pulled out a bag of chips then plopped back down beside Cole."So Cole?What do you want to play?"she asked.
 
Cole was stumped. He looked around the room and felt like a washed up fish the way his jaw was dropped. He rocked at guitar hero though. "GH, they should have the guitars for them hopefully though." he finally answered.


Izzy got back up and quickly changed into jeans and a lack tanktop, being tanktops the only thing she really wears. She searched for her IPod, then realized she forgot it and her hoodie at the pool. She sighed and headed back that way.
 
(sorry sleep, school and starting up my own Rp! also What should I do with Kenton...He's sorta wandering the house...)


"A condition...." lola backed away.... Great, he probably had herpes or something Kenton liked to joke that she was doomed to get. She stood. "Well...it's been great... I should find my brother...." She trailed off. Why did he have to have herpes?

Jay's eyes went wide, why was she leaving already? Normally they didn't leave until they knew that he wasn't actually a guy yet. Unless she was assuming his condition was some sort of disease. Oh my god! What if she thinks I have some STD?! She's going to tell everyone I have AIDS! "It's not like a disease or anything! I mean I'm clean! I've never even had sex!" Oh my god. Shut up. Shut up now! Stop digging your grave! "I mean! I-" He stuttered at the end floundering around verbally. Oh god. What was he doing!? F*ck! He groaned and turned around walking away, not that he had anywhere to go in the room, the exits were all in her direction. Blah, screw this, why couldn't he have just been born with the penis he was supposed to have?! It would have made things a lot easier!

Izzy hurried to where she thought the pool was located, but must have took a wrong turn. As she turned into a hall, she suddenly ran into someone with such force she fell backwards. "Crap I'm so so sorry!" she exclaimed as she stood, quickly helping the poor guy she ran over back up.

"Oh... uh hello!" Kenton smiled brightly and accepted the help. He took his chance. HE was so so so so so lost he just wanted some help. "Hi....uh....I'm lost....do you know where we are...I mean I know we are in the house and....I'm Kenton by the way what's your name?" Kenton smiled at the girl she seemed nice and he needed a friend. Or a guide.

"what is it then? I mean why can't you swim with me?" Lola couldn't think of any reason not to she looked REALLY good in her swimsuit and she was getting total flirt vibes from him so what the heck kinda condition would prevent him from swimming with a girl unless swimming with the girl would infect the girl. "You know I'm not a stranger to weird medical Sh*t Kenton has had some odd things..."
 
Jay looked at the pool water, yep. Complicated was definitely the best word to describe his life. "It's nothing like... important. Just a uhm... minor... birth defect of sorts. Nothing contagious." He said with a quiet, nervous laugh. "I'm just a little self conscious about it is all. It doesn't really matter." He said with a shrug sticking his hands in his pockets really hoping she would just take that answer and be okay with it. Sometimes it was, but sometimes they kept asking, and the more specific the questions got the harder it was to skate around the truth.

Izzy smiled. "I'm Izzy, and i think we're in the hall opposite to the Pool room. That's where I was headed anyways. I forgot something in there.....and you're that girl Lola's brother!" she exclaimed in sudden remembrance. "You can come with me if you'd like, your sister is in there too." she added, not wanting to seem rude.
 
Kenton smiled. "Sure!!" He followed her to the pool room


Lola smiled sweetly "What kind if you don't mind me asking... I won't judge you...Hey! You know what we should do?? Swim at night while people are sleeping.... that way, people don't have to see you swim and you and I can swim together..." She paused for him to answer but started up again "Actually it's better! we will be totally alone....ohhh" She beamed
